  1. But THAT isn't what is written. Why would GOD NOT use YOUR WORDS if that is INDEED, what HE meant, INSTEAD of USING the words HE DID? the graves were opened... It is used in the New Testament to describe both physical and spiritual awakenings. This includes the literal raising of individuals from sleep or death, as well as metaphorical awakenings, such as spiritual revival or enlightenment. The term is often associated with the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the future resurrection of believers. having gone forth... 2. Victory didn't take place until 380. How was Rome divided 'symbolically' into 10 at that time? Are you saying that is when heaven opened and the armies of heaven came down or did they come down previous? Do you really think since that time Christ has been ruling with a rod of iron? If Christ as KING OF KINGS 'returned' at that time then HOW ON EARTH HAVE all the wars been taking place? Is that how you see HIS RULE going? Not only doesn't what you say fit with what is written, it doesn't even fit with profane/human history, so it makes no sense whatsoever to me. I can't make heads or tails of it. In which way has Rome or 'the Church' claimed to BE Christ and if it is truth then WHY ISN'T IT IN JERUSALEM? And where is all the evil we see in the world today coming from? The Rider on the White Horse 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He himself. 13And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. Which 'beast' was taken? Who was the false prophet? What miracles did he perform? Who was deceived? Where did the lake of fire go? How did the remnant escape at the beginning? How were they found out after? If ALL THESE things are in the PAST then explaining them with who what where when and why, should be easy. If they are 'symbolic' please explain of what
  3. That would be sheer confusion, with it being written like this 50Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. And all the prophecies that speak to the graves being opened and/or those who slept/sleep rising up don't speak to that kind of belief...have you ever studied any of these? John 5:25 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. And at the 2nd Advent, the beginning of the Lords Day, the dead who resurrect will have the chance to either get their name in the book of life or go into lake of fire Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah Psalms 49:15 Isaiah 26:19 - Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Daniel 12:2 - And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Hosea 13:14 - I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
  4. Why else would some of the 'dead' rise at Christs return and others not? How else would the DEAD get their names written in the book of life for the GWTJ if they didn't rise for the 1000 years? Who would Christ rule and reign over if not the 'dead'? How would they remain "dead" for the 1000yrs if it wasn't a 'spiritually' dead (knowing those who returned with Him and those who were alive and remaining were already SAVED/made alive and will be sitting on His throne with Him). How else would Gods wish that all come to repentance be accomplished, if many many many never heard? Why DO some of the dead rise while other have to wait until the end of the Lords Day/millennium to be resurrected for the GWTJ? Could it be because some of them 'chose poorly' when they had the opportunity choosing death and the ways of this world rather than eternal LIFE while in their flesh and blood bodies... while others never even knew a choice was being given? In the end, for me at least, it comes down to, if I am going to err in any way, it is going to be on the side of MERCY and in favor of 'what is written' every time. 1Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. I take into consideration that DEATH is bound in the abyss for the Lords Day and the only real mention of death comes at the end at the GWTJ and that is the 2nd death...and we know the only 'flesh' saved is the elects (time shortened) and we know it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment...put that with...And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.... and well, you get the picture, hopefully, even if you don't agree. But anytime you want to 'prove' your belief by what is written, I'll be here and we will figure out what is and what isn't...starting with who is resurrected when Christ returns...being those who OBVIOUSLY didn't know the Way, the LIFE and the Resurrection when they died the first death or else they would have FOLLOWED HIM at that time, wouldn't they?
  5. I am saying that all those in the place of the DEAD when Jesus descended, (penalty for sin is death) when hearing the GOOD NEWS believed and repented/chose LIFE, ascended to heaven because the blood of the Lamb washes us clean and no longer having any sin could no longer be held there. The ransom was paid.
  6. "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:" Luke 1:32 KJV which by the way, is on the earth "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." Revelation 3:21 KJV Acts 1:11 who also said, Men, Galileans, why do you stand looking into heaven? THIS JESUS, having been taken up from you into heaven, thus will come in that manner you beheld Him going into heaven 1{A Psalm of David.} The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 2The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. 3Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. 4The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. 5The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. 6He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. 7He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head. Daniel 2 44And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. Mark 12:35 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David? 36For David himself said by the Holy Spirit, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. 37David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.
  7. Matt 27 50Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. Not one of those were raised up from the dead at that time, ever fell under the name 'Christian' before they went into the grave. ALL of them would fall under the OLD COVENANT and/or under the penalty of sin addressed in John 11 25Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and in the OLD TEST PROPHECIES that had to be fulfilled then and couldn't be postponed untill later because 17And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written, 18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 20And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. (Having spoken to the OLD COVENANT, He went on with LIFE under the NEW about to be put forth for the 'Christians' 26And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this?) (and why the 'dead in Christ' are THE DEAD in the place of the dead, waiting be resurrected AT HIS RETURN and THEY ARE NOT those who had been made alive, who had already passed from death to life and who instead FOLLOWED HIM to be where He is, to the place He WENT to prepare for us,...where He sits at the right hand of Gods THRONE in heaven (till New Heaven and Earth) and the judgment seat of Christ so that we can return in His army and sit upon the thrones ON EARTH when He returns) 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. 9(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) So, the kingdom of God consists of ALL NATIONS Rev 7 1And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
  8. Don't see how we can't...even in just a little study as to the WORD 'throne' makes it clear, that is, if we believe what is written as it is simply written. "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:" Luke 1:32 KJV "Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;" Acts 2:30 KJV "Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;" Hebrews 8:1 KJV "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2 KJV "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." Revelation 3:21 KJV "And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne." Revelation 4:2 KJV "And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals." Revelation 5:1 KJV "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth." Revelation 5:6 KJV "And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne." Revelation 5:7 KJV "And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever." Revelation 5:13 KJV "And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:" Revelation 6:16 KJV "And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb." Revelation 7:10 KJV "For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes." Revelation 7:17 KJV "And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne." Revelation 12:5 KJV then, in the NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH "And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb." Revelation 22:1 KJV
  9. Hope you don't mind me using the post above to show the difference in our beliefs, if so, let me know and I will certainly change it... 1. The First Resurrection DOES NOT occur during the Second Coming as it is a TYPE of 'resurrection' and not a specific 'Day' of resurrection (unless you are one of 'the dead' who did not have their name written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. The resurrection OF THE DEAD does come on a specific day, the day when Christ returns and Satan gets chained and tossed into the abyss for 1000 years). The FIRST type resurrection took place long ago and is only for those who won't have to stand at the GWTJ to face the 2nd death, and would include Enoch Elijah Moses Noah Abraham along with all those found perfect and/or in faith 'under the law', so no penalty of death imposed. True, their natural body dies the death of Adam (flesh and blood death) but they never see DEATH and/or the PLACE of THE DEAD. Their flesh and blood bodies are buried, while they in their spiritual bodies, live on having been made alive in Christ. They never descended to hell, not in spirit, not in spiritual body, not in anyway, but instead they ASCENDED having been transformed or transfigured. First resurrections continue and under the New Covenant, at the end of the FIRST ADVENT many more first resurrections take place, the FIRST ONE to be raised up from amongst THE DEAD/the place of the dead is CHRIST JESUS and not only Him but the rest of the firstfruits, both of Israel and of all the other nations, all those to whom HE preached THE GOOD NEWS, and upon hearing it they BELIEVED, and so ascended when He did, never to face the 2nd death... the ransom having been paid, the release effected... 12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. From that point on, 'first' resurrections will continue to take place until THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS returns at the 2nd Advent and the ALIVE AND REMAINING are changed. WHO is going to be resurrected when Christ returns? THE DEAD/THE DEAD IN CHRIST which would be THE NOT YET SAVED/THE NOT BORN OF THE SPIRIT/THE NOT MADE ALIVE/THOSE WHO WERE DECEIVED/THOSE WHO FELL BACK/CHOSE THE WAYS OF THE WORLD, ETC. 21Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come. 22Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. 23And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. 24I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Who isn't mentioned as being resurrected when He returns? The LIVING, those who have been saved from death, those who 'never die'/who never went to the place of the dead, nor is there any mention of any of their SPIRITUAL BODIES 'left behind' being resurrected for the alive in Christ. Why not? Because they ALREADY followed Him, they knew the way, they knew the LIFE, the way to the place He went to prepare for them, 'the mansion', and He comes to them and to the Father in Heaven brings them and since they are ALREADY in spiritual bodies BEFORE EVEN LEAVING HEAVEN, having been raised in glory and power IN LIKE MANNER AS HIM and having already stood at the judgment seat of Christ, they will be returning with Him in His army to sit upon thrones ON EARTH, not to get 'some body' from the corruption of the corrupt earth. So, at the 2nd Advent, once the alive and remaining have been changed, THERE will be no MORE FIRST RESURRECTIONS. That is when 2. the 1000-year chaining of haSatan in the bottomless pit begins, 3. the first 1,000 years of His reign while haSatan is chained while He shall "REIGN, till he hath put all enemies under his feet," 4. the release of haSatan from the bottomless pit at the end of the 1,000 years, 5. the Fire falls upon the army of haSatan. then 7. the Great White Throne Judgment itself, where THE DEAD who were resurrected at Christs return, aka THE DEAD IN CHRIST, will now face the GWTJ and the 2nd death. 11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. NOW COMES the time of the FINAL resurrection... 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Are Christians to be judged ACCORDING TO WORKS or is it of faith? 9. God REFRESHES the earth into the New Earth, and the HEAVEN into the New HEAVEN, 10. the New Jerusalem descends to the New Earth and lands upon it. What is GODS WILL? That ALL come to repentance. If 'the dead' weren't resurrected for the Lords Day, they couldn't get their names put into the book of life through their works. All those who died never having heard the words of GOD would never have a chance to come to repentance. "The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is." Revelation 17:8 KJV "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." Revelation 20:12 KJV 24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the …
  10. Let's see if I have this right...all the words like this I am to just disregard as having no literal truth what so ever, even though it is put forth that way. 1And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. The Witnesses Killed and Raised 7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. So, ARE WE to be as sheep to the wolves, or does fire come out of our mouths and devour our enemies? Are we clothed in 'sackcloth' that is just not visible to anyone? When do we put it on? Why is the number of days given as 1260, if it is not in fact even close to that number and why give a number so VERY close to the 42 months? When did this 'beast' rise up? While Jesus walked the earth or before? Wasn't Rome the ruler of the world at the time? Who were/are the other heads? Which ONE of the heads was wounded? Why is the time shortened 'or else no flesh shall be saved' if in fact 'the body of Christ' is killed and lies dead in the street...and WHO would that leave 'alive and remaining' to be 'changed' at Christs return?
  11. Rev 20 IS the Millennial Kingdom, the ETERNAL Kingdom of God and the Lamb isn't found until Rev 22. 1.) Physical Earthly Kingdom - He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David Luke 1:32 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne Acts 2:30 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne Revelation 3:21 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands Revelation 7:9 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel Matthew 19:28 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory Matthew 25:31 1And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, 2And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; 3That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. 4If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: 5And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. Deuteronomy 30 1Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. 6Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. 9Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. 10Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. 11Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. Psalms 2 1O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. 2Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. 3Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. 4For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. 5For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. 6Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. 7Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. 8Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. 9O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. 10Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. 11Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. 12Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice 13Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth. 935 bo: To come, to go, to enter 1{A Psalm of David.} The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 1Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, 2As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! 3When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence. 4For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. 5Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved. 6But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. 7And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. 8But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. 9Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people. 10Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. 11Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste. 12Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore? I would need you to DISCREDIT all these, showing where they DON'T speak to a PHYSICAL KINGDOM ON EARTH and if/when you accomplish that, happily move on to more Physical Mortal Humans? NOT a chance. Physical Mortal Spiritual Beings/Angels still FACING the 2nd DEATH (aka 'the dead') at the GWTJ, ABSOLUTELY 11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. This leaves no one in a flesh and blood 'human' body....but does leave spiritually dead beings facing the 2nd death able to RISE in a spiritual body 17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. Along with the flesh that melts off the bodies at His return add to those the fact that 'flesh and blood' cannot inherit and remember that those who come to faith and belief while they are STILL LIVING NEVER DIE, being made ALIVE IN CHRIST and then, if at all possible, read what is written and take what is written AS WHAT GOD MEANS... . 50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Not the 'living', not the 'alive in Christ' but THE DEAD or THE DEAD in Christ. Either way THEY ARE THE DEAD. John 11:25Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? Those words SPOKEN BY JESUS makes it IMPOSSIBLE for anyone under the NEW COVENANT to EVER BE CALLED and/or referred to as one of THE DEAD. Those who LIVETH AND BELIEVETH FOLLOW HIM...THEY DON'T WAIT FOR HIS 2ND ADVENT, THEY RETURN WITH HIM/HE BRINGS THEM WITH HIM WHEN HE RETURNS... 36Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. 37Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. 38Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice. 1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. The Way, the Truth, and the Life 5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
  12. Are all the nations gathered in the NEW HEAVEN and NEW EARTH or during the Lords Day? Is the city taken and the houses rifled and women ravished in the NEW HEAVEN and NEW EARTH or during the Lords Day? Does half the city go forth into captivity IN THE NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH or during the Lords Day? Does the GWTJ take place during the Lords day or in the New Heaven and New Earth? Because THIS is how it is given... 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. 1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. ALL the things written of that day HAVE TO TAKE PLACE AT SOME TIME. If the coming of Christ is THE END as you put, then they would all have to take place IN THE NEW and that is shown to be IMPOSSIBLE because NONE of those things will still EXIST being of the FORMER THINGS that are passed away. You can give verses and try to give 'meaning' to them but in the end THE WHOLE STORY has to work and without a LORDS DAY/1000 years/millennium that comes BEFORE the NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH ALL the FORMER THINGS written of CAN'T take place. GODS two witnesses walk the earth and stop the rain and turn water to blood FOR A SPECIFIC amount of days Satan and angels are kicked out of heaven and are given A SPECIFIC amount of time and perform lying signs and wonders and deceives the whole world Christ returns AFTER those events when everyone dies the first death or are caught up to Him, the FIRST BATTLE takes place, Armageddon it is AT THAT TIME that Satan is bound for 1000 years the time in which Christ rules with a rod of iron ON HIS THRONE on earth having left heaven so no longer at the right hand of GOD on GODS THRONE... then Satan loosed for short season ending with Gog and Magog destruction by GOD a short time later then the GWTJ then COMES the new heaven and new earth IN WHICH THE FORMER THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY meaning NONE of those things take place during that time/age.
  13. 8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. IF as you put it 'THE END' is immediate and begins the New Heaven and Earth, then there would be NO CHANCE for anyone to come to repentance, would there? WHEN would Christ sit upon HIS THRONE (the throne of David, an earthly throne) for the 1000 years? When would He rule with a rod of iron? What would be the point of being of the FIRST resurrection? Remember, it is only AFTER speaking to 'how long' a day will be/is do we read 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. So those things will take place DURING during the thousand years.... God is not trying to confuse us by telling us there will be 1000 years when in fact it would only be 1000 seconds...what would be the point? I believe it is written in a straightforward, plain and simple manner. I believe that is how we are to take it AND when we do, all the things we read about taking place DURING THAT DAY are easy to understand. Without the LITERAL 1000 years, the Bible doesn't make sense. IF I were to stand before GOD and He asked me this question - Why did you believe the Lords Day was a thousand years? I would begin by POINTING to HIS WORDS just as they are written. I believe the Lords day was to be 1000 years because of what You had written in 2 Peter 3:8 - 10. 'new' in verse 13 of that same chapter is kainos - used to describe something that is new in nature, different from the usual, better than the old, or unprecedented. It often implies a qualitative newness, emphasizing the freshness or uniqueness of the object or concept it describes. kainos is frequently used to convey the transformative and renewing work of God through Jesus Christ, highlighting the new covenant, new creation, and new life believers have in Him. When we are MADE A NEW CREATURE, in 2 Corinth 5 14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 16Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. I would add to that, I believed it to be a literal 1000 years because of what You had written in Rev 20 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 7 7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, Strong's Lexicon 5055 - teleó - To complete, to finish, to fulfill, to accomplish. conveys a sense of reaching a desired end or fulfilling a purpose, often with a connotation of perfection or completeness.
  14. Ok, maybe you could give it to me in a manner along the lines of this I believe the first half of the final week begins when there will be a system of power rise up on earth under the direct influence of 'the beast' that consists of .......I believe it will almost come to control the whole world when the two witnesses OF GOD will be sent to earth 1 I believe they will be the cause of the deadly wound to one of the 'heads' in that system when it happens, it seems as if the whole world is doomed to fall into utter chaos 1 I believe that is when the war in heaven ends and there is silence for a half hour, when Satan AS A SUPER NATURAL BEING (able to perform miracles aka great signs and wonders), is cast down to the earth with his angels to heal the deadly wound. I believe either he himself will be or he will be in direct control of 'the false prophet'. I believe that is when the 2nd half of the final week begins and the 'covenant' with many takes place and all that is written of those days takes place 2 I believe Christ returns after those workings of Satan. I believe Satan will stand where he ought not and will have the two witnesses killed leaving them to lie dead in the streets for 3 1/2 days. 2 I believe it is at this point in time that the SPIRITUAL WORLD is opened up to the eyes and ears of every living being on the earth and under the earth when the voice is heard and the two witnesses will rise up, coinciding with Christs return as KING of KINGS and LORD OF LORDS... 3 I believe it is during those events that Satan is cast into the abyss for the 1000 years aka the Lords Day. I believe it is at that time Christs feet will touch the Mount....4 I believe Satan will be sealed in that abyss 1000 years 3 I believe at the end of the 1000 years, Satan will be loosed from the abyss for a short time that will end with GOD DESTROYING Gog and Magog...5 I believe that begins the GWTJ when all the DEAD face the 2nd death. 5 I believe once that concludes there will be the beginning of a new era/time, a new beginning that begins with a NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH (actually this heaven and earth restored to new, all past forgotten) found in Rev 21 Super easy, put forth the belief, follow with the Scripture that states that belief as follows 1 Rev 13 1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. Rev 11 1And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. Rev 13 3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 2 2 Thess 2 1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 3 Rev 11 7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. Rev 19 11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Rev 20 1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 4 Zech 14 1Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. 6And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. 8And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. 9And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. 10All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. 11And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. 12And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. 13And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour. 14And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. 15And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague. All Nations will Worship the King 16And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. 17And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. 18And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 19This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 20In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar. 21Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts. 5 Rev 20 7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. The Final Judgment 11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
  15. How did you conclude a 'kingdom beginning operations', from 'a single son who will rule with a rod of iron who is caught up to the thone of God'? It's barely been 2000 years since Jesus was born. Are you saying 'the grand opening' of this kingdom you speak to, happened within the last 25 years? Could you give me the Scriptures you are using to put this forth? I really need them to help me figure out what you are saying.
  16. thoughts on 14And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Rev 12 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. as to his EVIL SPIRIT (as opposed to him and the angels being cast out of heaven) and influence...what happened after the Cross? The Book with Seven Seals 1And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 3And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. 4And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. The Lamb is Worthy 5And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. The seals ARE LOOSED...the book tells us what will take place and why from that point on... The First Seal: Rider on a White Horse 1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. All that follow takes place because of his evil spirit going forth, yes? Message to the Church in Smyrna 8And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; 9I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. 11He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." 1 John 2:18 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Matthew 24:24 - For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 2 Thess For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders As the Holy Spirit leads and guides us, an evil spirit does them...to THIS DAY. How do these work in your belief? Just saw this reply and willl have to get to the rest later on today.
  17. How you can make that statement is well beyond me. Here is what I READ...and the Greek words used... 4 And the tail of him drags a third of the stars of heaven and he cast them to the earth And the dragon stands before the woman being about to bring forth so that when she should bring forth, the child of her he might devour What does that 'STANDS' look like? 18. This far, for most of them Isaiah 28... 9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. And since they didn't learn it that way, they didn't teach it that way but they did the here a little there a little instead...and didn't bother with the schoolteacher, so... 13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. The direct cause of 20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before. 20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
  19. I have a real problem with this, is it misleading? Hopefully you can persuade me to see it as you do, if it be GODS TRUTH. Where do I find I must forgive my enemies if they do not ask for it, if they are not repentant, if it brings them joy to hurt one of Gods sheep because they are evil? So, who is your brother/brethren? Aren't they those of His seed, or brother of the womb, even a good samaritan...is there anyone called 'a brother' who is of the evil one? 21Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Matthew 18:21 24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Here the context is of tresspasses, isn't it? Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. Luke 17:3 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. Luke 17:4 Who was 'forgiven' without any repentance and asking? (excepting, of course, we who have been 'saved' through faith and do not go to hell because of one sin, being under the blood of the Lamb ect.) 29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? 30And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. 33But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 34And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. 36Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise. To ME and my understanding, taking a Christian and telling them if they don't forgive the most evil wicked vile human that has no remorse whatsoever who may have just destroyed their lives or THEY can't be saved is almost just as bad as the one who committed the crime because on the ONE hand, they are as 'sheep to the slaughter' knowing GOD will get vengeance... while the other turns THEM into the sinner with nothing but GUILT and the questing of 'who they are' because they CAN'T forgive an EVIL that GOD will will get vengeance for when they have, in every other way, been practicing righteousness 9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. 3900 paráptōma (from 3895 /parapíptō, see there) – properly, fall away after being close-beside, i.e. a lapse (deviation) from the truth; an error, "slip up"; wrong doing that can be (relatively) unconscious, "non-deliberate." 20. Never mind...I found it. Sorry
  21. Hi Kwik! Long time, pray all is going well with you. You lost me here. Is this in the right place?
  22. I do. Always helps when praying to pray to the right 'station' of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. I found this online for you from the Companion bible. I haven't studied it as to how accurate it all is but I am thinking it is a great place to start...hope it helps THE DIVINE NAMES AND TITLES. Elohim occurs 2.700 times. Its first occurrence connects it with creation, and give it its essential meaning as the Creator. It indicates His relation to mankind as His creatures (see note on 2 Chron. 18:31, where it stands in contrast with Jehovah as indicating covenant relationship). 'Elohim is God the Son, the living "WORD" with creature form to create (John 1:1. Col. 1:15-17. Rev. 3:14); and later, with human form to redeem (John 1:14). "Begotten of His Father before all worlds; born of His mother, in the world." In this creature form He appeared to the Patriarchs, a form not temporarily assumed. 'Elohim is indicated (as in A.V.) by ordinary small type, "God". See table on page 7. Jehovah. While Elohim is God as the Creator of all things, Jehovah is the same God in covenant relation to those whom He has created (Cp. 2Chron. 18:31). Jehovah means the Eternal, the Immutable One, He Who WAS, and IS, and IS TO COME. The Divine definition is given in Gen. 21:33. He is especially, therefore, the God of Israel; and the God of those who are redeemed, and are thus now "in Christ". We can say "My God," but not "My Jehovah", for Jehovah is "MY God." Jehovah is indicated (as in A.V.) by small capital letters, "LORD"' and by "GOD" when it occurs in combination with Adonai, in which case LORD GOD = Adonai Jehovah. The name Jehovah is combined with ten other words, which form what are known as "the Jehovah Titles." in the Hebrew Canon (Ap. 1). All are noted in the margin, in all their occurrences:-- JEHOVAH-JIREH = Jehovah will see, or provide. Gen. 22:14. JEHOVAH-ROPHEKA = Jehovah that healeth thee. Ex. 15:26. JEHOVAH-NISSI = Jehovah my banner. Ex. 17:15. JEHOVAH-MeKADDISHKEM = Jehovah that doth sanctify you. Ex. 31:13. Lev. 20:8; 21:8; 22:32. Ezek. 20:12. JEHOVAH-SHALOM = Jehovah [send] peace. Judg. 6:24. JEHOVAH-ZeBA'OTH = Jehovah of hosts. 1Sam. 1:3, and frequently. JEHOVAH-ZIDKENU = Jehovah our righteousness. Jer. 23:6; 33:16. JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH = Jehovah is there. Ezek. 48:35. JEHOVAH-ELYON = Jehovah most high. Ps. 7:17; 47:2; 97:9. JEHOVAH-RO'I = Jehovah my Shepherd. Ps. 23:1. We have seven of these, experimentally referred to, in Ps. 23, inasmuch as Jehovah, the "Good," "Great," and "Chief Shepherd," is engaged, in all the perfection of His attributes, on behalf of His sheep:-- In verse 1, we have No. 1 above. In verse 2, we have No. 5. In verse 3, we have Nos. 2 and 7. In verse 4, we have No. 8. In verse 5, we have Nos. 3 and 4. Jah is Jehovah in a special sense and relation. Jehovah as having BECOME our Salvation (first occ. Ex. 15:2), He Who IS, and WAS, and IS TO COME. It occurs 49 times (7 x 7. See Ap. 10). Compare Psalm 68. 4, 18. EL is essentially the Almighty, thought the word is never so rendered (see below, "Shaddai"). EL is Elohim in all His strength and power. It is rendered "God" as Elohim is, but El is God the Omnipotent. Elohim is God the Creator putting His omnipotence into operation. Eloah (see below) is God Who wills and orders all, and Who is to be the one object of the worship of His people. El is the God Who knows all (first occ. Gen. 14:18:22) and sees all (Gen. 16:13) and that performeth all things for His people (Ps. 57:2); and in Whom all the Divine attributes are concentrated. El is indicated in this edition by type in large capital letters, thus: "GOD." It is sometimes transliterated in proper names Immanue-'el, Beth-'el, &c., where it is translated, as explained in the margin. Eloah is Elohim, Who is to be worshipped. Eloah is God in connection with His Will rather than His power. The first occurrence associates this name with worship (Deut. 32:15, 17). Hence it is the title used whenever the contrast (latent or expressed) is with false gods or idols. Eloah is essentially "the living God" in contrast to inanimate idols. Eloah is rendered "God", but we have indicated it by type thus: GOD. Elyon first occurs in Gen. 14:18 with El, and is rendered "the most high (God)". It is El and Elohim, not as the powerful Creator, but as "the possessor of heaven and earth." Hence the name is associated with Christ as the Son of "the Highest" (Luke 1:35). It is Elyon, as possessor of the earth, Who divides the nations "their inheritance". In Ps. 83:18, He is "over all the earth". The title occurs 36 times (6 x 6 or 62 See Ap. 10). Elyon is the Dispenser of God's blessings in the earth; the blessings proceeding from a Priest Who is a King upon His throne (cp. Gen. 14:18-22 with Zech. 6:13; 14:9). Shaddai is in every instance translated "Almighty", and is indicated by small capital letters ("ALMIGHTY"). It is God (El), not as the source of strength, but of grace; not as Creator, but as the Giver. Shaddai is the All-bountiful. This title does not refer to His creative power, but to His power to supply all the needs of His people. Its first occurrence is in Gen. 17:1, and is used to show Abraham that He Who called him out to walk alone before Him could supply all his need. Even so it is the title used in 2Cor. 6:18, where we are cal 1000 led to "come out" in separation from the world. It is always used in connection with El (see above). Adon is one of the three titles (ADON, ADONAI, and ADONIM), all generally rendered "Lord"; but each has its own peculiar usage and association. They all denote headship in various aspects. They have to do with God as "over-lord." Adon is the Lord as Ruler in the earth. We have indicated this in type by printing the preceding article or pronouns in small capitals, not because either are to be emphasized, but to distinguish the word "Lord" from Adonai, which is always so printed in the A.V. Adonai is the Lord in His relation to the earth; and as carrying out His purposes of blessing in the earth. With this limitation it is almost equivalent to Jehovah. Indeed, it was from an early date so used, by associating the vowel points of the word Jehovah with Adon, thus converting Adon into Adonai. A list of 134 passages where this was deliberately done is preserved and given in the Massorah (107-115). (See Ap. 32) We have indicated these by printing the word like Jehovah, putting an asterisk, thus: LORD*. Adonim is the plural of Adon, never used of man. Adonim carries with it all that Adon does, but in a greater and higher degree; and more especially as owner and proprietor. An Adon may rule others who do not belong to him. Hence (without the article) it is often used of men. But Adonim is the Lord Who rules His own. We have indicated it by type, thus: LORD. The three may be thus briefly distinguished:-- Adon is the Lord as overlord or ruler. Adonim is the Lord as owner. Adonai is the Lord as blesser. The Types used to indicate the above titles, in the text, are as follows:-- God = Elohim. GOD = Jehovah (in combination with Adonai, "Lord"). GOD* = Jehovah in the Primitive Texts, altered by Sopherim to Elohim as the Printed Text. (See Ap. 32.) GOD = El. GOD = Eloah. LORD = Jehovah. THE LORD = Jah. LORD* = Jehovah in the Primitive Texts, altered by Sopherim to Adonai as in the Printed Text. (See Ap. 32.) Lord = Adonai. LORD = Adonim. ALMIGHTY = Shaddai. MOST HIGH = Elyon. The Combinations are indicated as follows:-- Adonai Jehovah = Lord GOD. Jehovah Elohim = LORD God. Elyon El = MOST HIGH GOD. El Shaddai = GOD ALMIGHTY.
  23. I agree, he has been greatly hindered and we are told when that took place and what it meant but there were no 'chains' mentioned, and I have not been able to find any mention of his being 'chained' at anytime BEFORE Christs return as LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS...where would I read of this taking place? Gen 3 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Wasn't the reason those who called themselves Jews (but were not) WANTED Jesus killed was because His speaking GODS WORDS was being rooted en masse amongst the people hearing him (and not just those who truly were the Jews of the tribe of Judah, but gentiles alike) which would soon have left them without anyone to rule over? Isn't the 'body of Christ' supposed to be the way to both spread and protect the TRUTH found in the words of God? The Holy Spirit is given us to lead and guide in the ways of God while we walk in the flesh, agreed, but even before the day of Pentacost and the 'cloven' tongue Jesus said 17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. I believe Satan works hardest in the churches today through the traditions, theories, doctrines and the wisdom of men... anything to stop GODS WORDS as they are written from being taught. 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. The thread is named "Christ's kingdom will never be physically on this earth". A couple questions as to how that 'works' with these things written... Zech 1 12 Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years? 13And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words. 14So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy. 15And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction. 16Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem. 17Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. 8 1Again the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying, 2Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury. 3Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain. 132 1A Song of degrees. LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions: 2How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; 3Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; 4I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, 5Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob. 6Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood. 7We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool. 8Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength. 9Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy. 10For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed. 11The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. 12If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore. 13For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. 14This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. 15I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. 16I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. 17There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed. 18His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish. Joel 11Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. 12Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. 13Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. 14Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. 15The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. 16The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. 17So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more. 18And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim. 19Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land. 20But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. 21For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.
  24. 10And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. 12And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. And what will that 'battle' look like? We are told in Rev 19 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet 17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. We CAN NOT be in the war of Armaggedon because we have not lived in a world in which EVERYONE is being deceived by ANYONE performing MIRACLES and all the rest that come before that. None of the other BOWLS have been dumped out. There is an ORDER to the things GOD gives us, and we are not free to change them. The Seventh Bowl of Wrath 17And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
  25. Not from 'a wise Bible teacher' but just the words of God themselves... 1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. Satan WAS in heaven, as told in Eze 28 11Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 12Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. If we continue it tells us 'the iniquity' that caused 4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. That 'BEGINNING' took place IN HEAVEN and although 'similar' to what is coming at the end of this age, aka "1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
