It’s stormy here today. Outside it is below freezing with gusty winds and sleet. Inside it is warm and cozy and peaceful. It reminds me of how the Lord wants us to journey through this life. There are storms in life, they can be brutal but inside we can be at peace. How do I know? Because the Lord said so and He is the Prince of Peace. John 16:33. These things I have spoken to you that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 14:17. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the thoughts I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope.

Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Lamentations 3:24-26 ”The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
