  1. I think this world we live in is actually Hell. Full of temptation, sin, evil beyond limits. The Good Book says life will be filled with trials and tribulations, is it hard to believe we are presently in it? In this material world tell me you do not see truly evil people thrive and prosper while truly good and Godly folks continue to suffer and toil to just be. Just my two bits, JJ

  2. I can understand your feelings my friend, right now the world is a seriously messed up place. We are being prevented from our routines, trips and all things normal to us. It's natural to have feelings of depression and loneliness, and my friend, you are not alone in this regard, trust me. People around us seem to have changed, feelings have been on edge and our confidences rocked.

The good thing is you came to a good place, full of good, caring people who really care and are more than willing to talk when the need strikes you. Whatever you do, don't hole up inside yourself and make it harder on you than it has to be. Come to the site and reach out, folks here will respond to you. Most importantly, talk to your Lord and Savior as He expects us to do in times of strife. I'll keep you in my prayers my friend,

    JJ

  3. I have been suffering severe back injury for 19 yrs now. Along the way it progressively has gotten worse with degenerative disease and osteo-arthritis. Countless therapies, injections and a failed surgery all in vain. I've been praying for healing and strength all the while, and still do, meanwhile awaiting as patiently as I can. Nothing at this point. I don't know the good Lords reason for not granting my prayer and to what purpose it serves, but I remain faithful and reliant on my Savior.

  4. Maybe it's just me friend, but your post appears to come through as judgemental of folks using this site. In fact, most of your posts, that I have read come through in the same manner. I hope it wasn't your intention to come across this way. You do make some interesting observations and make some valid points, just leave judgement to our Lord.

Pandemic + unemployment + unpaid bills, rents, etc. + eviction notice + social isolation / distancing + businesses closed + racial tension (Asians) + police brutality (blacks) + promotion of  white supremacy = Take cover and pray.

The nations of the Earth stand in bewilderment of what is happening to America.

Promotion of white supremacy? I don't see that takin' place. Your scource??

  6. I'm very happy with my church. It took me some goin' round checkin' things out. I used to go to a cowboy church back east, service was held at random spots of convieniance just to hear the word. I visited many here in Arizona when I came out in 2007, what a change! Out here they own property, an I was seein' politics out the wahzoo! Four years back I visited a Southern Baptist churches mens bible study ( cowboy church had none ) and enjoyed it so much I decided to check out their services. I had finally left church feelin' fed the word and ended up joinin' the church an bein' baptized. To this day I don't regret my descision, I found a home.

I noticed some young children at the protests.   One little girl was six, clutching her mother's side as a reporter interviewed her mother.   I thought the child looked rather scared to be there.   The reporter held a microphone to the little girl, and asked to see her sign.   The little girl didn't respond, and just kept clutching her mother's dress.   I thought it was very unwise of the mother to subject her young child to the mayhem.

But just now on the news, I saw a four year old girl at the protests!   And the four year old girl told the reporter, "No justice, no peace!" I can hardly believe some of this stuff.

This is a very shameful and evil thing to do!

  8. There are powers that be using these unfortunate/terrible incidenses to brake down our society to bring about a one world order. Complete chaos would only make this goal easier to achieve and this is exactly what we are dealing with today. If disbandin' police forces becomes mainstream, God help us all.

OK. Here is my two bits.. I think people lying on the ground prostate or bowed down to a mob seem less than brave and upstanding.

I'm thinkin' ya misread me, ;however, I agree with ya there.

For many days I have watched how Covid-19 social distancing and stay at home suggestions have been completely ignored while people gather for both the protesting and late night rioting.  I began to wonder if we will begin to see a spike of new cases in a week or two because of this disregard for covid-19 warnings?

I believe it will make a big effect on the virus spread. These mostly violent protests are nothin' but servicin' personal desire and at the risk of others.

People should only 'bow the knee' to God. Today, we see people bowing the knee to all sorts of things such as protests against police. I wonder if any Christians are among them?

Takin' a knee has been a sign of respect and submission for a long time. Do I think folks these bow to a lot...yep, sure do. I believe these days it is up to a man/woman to use their own judgement based on morals. It will be God makin' the final decision in the end. hope this makes sense to ya.

Exwife admitted a  serious and deliberate sin to me yesterday in front of the children. Today she asked me to keep it quiet and not share it with my friends, family or online.

I said "I hear you" but I never said yes to her request.

I'm torn whether to honor her request.  The marriage is over due to her sin and it  is doubtful for repair due to her  serious new flame.

Brother, all I can say is that it depends on the topic of it all. Forgiveness is a Christian move but so is admitting your wrong. Concerning the little ones is touchy, depending on what your talking about. Think on it and pray on it, I'll be praying with ya brother.

  13. What happened to Floyd was tragic, however he was a career criminal breaking the law, resisting arrest. I f he wouldn't have been committing a crime, this would not have taken place. Floyd is not a martyr, only an example of what may happen if you seek a career as a criminal.
