  1. I would encourage you to read the context. It also says further up no one seeks God. Do you seek God?
  2. It seems you are already convinced.
  3. Why does Romans 3:23 say this? What's the context?
  4. I never said never. We come into the kingdom as Children and we receive chastisement. So we can partake in His holiness. Read Hebrews 12:5-12
  5. No, he's saying he writes that so we do not sin. Where does he say habitual. If we keep sinning we have an advocate? Does that make sense?
  6. Yes it is. It's an action, but if some silly thought just comes to your mind and you ignore it then it is not sin.
  7. Read 1 John 2:1, he says we have an advocate if(not when, but if we sin), but he wrote those things that we sin not or do not sin. You can be free from sin here on earth.
  8. Fleeting thoughts are not sin if you entertain it then it's sin. this is how 1 John 1:7-10 looks like in context, thought conversation. p1: "Come to Jesus He will cleanse you from ALL sin"(v7) p2: "I have no sin to be cleansed of" p1:"you are a liar and the truth is not in you"(v8) p1:"now if you confess that you have sin to be cleansed of, He will forgive you and cleanse you from sin" (v9) p2:"ok I confess" p1:"[good] now if you say you have not sinned you are a liar" (v10)
  9. The Bible doesn't support that we can't. To say we can't is unbiblical and shows lack of faith in the power of God. Lack of faith will stunt our growth and make us ineffective in the kingdom of God, towards our neighbor and towards our brother. Eventually will be cut off and throw in the fire. read John 15:1-6
  10. I believe I do. If not, God will show me. I will then repent and He will cleanse me. Today actually, I remember that I was coveting a life that I did not have(going through a lot with sickness and poverty at the moment), so I confessed to God and now my thoughts are content. I believe He cleansed me of that covetousness in my heart.
  11. Yes, because we all come into the Kingdom as Children and we need to be chastised so that we can share in His Divine nature. See Hebrews 12: 5-12.
  12. Sorry I don't have to sin. It's possible to sin but I trust that God can keep me. At the moment I don't know of any sins against myself.
  13. If I do sin I have an advocate but I don't believe I will always sin. I'm not sure if I still sin but I am capable, but I don't have. And I trust God can keep me from sin.
  14. 1. It still says He is able so I'll believe that. 2. I can say no to the old nature. That is part of suffering in the flesh. 3. Peter still says we will never fail. If we practice these qualities 4. If someone walks after the Spirit will they sin?
  15. And you expect to always fail?
  16. How can we say we know Him and not keep His commandments?
  17. Jude 1:24 1 Peter 4: 1-2 2 Peter 1: 5-10 Romans 8: 2-14 are some.
  18. Why try something that you know you'll fail at?
  19. Still don't see it to be honest
  20. I'm not sure how these verse say that we will be sinless only after His return.
  21. 1 John 3:3 "And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure."
  22. Where does the Bible say sin will cease when we are in His Presence.
  23. Many of those who call themselves Christians believe that we will always sin. They misuse Romans 3:23 and Romans 7. How do you correct this thinking without being seen as a heretic, being that it's a common belief?
  24. If you can read that and continue in what you believe without conviction then go on.
