Yes. The world might have a problem if some meteor as big as they claim the Yucatan one was hit the planet. Hailstones a hundred pounds each might create a little friction also.

So when people live 1000 years in the millennium and plants grow fast and spirits live with men on earth and all mountains and islands move, that is just people changing?
-
No. I suspect it will move and rejoining a supercontient, just as it separated probably around the time of Babel Speculation. They will see the abomination placed, so there is no blackout as you imagine at that time You are losing it

That is direct unbelief in what the bible says. The lifespans are given carefully over and over and over and over. Not before and shortly after the flood. False. That was much later. What we read in the bible is not an assumption. Neither was the average life span a miracle generally. You just do not believe. I wonder if you believe men will again live such long lives in the millennium? No I am not. After the garden plants still grew fast, spirits still lived in the world openly and married, and people lived many many centuries. False. You project beliefs on to what we see out in space and everywhere else. It is a great deception that God expects us to reject and believe what He says. The bible does record great differences in nature in the past and the future. Science cannot find out because it is locked into a belief system and totally unable to deal with anything spiritual or about what laws are like in the future or far past. Take that to the bank.

You quoted something about becoming gods. Satan said that. You are trying to attribute it to God. But there is another place in Scripture where it does talk about being as gods. It all depends on context. The devil goading Eve with saying she would be as a god was wrong and evil. The bible pointing out how we were created as high creatures in the image of God and as gods before we fell is good. It shows we need Jesus to regain what was lost. Except man could not handle it. That was why God severely warned them not to eat the fruit. So only in one small way was fallen man like God in almost all ways he was no longer like Him! In fact he was now separated from God and dying physically and dead spiritually.

Jesus told believers to flee in the end when they see a certain event. Believe it or not. Now address the thread issues.
-
Don't think you can stuff your strange doctrines in here rather than address the topic and actual issues. Unless you believe that the moving of all islands and mountains is real, you have nothing more to add here. You disbelieve it. So how can we discuss whether such an event requires a different nature or not?
-
And even more vanity to think they apply to spirits in heaven or anyone in the millennium. Personally it would not surprise me if God changed nature in the tribulation, rendering all nuclear weapons useless because they depend on reactions happening that may only work in this present temporary nature! Hec, some men might go back to using horses and swords etc for awhile, as they try to learn to master and work and war in the new physics! I can see those warmongers now, almost, like in an old cartoon saying 'drat, foiled again'
-
I use the terms interchangeably. Nature is the way it is because of the laws in place. Laws and nature exist as God sees fit. No one says they never changed and will not change again. WE can see many changes in rocks and land etc. How those changes took place and in what nature and laws is another story. Do you think that every island like Australia New Zealand, Indonesia, etc etc and every mountain can move around from where they were in this nature and there would still be many nations and people?
-
The warning is for believers in Israel at the time. With a little intelligence we can see that an evil world ruler hell bent on killing Jews and Christians will require some action from believers all over.

Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days That is when Jesus returns After the tribulation
-
Where in Zec 4? Says who? If believers in Israel need to head for the hills so will others people in the world need to take some measures to avoid being killed. Except that Jesus lands there. He judges nations there. We are with Him there. We rule kingdoms with Him. No idea why you imagine the place as some dead zone. Better not to make stuff up.
-
If His coming was 3 1/2 years after the abomination is revealed as the bible says the people fleeing would not be dead yet or taken up to heaven. They obey what Jesus said. Flee when it comes. After the tribulation we return with Him. Back on earth, before that the saints on earth are not us. They are people who come to faith. They need to flee.
-
Fair enough. Now support it by eliminating the end of the tribulation as an option? He doesn't get to change it if needed in the Tribulation? Why? Why is every mountain on earth and every island fleeing away and moving happening in this current nature? Says who? How about the changes in the universe and sun? How about angels and demons then being able to live among men and be seen and heard in the world? That doesn't happen today. If an angel appears to men it is an exception and isolated event today.

If you were alive. The problem is Jerusalem will never be nuked like that. Neither did God tell us to look for a nuke and then flee. He told us that when we see that abomination in the holy place then we are to flee immediately. No. The idol set up marks the time it all starts. Then we have the countdown.
-
Whenever it takes place we know how long it lasts and a lot else about it. One of those things we know is that every island will move. For that to happen, we need different laws to avoid the great heat it would cause in this nature. Your solution seems to be not believing they will actually move. We get it.
-
That does not say or suggest that all people fleeing as commanded by God are wicked.
-
How would God be limited in changing the nature on earth? No one said He does it by man's science. But bound to His word which tells us the islands and mountains will move. Yes, but earth itself went on under the laws of physics in general. That means miracles are the exception. In a change of nature it is the rule. Great, so then they never got that hot because probably nature in that day is different. If we shoved continents around fast today heat would be involved.
-
God pointed out that a bad thing had happened. Satan, in saying they would be as gods when the disobeyed was lying. God did not say in that verse were were gods. Satan did say in that chapter we would be. Believing the bible is not 'telling part of the truth'. Not believing parts of it is dealing with only part of the truth. Satan did not deceive Eve by getting her to believe what God said. She was deceived by believing the lies and not believing God's word.

We no longer live almost 1000 years for one thing. Plants now grow slow in comparison for another. Spirits do not live openly with men and marry for another. The earth is not watered from below today. What exact different laws are needed to achieve this we don't know. All we know are the laws we have now. So the right question is not what changed, but whether a change happened or not. The answer is that science doesn't know, and the bible and history indicate it has changed!
-
Since you do not understand the verse I will try to shed some light on it a bit for you. At a certain time there will be the great tribulation. His people are delivered in that time. Some protected, like the 144,000 and the 2 witnesses. Others will be delivered by death. Still others, at the end of that period when Jesus returns, will be raised up into resurrected bodies. Others will have already been delivered before that time starts in the Rapture!
-
The folks seeing the abomination are to flee. Right away. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200.
-
It is a good thing to obey and flee as He tells us when we see that abomination set up.

It is clear you cannot provide any worldwide calamity events as you alluded to in the days of Exodus etc. The thread is not about whether the nature will be the same. Obviously from the descriptions of heaven and the millennium, it will not. The issue is when it will change. Is it while still in the tribulation, just as it ends or after it is over and the 1000 years start. The verse in the OP is not some single verse to support how nature will not be the same! It is one example in the Tribulation of how it seems nature is already different. So the discussion was supposed to be about someone claiming the continents could all move fast IN this present nature with no great harm to life.,,or how that is impossible and nature would have to be different. Instead we get some posters trying to wave away and not even believe the islands and mountains will do as the bible says! Any by the way I told you that I do not read links, they are only used as support if we need to look at something in them that you post.

Hebrews 12:26 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” Isaiah 13:13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, And the earth will be shaken from its place At the fury of the Lord of hosts In the day of His burning anger. Isaiah 13:13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, And the earth will be shaken from its place At the fury of the Lord of hosts In the day of His burning anger. No real shaking?
