This is a great thought. I think it's easy to pick up on "feel good" preaching where we miss out on this very basic attribute of God. I agree wholeheartedly that I have to fear God first, literally, before I can truly know his mercy and grace. And fear of God makes His amazing grace then even more amazing. It makes me more in awe, more grateful for His love.
