  1. John 15:18-27 "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, "A slave is not greater than his master." If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. "But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well. But they have done this in order that the word may be fulfilled that is written in their Law, "THEY HATED ME WITHOUT CAUSE." When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness of Me, and you will bear witness also, because you have been with Me from the beginning." Hello minister in training, when I read your post, these verses came to my mind and so I thot I would post it. Anyway, I am not sure what knda website you have gone into, so I can't really comment. But I think it's important when we post article to be careful the kinda of language we use in those posts. I mean people who are pre-believers can be very defensive or angry at us trying to "preach" to them. They don't wanna you to tell them what to do. Their antennaes are all up when they read your post, and they can become very aggressive and antagonistic to whatever you are writing. So, you need God's wisdom and discernment as to how to go about doing this. While it is true as the scripture says, "by all means save some..." We also need to involve the Lord in every of our spiritual activity and have HIM pave the way. Always remember, the focus point of Christ is always LOVE and not condemnation. I won't go into details of the scriptures. I believe you probably know alot about the scripture already. Don't take rejection as failure, but whatever you do, remember do it in love. So, take heart and do not give up on sharing the good news to those that needs to hear them. Concentrate on those who are interested to hear, and not those who wants to argue and debate with you. Let the Holy Spirit do the job for you That's what He is for in our lives, to guide us, counsel, lead us... and more and more... hehe YOu can do the sowing and reaping... hehehe... oops.. :x hope I am making sense..
  2. Thank you lightbearer for sharing this news with us. I have posted this news on the prayer requests section for our prayers. We need to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. God have mercy!!

  4. SIZE=7] Dear friends, I have two stories to share with you. These stories reminds me of God's love for each one of us. The first one reminds me that Jesus died and rose again. Therefore we can rejoice cos' we serve a risen Savior and He is in the world today. May our lives radiates His love to others not just through our mouth, but through our daily living. May we live our lives as what Jesus says in John 10:10, "The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly. " Do you believe that Jesus came to give you life and life abundant? Then live like one. He will not disappoint you. I pray that these two stories will find your heart encouraged and strengthened in HIM. Here are the two stories: 1. http://www.angel45-2b.com/jeremysheart.html 2. The Scars of Love Some years ago on a hot summer day in south Florida a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole behind his house. In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks and shirt as he went. He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore. His mother--in the house was looking out the window--saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, she ran toward the water, yelling to her son as loudly as she could. Hearing her voice, the little boy became alarmed and made a U-turn to swim to his mother. It was too late. Just as he reached her, the alligator reached him. From the dock, the mother grabbed her little boy by the arms just as the alligator snatched his legs. That began an incredible tug-of-war between the two. The alligator was much stronger than the mother, but the mother was much too passionate to let go. A farmer happened to drive by, heard her screams, raced from his truck, took aim and shot the alligator. Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy survived. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal, and on his arms, were deep scratches where his mother's fingernails dug into his flesh in her effort to hang on to the son she loved. The newspaper reporter who interviewed the boy after the trauma, asked if he would show him his scars. The boy lifted his pant legs. And then, with obvious pride, he said to the reporter, "But look at my arms, I have great scars on my arms, too. I have them because my Mom wouldn't let go. You and I can identify with that little boy. We have scars, too. No, not from an alligator, or anything quite so dramatic. But the scars of a painful past. Some of those scars are unsightly and have caused us deep regret. But, some wounds, my friend, are because God has refused to let go. In the midst of your struggle, He's been there holding on to you. The Scripture teaches that God loves you. If you have Christ in your life you have become a child of God. He wants to protect you and provide for you in every way. But sometimes we foolishly wade into dangerous situations. The swimming hole of life is filled with peril -- and we forget that the enemy is waiting to attack. That's when the tug-of-war begins -- and if you have the scars of His love BLESSED EASTER! Lydia
