Are you having issues getting past sin in your lfe? Have faith my friends. Jesus said in John 8, He that commits sin is a slave to it. But if He sets you free from it, free you are indeed. Paul speaks of this slavery and the freedom Jesus offers in Romans 7 and 8. He says In respect to the bondage, the evil that he wouldn't he does. And if he does what he doesn't want to, it isn't him, but the sin in him, even though he delights over the Law of God that is in his mind. He can't help himself. He calls this dilemma a law in 7:21 and says it is the law of sin, and it has him in captivity in verse 23. Then he pleads, oh wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from this body of death! And then I’m respect to that he says, there is now no condemnation to us who are in Christ Jesus. Why? For the Spirit of the Life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the Law of sin so that the righteousness of the Law be fulfilled in us. Who walk after this Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and not after the flesh. For if we walk after the flesh we shall die. But if we through walking in the Spirit of the life in Christ Jesus mortify the deeds of the body we shall live. So how are we set free from death? By walking in the Spirit of the life in Christ Jesus mortifying the deeds of the body that the righteousness of the Law be fulfilled in us. In respect to this, how much leaven leavens the whole? What if we are only walking in part and not wholly?

Colossians 1 says There is a hope, an expectation been laid up in Heaven for us. Which we heard in the truth of the Gospel. This expectation is present with us to walk worthy of the Lord. Bearing fruit in every good work. Increasing in the recognition of God. Being endued~ in all power, in accord with the mightiness of His *glory, with all endurance and patience with joy. Giving thanks to the Father. The One who has made and continues to make us competent, partakers of the inheritance of the saints, in *light. Rescuing us out of the power of darkness. Transferring us into the kingdom of His Son of His love. In Whom we have deliverance, the remission, removal of the sins through His blood. And by him all things consist, are held together. Reconciled in the body of His flesh through death to present us holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If we continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope (expectation) of the gospel, which ye have heard. The expectation laid up in heaven for us. The mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope, expectation of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect, Holy, unblameable and unreprovable in and through Christ Jesus. Being rescued from the power of darkness being translated into the Kingdom, the Body of Christ, the Temple of God. Wherein we labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in us mightily. As we continue in chapter 2 of Colossians we see That our hearts are to be comforted, knitted together in love. In the full assurance of the understanding and the acknowledgement of the Mystery of God. Which is Christ in you the hope. the joyful expectation of glory. In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge of God. Wherein we are not beguiled by enticing words. That we remain established in the faith of Christ Jesus. In that we whom have received Christ, have put on Christ, so walk ye in Him. Us in Him He in us. That the world might believe Being Rooted and being built up in Him. Established in the faith. Rescued from the power of darkness. Translated into the Kingdom of His dear Son. Made competent, to present us Holy, unblamable and unreprovable in His sight. And excelling in it with thanksgiving. Even as ye were taught. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the God bodily. And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in cutting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with Him in baptism. Reconciled in the Body of His death wherein also ye are risen with Him, quickened together with him; circumcised, the cutting off of the sins of the flesh having risen with Him having forgiven us all trespasses Wherein we labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in us mightily. Being endued with all power in accordance with the mightiness of God's Glory in Christ Jesus through faith. Is Christ in you working mightily? Are you experiencing all the fullness of God in Christ Jesus being complete in Him? If not. why not? The text states we Have been forgiven all trespasses. How does this forgiveness mentioned in verse 13 connect to verses 14-16 contextually?

2Tim 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. Profane? Me not likey. The word does not actually show the depth of what is being said. Here is what the BDAG has to share on the word in respect to 2Tim. We emphasized the actually definition in bold print so that it would be easily ascertain for those of us who are not use to the format. "pert. to being accessible to everyone and therefore devoid of real significance, pointless, worthless οἱ β. καὶ γραώδεις μῦθοι foolish tales, such as are told by elderly women 1 Ti 4:7 (satirical indictment of cosmic speculations, opp. edifying discourse). κενοφωνίαι pointless and empty talk, frivolous talk (cp. 3 Macc 4:16) 6:20; 2 Ti 2:16." With that in mind the words of Jesus in Matt 12:36 come to mind, "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment." Below are the 4 other verses where the Greek word is used that is translated profane. Check them out with idea that the Greek word pertains to that which is accessible to everyone and therefore devoid of real significance, pointless, worthless. 1Tim 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1Tim 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 1Tim 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: 2Tim 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. Heb 12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

Paul said in Romans 8 when he said, "The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death." What is the Law of sin? The law of sin in the above phrase is not the Law or a law found in the Book of the Law or of the Decalogue, the Ten Commandments. Most people don't understand this text, so if you think it is, you are not alone. Please follow along. In context Paul says that he does what he doesn't want to do because sin dwells in him in Rom 7:20. After saying this he says in context to it in verse 21, "I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me." In other words not being able to control himself (ourselves) because of the indwelling sin is the law he found. This is brought out even further by the next two verses. Paul says that he delights in the Law of God in relation to the good that he wants to do. But then he says he sees ANOTHER law in his members. This OTHER law that he says he found, the law that when he would do good evil is present with him. It is through this law he does what he would not, because of the sin that dwells in him. He as we can't help ourselves. O wretched man that I am who shall deliver me (us) from this body of death that has sin dwelling in it? Then because of the good that Paul wants to do He thanks God through Jesus Christ that he serves the Law of God with His mind. But there is a contrast in his flesh that he can not do what he would. He is in captivity, serving the law of sin in and with his flesh. However there is therefore NOW no condemnation to us who are in Christ Jesus he continues in chapter 8. We who walk after the Spirit, His Spirit and not after the flesh, the sin that dwells in it. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin, the law that he found and is, the law that when we would do good evil is present with us. The law that we do what we would not, because of the sin that dwells in us and the result of it is death. For the wages of sin is death. (Rom 6:23) For what the law, the law of God that we serve with our minds could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh that had sin dwelling in it, God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:That the righteousness of the law of God might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit of Christ Jesus whom we are in. And He in us that the world might believe. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. So say not in your heart, who shall bring Christ, through which we recieve the Word, His commandments and statutes contained in the Book of the Law in the heart down from above or up from the deep. But the righteousness of faith speaks this. The Word is in your heart and in your mouth that you can do it. That the righteousness of the Law, the Law of God be fulfilled in us who walk after the Spirit of Christ and not after the flesh, the sin that dwells in us. This is the word of faith in which we preach. Rom 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. Rom 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Rom 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above) Rom 10:7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Deut 30:10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. Deut 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. Deut 30:12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Deut 30:13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Deut 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Many Christian denominations even some Adventist make a division in Matthew 24. There is no division in Jesus' answer to the three question in verse 3. Verse 20's praying that our flight not be in the winter nor the Sabbath is connected to all of it my friends by the use of the conjunctive particles, for, and, for. wherefore, for, for and, and respectively. This means that Jesus expected His follows to be keeping the Sabbath until His return. And the adverb "then" in verse 24 shows us that what is about to be said relies on what was previously stated. Verse 26's use of the particle "wherefore" shows us that what is about to be said is connected to verse 24. The context also makes this apparent. Then with the continuous use of the particle "for" in verses 27 and 28 coupled with the particle "and" in verses 30 and 31 we are shown what is about to be said is directly connected to what was said the whole way back to verse 4 actually. So as was said Jesús expected and therefore expects His follows to be keeping the Sabbath up through the destruction of the Temple through the tribulation prior to and up to His Second coming and the gathering of the elect from the four winds, from one end of Heaven unto the other. Matt 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: Matt 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Matt 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Matt 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. Matt 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matt 24:25 Behold, I have told you before. Matt 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. Matt 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matt 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Matt 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Matt 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matt 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: So if it is up to our interpretation of what complete is, then the measure of the stature and fullness of Christ is not perfect it is only complete because the perfect man that we are to be is only complete, mature not perfect. -

Silly labels. Careful not to let perfect mean anything other than what the verses in James show us in there context and how the word was used in the time that it was written. If things are complete they have met their desire end therefore they are perfect. It is not subjective. -
Perfect work, perfect gift, perfect law, perfect man. Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Jas 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Jas 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Jas 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

I have always loved that chapter. As to your question no. I just like the part in Exodus where God reminds us it is He that sanctifies. Even under the old covenant. -

Through His indwelling. Us in Him He in us that the world might believe. For it is He that works in us BOTH to will and do His good pleasure. Christ in us the hope of glory. He is the vine and we are the branches. Without Him we can do nothing. But with Him all things are possible. -

God had not yet begun a work in your life? It is a certainty that in Him we move, live and have our being. For He has given all things to us that pertain to live and godliness. And all good things come down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variance. For it is He that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. That which may be known of God is manifested to us, for God shows us. The invisible things are clearly shown, from the creation of the world so we are without excuse. -

Thank you friend, may the Lord continue to bless in all His Way. Here is something for your consideration. Please do not misunderstand I am not a KJV only purporter. But if we go by their translation the whereof in verse 15 grammatically relates back to the last statement made in verse 14, which would be that we are perfected. Couple that with the witness that with what the Holy Spirit testified in regards to us being perfected. Which is the Law is to be in our hearts and minds. Or as Romans 10:8 puts it, The word in our hearts and mouths. For it is God that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. Phil 2:8 Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Heb 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, Heb 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; -

However we can be unsanctified by sinning willfully. Because of being sanctified by His blood and perfected by His Law in our hearts and minds we therefore have Boldness to enter into the holiest of all through the veil, that is to say His flesh. Let us hold fast this profession of our faith. That we are sanctified and perfected. Considering one another, provoking unto love, good works and exhorting one another as we see the day approaching. For, BECAUSE OF WHAT WAS JUST SHARED. IF WE ARE SINNING WILLFULLY after receiving the knowledge of us being SANCTIFIED through Christ's blood AND PERFECTED through the New Covenant there remains no more sacrifice for sin. ONLY a certain fearful looking forward to judgement and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries Those who are sinning willfully, trodding underfoot the Son of God, and counting the blood of the covenant in which we were sanctified an unholy thing and has done despite upon the Spirit of Grace. Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: Heb 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised. Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Heb 10:26 For if we are sinning wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? Heb 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. -

No I don't think that. However I see where you might think so. These verses do state that our sanctification is done. As in past tense and we have been perfected forever. And this perfectness is byproduct of the new Covenant, the putting of God's commandments in our hearts and minds. -
SANCTIFIED through Christ once and for all. For by one offering HE hath PERFECTED FOREVER them that ARE SANCTIFIED. Whereof, of this that was just spoken of. This perfectness of the sanctified the HOLY GHOST ALSO TESTIFIES IN THAT HE SAYS BEFORE, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them". Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Heb 10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; Heb 10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Heb 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, Heb 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

Praise God for your kind words. He truly moves us and establishes us through and in Him. For it is He that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. That is the Gospel, the Kingdom of God. Us in Him He in us that the World might believe.

If we profess Christ here is some information you should know. John 3:16-18 should be translated as follows. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing INTO Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. The one believing INTO Him is not condemned; but the one not believing has already been condemned, for he has not believed INTO the name of the only begotten Son of God. (Joh 3:16-18 LITV) In respect to the Greek word εἰς translated INTO in the above text here is an excerpt From the BDAG lexicon which is basically a dictionary. εἰς prep. w. acc. (Hom.+; s. the lit. under ἀνά, beg., also ATheimer, Die Präp. εἰς, ἐν, ἐκ im NT: Progr. z. 24. u. 29. Jahresbericht des niederösterr. Landes- Real- u. Obergymnasiums Horn 1896; 1901; AOepke, TW II 418–32), indicating motion into a thing or into its immediate vicinity or relation to something. 1 extension involving a goal or place, into, in, toward, to... Though εἰς can be translated "in" it shouldn't be because contextually INTO fits with the rest of the Gospel, For He is the vine and we are the branches. Without Him we can do nothing. Jo 15:5 The prayer of a righteous man availeth much. So it is written... Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. (Joh 17:20-23 KJV)

Titus 2:12 says Grace teaches. So Grace is a Teacher. TEACHING US --- that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts we should live --soberly--righteously--and godly-- IN THIS PRESENT WORLD. 1 Cor 3 really does not define what Grace is. It only states that it was given to Paul as a wise and master builder. Maybe you see something I do not. However I did find this in respect to Grace being a builder. Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. So so far Grace is a Teacher, TEACHING US --- that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts we should live --soberly--righteously--and godly-- IN THIS PRESENT WORLD. Building us up, to give us an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Shall we continue?

The Gospel in Galatians. The Sonship which is in and of Christ Jesus. Not of the many, but of the one. For we are all the children of God THOUGH THE FAITH IN Christ Jesus. For as many of us which have been baptized INTO Christ have PUT ON Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for WE ARE ALL ONE IN Christ. For we are dead nevertheless we live. Yet not us BUT Christ Jesus liveth in us and the Life we now live in the Flesh we live by the FAITH OF Christ Jesus.That HE might deliver us from this present evil world out of the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed into Jesus Christ, that we might be MADE RIGHTEOUS out of the faith of Christ Jesus. For as many which have been baptized INTO Christ have PUT on Christ. (Gal 3:26-28; 2:20; 1:4; 2:16)
