  1. So where in chap 6 does it say God brings them there before they repent?
  2. Except I see nothing in Eze 39 that says God gathered them before He gathers them after they repent. Don't pretend it is me 'not believing'. It is you running on empty! Show the verse in Eze 39 that says God gathers them in Israel before that time when He returns to save the repented people? One verse!?
  3. No. I wsee nothing that makes this end of the world at all. The commentaries I looked at suggest no such thing either. Example: "The judgments Ezekiel 5:12-17 of “famine, pestilence,” and the “sword,” were precisely those which attended the coming siege of Jerusalem" https://www.studylight.org/commentaries/eng/bnb/ezekiel-5.html#verse-12 Nor have you showed any part of that chapter to be end of the world era! Wishful thinking does not cut it. Work on that.
  4. Eze 5 is history not prophesy of the end time. Or did you think otherwise?? Isa 11 is dealing with that day. That period when the lion shall lay down with the lamb etc. Surely you do not think that applies to 1948!!?
  5. No you did not. The verses you cited are history except for Jer and that does and could never apply to history. Try getting a verse that deals with the last days, or 'that day' etc. When God brings them back that will be what all the prophesies are about. Show one verse dealing with that time of the end where God brings them back? One single verse? Don't talk about ancient history and what God tended to do etc. There are those who claim God brought them back. One verse please.
  6. Not sure what point you think you have when the verses are history, except for Jer which is future. Just because God has dealt with Israel by judgment in the past does not mean that was the end time. Just because God proves and tries us in the fire sometimes, Christians or Jews in the past, that does not mean it was or is the Great Tribulation. Just because God did judge Israel one time by bringing them somewhere so that they would be dealt with in their sin, does not mean that is what He is doing now! It does not say God brings them back to be wiped out in the end, it just says they will be almost wiped out before they repent, and THEN God brings them back. This was not 1948. You cannot and did not provide a single verse that says otherwise.
  7. He will try them by fire, yes. He knew they would be in that land, yes. The verse you gave was history. That does not mean it is God inspiring them to return themselves to Israel and form some secular state.
  8. Isa 11 is talking about the day when They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord , as the waters cover the sea. That was not 1948 and I see nothing in the verses you offer that is. If you claim there is then show the one verse so we can look at it.
  9. Nothing to do with God restoring Israel to the land in 1948. God works in believers lives. Israel is not a believer. So when we see people saying things like how we need to support that secular nation because God wants us to, I have to question that. So you gave no verse that said any such thing. When GOD brings them back we will know it there will be no possible mistake! Now I seem to recall where God does bring nations somewhere around that time. That would be to fight Israel! He wants them there so that He can wipe them out after Israel repents. He also allows a lot of trouble to come to the nation Israel.
  10. That was not the last day far as I can see. No mention at all of that time or when God restores them etc. Looking at one commentary it points out, in the next chapter, that this was history. Two prostitute sisters (23:1-35) God’s chosen nation was saved from Egypt and settled in Canaan, but it soon divided into two, the northern kingdom Israel (capital: Samaria) and the southern kingdom Judah (capital: Jerusalem). The prophet likens these two kingdoms to two sisters who became prostitutes (23:1-4). The prostitution of Israel and Judah was their unfaithfulness to God in forming military alliances with foreign nations instead of trusting in him. Israel, the northern kingdom, was impressed with the might of Assyria, but in forming an alliance with the superior power she accepted also that country’s gods (5-8). Assyria, having used Israel for its own satisfaction, then savagely attacked and killed her (9-10). Judah failed to learn from Israel’s experience. She too made alliances, first with Assyria and later with Babylon (Chaldea) (11-16). Then, with the feeling of disgust that often follows immorality, Judah turned away from Babylon. Soon she went lusting again, this time seeking the favours of Egypt, hoping for Egyptian aid to fight against Babylon (17-21). https://www.studylight.org/commentaries/eng/bbc/ezekiel-23.html#verse-1 That has nothing to do with God gathering Israel in 1948. You would need to take it out of context.
  11. Why would we think that God brought back unregenerate unsaved rebels to the land? Chapter and verse?
  12. You asked if it was because they had not repented. I said yes and mentioned other things also. There is no possible way you could claim God brought them back and restored them already.
  13. I see nothing happening now that will happen when God restores them. They need to say 'Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord' as Jesus told them first, before they see Him again. They are not really blooming like a rose. Sure the land is better than it was. Not what God was talking about. They are not at peace. They have not had God slay all their enemies. etc.
  14. Chapter and verse? For example, can you say there are really no seals being opened? -- In Matt 24 the tree mainly represents the signs Jesus just spoke about. In Rev 11, it is more than obvious that the men spoken about are not walking trees! They are called olive trees by God to bring out something about these people. Possibly the fact that God is speaking and working right through them. Like the flow of the Spirit running freely. Those men do miracles and get raised from the dead. They call down fire from God to kill evil minions of Satan. No one did that in history. -- That shows that believers who are alive when these thing begin to happen will see the finish also. That is not limited to Israel or Greeks or Jews. Mark 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. The apostles were not the ones it was directed at. In the very next verse He clears that up Matthew 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. r. In the very next verse He clears that up also! Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Why would we confuse the added dimension of the spiritual as imagery only that has no real meaning and as an excuse to divest all prophesy of reality? In other words you do not believe that a third of the grass on earth could really be burned up one day. That is the underlying theme in your approach to prophesy. Unbelief. ---- When something can be taken literally, such as the 2 men who are the 2 witnesses of the end, it is not being deep to pretend they are not 'reallly' men. In fact you miss the deep parts of how they are likened to Olive trees. Then you accuse others of being literalists!? Nowhere is grass confused with a nation. Israel is represented at times by the fig tree. For example Jesus withered the fig tree. Israel was withered after rejecting Him. That does not mean the nation and people are trees literally. That is ridiculous.
  15. They have been gathered but not by God yet. When He does gather them they will have repented. He will wipe out all enemies and etc.
  16. I think Israel will physically be restored in the land. I think God will clobber all their enemies once they repent. I believe it is then that the promises regarding Israel will be fulfilled. They have a lot to go through and many if not most of them will not make it in that time. The ones that do will all repent. All Israel will be saved. The secular nation that has gathered there today is not under the protection of God and God did not destroy all their enemies, and did not bring peace there. Yes, of course He knew they would try to go there on their own rather than wait till He brought them. The prophesies all reflect that He knows a state of Israel will exist in the end over there.
  17. Who says it doesn't? However, the parable of the leaves coming was mainly about the signs and knowing the end was near when we see those signs. Nowhere does it say one of the signs is God restoring Israel! That comes later. That comes when they repent and after the time of Jacob's trouble that gets them ready to repent. One instance earlier in the gospels where it does look like Jesus is talking about Israel is where He dried up the fig tree! That shows that Israel rejected Him and was dried up now. There is no bible support for a claim that Israel being restored is one of the signs of the end. God did not restore Israel yet. Ps 102:15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord , and all the kings of the earth thy glory. We do not see that yet. It is after this as the next verse says Psalms 102:16 When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
  18. Discerning does not mean ignoring what is said six ways from Sunday and also disbelieving it all. That is what waving it away as unreal and spiritual is. Exactly.
  19. That does not mean that God restored Israel! That means that, like a tree with leaves, when we see these things start to happen, the time is near.
  20. Chapter and verse of this fig tree blooming?
  21. Zechariah 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. No great valley formed in 70 AD. The mountain spoken about was not split in two. Trying to spiritualize this is exactly unbelief. 5...and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. The Lord with all the saints did not come then either, obviously. There is no history that says there was no night anymore either. Zechariah 14:7 7 ...But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord , not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. Zechariah 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. Two specific seas into which living waters would go toward. That did not happen in the sacking of Jerusalem in 70AD. And now for the coup de gras. 9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord , and his name one. Look around. The earth still has wicked nations, Jesus has not returned. When He does, in that day, He will be the ruler of all the world.
  22. The bible makes it clear the last king is a man is different places. He also has different titles. The man of sin, etc. He leads the final world government that ends with Jesus returning and Personally killing him. Caesar could not begin to fit the bill. What needs to be understood about when GOD restores Israel is that this is after they repent, and that there will be no mistaking it when it happens.
  23. Why would people flee? To get to safety. When do they do this? Just before He comes. Zechariah 14:5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him His feet shall land on the mount of Olives. That is a real place. A real mountain. Not in Heaven. God gathers the nations to be judged. As the bible says in different places. God will laugh at them. They were very foolish to allow themselves to be deceived into thinking they had any chance against the Almighty. That is before He returns. He returns to slay them. Israel repents and He steps in right away.
  24. Not true. In the same chapter it said His feet would stand on the Mount of Olives! 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east It even points out the mountain is east of Jerusalem to remove any possible doubt. That is on earth not in the sky. More nonsense. The AntiChrist is a man as is the false prophet, that is clear in the bible. They also live in the very last years. You have run out of steam here and do not seem interested in the truth. A time waster.
  25. Revelation 19:15, KJV: "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God." Zec 13 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. 6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. 8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. 9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one. 10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. 11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
