  1. I don't know how I'll ever be sure of my salvation again.
  2. What's the unforgivable sin?? If I just had a thought go through my mind that maybe Jesus did cast out demons by the ruler of demons, is that the unforgivable sin? I know Jesus DID NOT cast out demons by the ruler of demons. It was just an evil thought I had. It was triggered by my believing/worrying that Jesus was not going to save me due to my past failures/mistakes. But maybe it's too late for me after having that thought, and now I'm going to Hell? Have I committed the unforgivable sin?? Please be honest. Maybe that is why I can't shake the condemnation that has tormented me this year. Another thought I had was, "What kind of a God are you?" because I didn't think He was going to save me. I desperately hope I'm saved or still can be!
  3. I just don't see forgiveness for these failures in the scriptures.
  4. Jesus rejected those would-be disciples for not responding immediately and fully committed. I did the same. I worry it's too late to ask forgiveness, ask Jesus into my heart, and make Him the Lord and Savior of my life. Have I lost my opportunity to be forgiven, be saved, and have a relationship with God? I can't find peace at all.
  5. I am guilty of the same failures/mistakes in the scriptures below. Will God forgive me? The scriptures seem to leave a sense of condemnation, finality and doom. Please help me. Luke 9:57-62New King James Version (NKJV) The Cost of Discipleship 57 Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.” 58 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” 59 Then He said to another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” 60 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.” 61 And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.” 62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:17-27New King James Version (NKJV) Jesus Counsels the Rich Young Ruler 17 Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” 18 So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”[a] 20 And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.” 21 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.” 22 But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
