  1. Righteousness does not come through the law, but from baptism of the holy spirit. Once you receive the holy spirit, you will be caused to obey the law, and it will then henceforth become impossible for you to sin, because the holy spirit circumcises the heart, which is the removal of your sinful nature.
  2. You are in fact walking contrary to what is written, in which case you are following after your own mind and understanding. My two Proverbs for you are, Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered. (Proverbs 28:26 [ESV]) Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5 [ESV]) For if indeed the Lord said this, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. (Matthew 5:17 [NIV]) Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:19 [NIV]) For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. (Matthew 5:18 [NIV]) And you say that you no longer need to obey this law, then you are following your own mind and leaning on your own understanding, for the holy spirit would not lead you to disobey the law that he himself gave to us, unless you are being led by some other spirit that is not of God. I am admonishing you with love as another fellow believer in the Lord.
  3. Then must you obey the law or not? You can either do one or the other. Don't beat around the bush.
  4. Indeed so, because it is not by works of law is one delivered, but by receiving the holy spirit, which then causes you to obey the law. Have you not read? And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. (Ezekiel 36:37 [ESV]) If you are still sinning, then you have not received the holy spirit.
  5. I quote, "I'm glad Jesus kept the Law perfectly in my stead..." You are in fact implying that Jesus Christ kept the law that you may disobey it.
  6. You're suggesting Jesus Christ kept the law so you can have the liberty to disobey it? My my my, you are in for a shock in the day of judgment, But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God's laws.' (Matthew 7:23 [NLT])
  7. It is not picking and choosing. The shadow laws are foreshadows whose realities are found in Christ. Let me map it out for you, 1. Passover lamb requirement = Jesus Christ as the reality of the passover lamb.2. Festival of Unleavened Bread = reality to put away sin.3. Festival of First Fruits = reality of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.4. Festival of Weeks (Pentecost) = reality of the giving forth of the holy spirit.5. Festival of Trumpets = reality of the second coming of Jesus Christ with the sound of trumpets.6. Day of Atonement = reality of the gathering of the elect from all over the world.7. Festival of Booths = reality of the time the elect will begin to live in the encampment that will exist in Israel for them.8. Seventh Day Sabbath = reality of the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ that corresponds with the last thousand years of the full seven thousand years for this heaven and earth to exist.9 Circumcision of the flesh = reality of the circumcision of the heart to discard your sinful nature (foreskin of the heart), and free you from sin.10. Abstinence from foods = reality to not yoke together with unbelievers, for the behaviors of unclean animals symbolize the behaviors of ungodly men.As such, these laws that are identified as shadows, are obeyed by fulfillfing their respective realities. Whereas laws, such as, "do not kill", "do not murder", still apply in their literal sense.
  8. Obedience to to the commands of God is not legalism. Observance of commands that are identified as shadow laws is, Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. (Colossians 2:16-17 [NIV]) Which includes the circumcision of the flesh. You guys completely discard the entire law on the basis that shadow law is no longer observed by those in the assemblies of Jesus Christ, and that is a fatal mistake.
  9. There is no distinction between "societal" laws and "moral" law. Every command, even the least, must be obeyed, Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:19 [NIV])
  10. How can you say that the laws in these books to not apply to the church? Tell me, does "do not commit adultery" not apply to you? Did Paul not say adulterers will not inherit in the kingdom of God? Did it not occur to you that it was this command he was referencing when he said that?
  11. This study goes over why it is a sin to be in debt, to lend at interest, and to engage in various forms of usury that are common in American culture.
  12. Demons came from the sexual union of fallen angels and women in the times before the great flood, in accordance with the passage of Genesis that the "sons of God came in to the daughters of men". The giants that the women bore, then became demons when they died, and were cursed to roam the earth as foul spirits. Unlike fallen angels, demons try to live in human bodies. Although not part of the canon, the Book of Enoch is an interesting read.
  13. Indeed. And it is based on the false teaching that repent just means a "turn of heart" or "feeling remorseful", as opposed to actually stop sinning.
  14. This study goes over the events related to the second coming in correlation to the Jewish festivals and old testament prophecies, going from the time of the opening of the sixth seal, to the time of the trumpet blasts of the seventh seal, and to the future time of the new heaven and new earth.
  15. So then you are affirming precisely what I am saying, you must essentially stop sinning, as that is the reflection of a repentant heart. Of what use is remorse if you do not stop doing the actions you are remorseful for?
  16. If an adulterer comes to believe in Jesus Christ, and feels remorseful for his sin, but continues committing adultery till the day he dies, will he inherit the kingdom of God?
  17. This study goes over who the first beast and second beast of Revelation are in relation to the book of Daniel and history. Also goes over who the prostitute of Babylon is, who the antichrist was and is, and what the final kingdom before the coming of Jesus Christ will be.
  18. This study goes over why it is necessary to stop sinning, which is what "repent" actually means, what the circumsion of the heart is, what the baptism of the holy spirit causes, and the purpose of the first coming of Jesus Christ to not only atone for sin, but to end it.
  19. The Law of Moses forbids lending at interest in any form, In which case, a common form of lending is money lent at interest, and although it was prohibited for the Israelites to do so to each as brothers, it was permitted for them to do so to foreigners, Because God intended the Israelites to rule over nations, and also be above them, Yet they were not permitted to borrow from the nations, because as a people that were freed from slavery from Egypt, They could not then become enslaved by borrowing from nations, since a borrower is a slave to his lender, Which is why Paul says this concerning borrowing, Because just as the Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt, so have the elect been freed from the slavery of sin, And in a related manner that the elect are not to file civil suit with the ungodly to settle matters among each other, nor be unequally yoked with unbelievers, And just as the Israelites were prohibited from borrowing from the nations, so are the elect also prohibited from borrowing from unbelievers and the ungodly, and should thus, owe no man anything. Yet just as the poor or fellow Israelites could borrow from the Israelites without interest, as opposed to borrowing from the nations, So in likewise manner can the elect who are in need also borrow from other fellow believers in the assemblies of God, And whoever lends to him must not only lend without interest, But also in accordance with the new covenant of Jesus Christ, lend to him without expecting anything in return, And as such, all the needs of all the assemblies of God will be met, and the elect will be indebted to no one. And in doing thus, will their love for each other be seen by all people, And not only must the elect give freely to those in need in the assemblies of God, but also to anyone else who is poor and in need, and even to unbelievers, And as such, in freely giving to all, the elect demonstrate the mercy of God in how God freely gives to both the righteous and the unrighteous, Which is the way of those who live in the new covenant of Jesus Christ, who give freely and fulfill the law by not only loving God, but also in loving others as yourself, And as such, just as Jesus Christ brought forth a new way, where certain commands given to the Israelites were done away with in his new covenant, So in likewise manner has the permissibility of the Israelites to lend to foreigners at interest has also been done away with, since the new way brought forth by Jesus Christ is to lend without expectation of repayment. And as such, whoever lends at interest to anyone commits an abominable sin, And not only him who gives at interest, but also he who takes money at usury commits an abomination, as unlike lending at interest, usury is an unjust gain of money that is not earned as a hired laborer, Nor money earned by renting a property or possession, Nor money earned by selling a property or possession, But is money that is unjustly gained from various forms of usury, such as gambling, lotteries, stocks, insurances, pensions, annuities, all of which are evil financial instruments for the greedy to take money to then have a profit of money predicated on chance and time. And as such, whoever participates in any of these forms of usury are as guilty of an abominable sin as any who runs them.
  20. Indeed God hardened Pharaoh's heart then to enslave the Israelites and thus fulfill what he himself intended to do, And God also hardened Pharaoh's heart as to cause him to not listen to Moses and Aaron, So that God may demonstrate his power and wonders against Egypt, God is the one who hardens the heart, or opens understanding. Pharaoh was an example of the full control God exerts even over the hearts of man.
  21. God caused Pharaoh to not let the Israelites go by hardening his heart. That is individual.
  22. The potter himself makes makes the pot for common use or for special purposes, the pot doesn't just spring forth on its own and makes itself what it wants to be. Is it so difficult to come to understanding of what is clearly taught in scripture? True is this prophecy, not just for the Jews to whom even the Law and the prophets was given, but also to anyone that does not come to understanding in this matter, even though it is taught as plain as day in scripture,
  23. Because he will judge man by the choices he appointed them to make. And as such, by those choices that God has appointed them to make, can he then demonstrate his wrath and punishment of choices he has deemed evil.
