  1. One of my hobbies is family history. Many years ago I discovered a headstone for my third great-grandfather. Part of the inscription is from an old hymn, “Sister Thou Wast Mild and Lovely” and I have done much research about the lyrics and melody. It seems to be listed in modern hymnals even today and it has A beautiful melody. I have only found one audio version that seems to follow the original melody line, and many others that seem to have taken on a more modern approach to the melody. The one that seems most original is sung by children, and their interpretation is basic. (No offense to the children) I’m looking for a rendition from an adult choir . Has anyone in the group heard this beautiful song? Does anyone know of an adult audio version of it?

  3. Hi everyone, I have been browsing around the forums today and learning how the Worthy site works. I really like it, and I appreciate all of the good information. One item that I haven’t seen is a note with forum rules. Many forums use a pinned post or something similar to make sure everyone behaves. Did I just miss it? Just trying to be proactive and keep within decorum. Could someone please point me in that direction? Thanks in advance!
