  1. Did Jesus not do all this work at the cross?
  2. Friend: obeying, following and crucifying your flesh does not keep you saved.
  3. Men who sin? Isa 64:6, 1 John 1:8 .
  4. Wrong by your testimony, or God's testimony. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 1 John 5:9-15 We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. 10Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
  5. Nothing false about John 3:16 Jeff.
  6. The world is separated into two categories, believers and non believers. That whoever believes..... John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
  7. The Bema seat is in heaven Jeff. All born again believers will be at the Bema.
  8. Yeah, He loved them so much He died on the cross for them, but will everyone believe? No. You are either born again or not.
  9. You mean at the Bema Seat? Of course.. but will God kick them out of heaven? No.
  10. Indeed, and also notice the word "agape" in Rom 8:35, 39. Agape love is for believers in Christ only. Rom 5:5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love (agape) has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Rom 8:33-39 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love (agape) of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love (agape) of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2 Cor 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love (agape) of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Col 1:3-8 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love (agape) you have for all God’s people— 5the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel 6that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace. 7You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf, 8and who also told us of your love (agape) in the Spirit.
  11. Amen! Heb 6:16-20 People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. 17Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. 19We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.
  12. Yeah, He disciplines and sanctifies them. He doesn't throw them into the lake of fire. Heb 12.
  13. You're comparing God the Father to an earthly father?
  14. John 3:16
  15. I have. We are adopted into a family Jeff. He doesn't kick you out of the family for misbehaving.
  16. The lake of fire isn't horrible??
  17. Yes!
  18. Teaching others that you can lose your salvation if you don't do this or that is what drags people down Jeff. It's a horrible teaching, putting believers back under the law.
  19. The only thing that drags people down is the Law.
  20. I do believe Him Jeff. I believe in the finished work of the cross. Do you believe it is finished as well?
  21. Does the blood of Christ save you? Prove that Jesus died on the cross?
  22. ..so we wouldn't have to. our work is to believe in the finished work of the cross. this is our hope.
  23. The Old Testament will not save you either. Read what Jesus taught after Pentecost.
  24. Your works will not save you, only the blood of Jesus will.
