It's clear in the bible the waters was divided and the waters below is where the dryland appeared thus called earth and earth's seas is the water below. Yes it is known that God was hovering over the waters in which earth was separated and formed with dryland and seas. The reason earth was formless and void, the less used wording is a better translation because earth had no dryland or seas. Two things created to give earth form and purpose. In the beginning earth was of the waters with no seas or dryland.

If earth was restored what was earth before the retore? It would mean was similar to now. And way before God commanded such things. I don’t think God named earth twice and that's what your implying. God created the earth then it became a wasteland so God had to rename it earth again later on when the dryland was uncovered. God is always working and man cannot work 7 days a week he would die without rest.

Isaiah is saying the completed earth was not created to be uninhabitable like other planets are. The most common use of the word. Doesn't equal a fact that verse 2 was supposed to be the common version. The fact is you desperately want it to be translated as became to fit your narrative. None of the top ten English Bible translations has it as became. Those bible scholars are far more knowledgeable than you. If what your saying was true, Bibles would of presented verse 2 as such, it's not became but was. Good news for you is that every person on earth could be wrong about what happened or not what happened during creation.

The common use of the word doesn't equal a fact. Now if it was used 100% of the time then it could be called a fact. Since became isnt used in all occurrences, it's a interpretation.
