In my experience, even before coming to understand Yah and His truth in Scriptures..Asking questions related to the topic allows the person to more easily and reasonably accept and reason, rather than to immediately reject, which allows them to think about it. This can break up the views they have been taught. Being direct, which I was, to an unfortunate fault, can and often does bring offense. Then the person no longer receives or hears the message.
