He is a computer tech, and has bought and sold online business that he builds up. He got sick of dealing with customers and their complaints. He is now branching out into real estate, but I'm concerned because he doesn't know the legal aspects of real estate.  He is smart, and works doing SEO for several different companies.  He's worked so hard, and I'd like to see him succeed.

I often pray multiple times when I ask God to answer a specific prayer request.  In some instances I have prayed for years, and no answer came.  There is the parable of the unjust judge, which is to serve as a reminder to us to continue petitioning God for an answer until it comes.  Sometimes this seems a futile waste of energy which also brings the grief and heartbreak of unanswered prayers.  It would seem that God is cruel, when we are told in Scripture to be persistent.

I don't like when some fancy preacher showboats and insists someone's leg has grown two inches, or other unproven results.  I like to know that it was really God that answered the prayer.  I recall one time I was going through a terrible ordeal, and God didn't answer my cry for help.  I spoke with a young mother who blustered at how "God had brought their family a dog!"  That really hurt.  Here I was going through a hellish ordeal, and I'm supposed to believe that God sent a dog to that family when I had serious unmet needs?

God said He desires truth in our inmost being, and I always remind Him of this when I express how much I've been disappointed, and how I don't like the way He has let the evil in this world to continue it's downward spiral, and how I don't agree with Him that He's let evildoers off the hook.

I'd like to know how long others pray for a specific request before throwing in the towel.

SHOCKING details are coming to light over the discovery of a man swallowed by a giant reticulated python.
A man who went missing in a remote Indonesian village on the island of West Sulawesi on Sunday night has been found inside a seven-metre-long python.
Footage released by Viral Press shows the horrifying moment 25-year-old harvester Akbar Salubiro’s body was reportedly cut out of the giant snake’s belly.
“This probably attacked from behind,” a villager told Tribun Timur.
The Timur said the snake weighed 158 kilograms, almost four times the body weight of its victim.

I too hate snakes - they remind me of the evil one.  I don't know about them thinking and reasoning, but a certain amount of thinking goes into their quest for food, and avoidance of people.  I read in one of Mark Bubeck's books, that a man oppressed by satan sometimes made him hiss like a snake.  That's pretty sinister.

I'd like to ask you to pray for my oldest daughter to meet a godly man and bless her with a child.  She has endured a lot of heartache; it hurts, and I have prayed many years for God to "restore the years the locusts have eaten..." She was done unbearable evil by my evil sister and her demon daughter.  I have prayed repeatedly for God's judgment upon them, but He has not shown me His answers.  Has anyone dealt with this before?

Every day I petition God for answers for her, and another day goes by, and no answers have materialized.  It is draining to keep asking God to answer, as in the parable of the unjust judge, and sometimes I just hold my hand in the air, meaning "you've already heard the prayer God, when are you going to answer?"

Please also pray for my son. He's had some tough breaks too, that hurt.  He married a woman who I didn't care for.  Her family are Christians, but her mother is very manipulative. His wife is causing division in our family.  He hurt his wrist in an uninspected rental house, rented to him and his friends by the church youth pastor.  They were realtors who were very corrupt - who were behind the Kiddie Kollege daycare scandal, where they rented a mercury-infested property to a daycare, which left a lot of children with permanent damage.  They got off with a slap on the wrist.

My son was hurt and they hoodwinked him and my husband into not suing.  After the statute of limitations ran, they refused to help my son anymore. It left me with some serious anger, at them and my husband.  I tried to tell him what they were about and he was stiff-necked and refused to listen.  Even now, when I see my son's wrist, it makes me angry at my husband. He was left with a mangled wrist, and I appealed to our state supreme court, to no avail.  

Most of all I pray for my son to succeed in business.  He is an entrepreneur trying to make it in a tough economy.

I also ask for prayer for all three of our children's salvation.

I prayed for you.  Remember fear is a tactic of the enemy.  Scripture memorization may help.

Yes - I'm so very relieved.  My grandson went home Sunday and checked his phone, and his father hadn't texted him, so it hurts.  But we're supporting him, and he's on the right track - doing good in school and athletics, so I think keeping busy is good for him.  It was appalling that her ex's lawyer thought it was okay that he didn't support his child, yet wanted rights.  I feel for families across the country who have been victimized.  I read some horrendous cases where an abuser got custody, and abused the children, and the other spouse had no legal recourse.  I truly believe the evil one is after children, and we should pray for all children.

Thank you for asking.  He's doing great!  He has not heard from his father - who was allowed to text him.  I don't want him hurt, so we're trying hard to come up beside him.  We went to grandparents day at his school, and he was so happy!  He stayed with us last weekend, because his two buddies live across the street and next door - and unbelievably, the one family are Christians, and have taken him to church. 

I had to do a lot of soul searching before fighting for no visitation rights.  I kept coming back to what was best for my grandson's life.  I thought that he has years to reconnect with his father if he chooses to do so.  Putting him in a toxic environment that he doesn't have the autonomy yet to be able to leave, would have been disastrous.

My husband & I were just going over it, and he said that it was uncanny how everything worked out perfectly.  Originally they were going to keep the same lawyer who just wanted to give in.  An out of state lawyer advised me to hire a new lawyer. My husband didn't want to sink money into a new lawyer, but I told him our grandson was worth it. At the time, I didn't know what I was doing.  When I searched for a new lawyer, there were so many to choose from. I read all the reviews on Yelp and other places.  I kept wanting to hire one highly rated lawyer, but something checked me.  So I ended up contacting a lawyer, who referred me to "Dawn".  I forwarded her contact information to my daughter and she scheduled an appointment.  

The day of the meeting, my daughter was so discouraged she wasn't going to go!  I pushed her, and she and my husband really liked her. So now I'm slightly concerned that her ex's parents may try to fight for grandparent's rights, but my husband doesn't think they will.  But it's nothing like the raw, ice-cold fear I faced several months ago.

I just hope that through this, my daughter will return to the faith I taught her. I'm disappointed that she isn't taking my grandson to church so he can attend Sunday School.  He goes with us when I'm able, and his friend's parents take him once in awhile.  But when we don't go, we read Pilgrim's Progress together.  He complains at first, but then gets into it.

Now I'm waiting on some other prayer answers.  This answer was really spectacular.  I can't believe how everything fell into place.  I told my husband it could not be anything different than divine intervention.

That's as low as a human being can go.  How can anyone blame the victim, after screams were heard?  Thank God for Carlson.  I emailed the show and praised him.

It's a terrible thing to drag that young lady through the mud, after sustaining such a brutal attack.  The love of money is the root of all evil.

Thanks Worthy.  I was moved by this girls plight - I can't imagine withstanding that brutal attack, and knowing that the entire nation knew of it.  How much longer before the Lord comes back?  

Two undocumented immigrants raped and sodomized a 14 year old in the schools restroom.  In spite of her classmates reporting that they heard her screams, and finding blood evidence, unbelievably the lawyers for the two adult men are claiming that "it was consensual."  This is the ugly defense that has been used through the ages.  The lawyers are "Superlawyers", so the t.v. host asked how they afforded to pay for a lawyer (which would cost you or I approximately $7,000 +    The lawyer refused to answer the question.

This country has been sold down the river. 

Please pray for this girl, and consider emailing the school and the lawyers.  It is heartbreaking that this girl was damaged physically and emotionally, now, everyone across the nation knows of the attack on her.  She will never be able to return.  

Hopefully this prayer should extend to all our youth.  This world is a tough place to live in now.

My Friend went to a school and we found out that it was operated by witches. One day she ca,me home and said that one of the clubs she joined was making her say certain things and giving her drugs. and when her mom was pulling her out of school it was a VERY spiritual battle. They didn't want to let her go they wanted to keep her in the school. They didn't want anyone leaving.

Satan is revealing himself more than ever. People are just so spiritually blind they don't recognize it. They don't understand that we are all in a spiritual battle. They don't understand we must operate more in the spirit than in the flesh. Because 9 times out of ten that's where you will be attacked from.

That's alarming - but we know the characteristics of the evil one.  He goes about as a roaring lion, yet other times is subtle.  He obviously uses different tactics, based on the needs of the moment.  And he hates believers with a cruel hatred and tries to put terrible things into their lives.  

Satan is active, with unequaled vileness parading every day on the news.  I wish God would act - I think this world is becoming uninhabitable - and more so for children.  

It is so very very hard to hold to the truth now, I've found.  Many, many do not - including some Christians.  

I hope that my ordeal can motivate others to speak for those who can't speak for themselves.

You have a good grasp on it.  I haven't been alert to commercials and cartoons - nothing is sacred.  I know just what you mean about "subliminal" messages - I see clothing for children with dragons on it.  Some may think this harmless, but satan was described as a dragon, and we are to "avoid all appearance of evil."  When my children were in school, we were appalled to find a book on witchcraft in an elementary school library.  One day my daughter brought a book home from that school library, that gave instructions on water divining - something like that.  I threw the book outside - I didn't want it in the house.  I sent a note to the principal with the book, and told him it shouldn't be in a children's library.  He was a do-nothing, and I doubt he removed it.  That's what I mean about positions of authority - they should be held by believers.  Parents even used to joke that the librarian was a real witch.  I was uncertain, but she gave me a bad feeling.  When I picked my children up from school, I used to watch the hordes of children exiting her class, and I remember thinking that she indoctrinated children with all the wrong things.

Hitler allegedly did just that - saying he could mold a child - I guess to violate their consciences.  It's a certainty he was driven by the evil one.

Subliminal is closely associated with "subtle" - "now the serpent was more subtle than any beast..."  So I think it's clear that satan is going after children, using subliminal messages.

Wayne - thank you.  I am a little on edge still - concerned about what he or his mother, may do.  I did not want my grandson near his mother - I knew some of the things she did, and she's hateful.  She and her son trashed my daughter in front of my grandson. I asked him what they said, and it was bad.  She's living with a guy who owns a farm, and he has cancer.  She's a shrewd woman; I know she's waiting it out for him to die, so she gets his house, farm, and any money or insurance.  If she gets a windfall, she may try to appeal - but God has shown me that He has heard.

I sincerely appreciate that.  I was so afraid because the first lawyer told us that we couldn't win, and even asked my daughter where a good drop-off place would be.  So that can show just how great this victory  is.  I do feel sorry for her ex, and am going to pray for his salvation, but there is no way a young boy who is doing well should be forced into a chaotic environment where there is drug use and domestic violence.  We narrowly escaped - think of the thousands across our country who haven't.  

Awhile back, when all the kidnappings started, another believer told me it was "a war on kids."   I think he was right.  Satan is going after the next generation.  At my age, I see how each successive generation has grown worse and worse.  The way that people are supposed to descend according to scripture is unfolding before our eyes.

My husband told me the entire account this morning, remarking that the ex did exactly what I had prayed, that God would put his Holy Finger on the ex, and he would "make foolish and stupid mistakes."   My husband said that's exactly what he did.

The new lawyer told us that we should recognize just how unusual this is; but only a believer would know that it was from God's Hand.

For the believers here, I hope that someone was moved by this, and motivated to get involved.  I learned so much while doing research, that it scared me, the way decisions are made every day in courts across the country - decisions that are absolutely harmful to children.  Please consider getting involved.  The entire next generation is at stake, and will come out damaged, especially due to the fact that so many young women are having children and aren't married. The values have all been shifted, and not for the good.  Believers are needed in positions of authority, yet often unbelievers hold positions, and are satan's tools.  

No matter what occupation you are in, children need believers to become involved.  May God bless everyone here who prayed for my grandson.

I think sometimes we don't recognize a spiritual attack right away.  It was when I read up on it, and saw that this had all the earmarks of a spiritual attack that I realized where it was coming from.

AMEN!  WE GOT FULL CUSTODY, A NEAR MIRACLE! God surely heard our prayers. Thank you, everyone who prayed - my daughter and husband went to court and the judge made the determination.  My husband told me there was a bad outburst from her ex, so I'm still somewhat on edge.  He hates my daughter, husband, and me, and his mother is an evil woman - it emanates from her.  So I hope and pray the threat is over.  

Thank you all again.  The first lawyer told us it was impossible - he didn't know what God could do.

Court in and hour and a half.  Please pray.

Can you please pray for my friend Gail?  Her son was murdered at 16 by another teen, and around the time of his birthday she grieves and gets depressed.

Can you please also pray for a the son of my former neighbor - Jimmy & Kathy - their unarmed son was shot to death by state police, and he left two young girls.
