The end time perseverance / endurance has to do with the mark and the image.  Its how war is waged against the saints.  Something to think about.

Rev. 13:10  Whoever is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes: whoever kills with the sword, by the sword must he be killed. This is what shows the patience and the faith of the saints.

Let’s go back a little to verse 8 which talks about worshiping the AC/Satan. 
Rev. 13:8  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.   

So what’s your destiny?  Who are you going to be “captive” to?  Will it be the dragon (Antichrist/Satan) or will it be the true CHRIST?  Will you be deceived by Satan or will you not be deceived?  because you will be marked for one or the other. You will either have the seal of God in your forehead and have your name written in the Lamb’s book of life or you will be deceived and worship the dragon and receive his beastly mark. If your name is written in the Lamb’s book, then you have the patience and the faith to endure unto the end.

Here is what I believe about Christ reigning now, and the evil one in chains now. The chains do not say he can do nothing but it says he can't deceive the nations. Christ is reigning in and through His people now, as none can be removed from Christ and through them the gospel goes to all nations. When he is released from those chains, he will be able to deceive the nations and that is when the persecution of the Church will reach a level never before seen. There will likely be martyrs.

Best watch and pray and be ready to endure because though we do not face God's wrath we are not guaranteed to not suffer and even be killed. But if we die, yet we live in glory.

Something to study. There is much more to it than what I can say here. You will need help from those who have done that study from that view, to break the cycle of what you have been taught. What we have all been taught with never a look into other ways of interpreting that glorious book, as though there were none, and the view taught is absolute. Covenant theology is one place you see this amillennial/idealist view and on youtube you can find series on Revelation by Voddie Buchman and R.C. Sproul. They are very systematic and support what they say through the scriptures. You don't have to believe it, but a person does owe it to themselves to have a way to decide for themselves.

In the first three chapters of the book of Revelation, Christ took the apostle John (in the spirit) into the future and showed him what is/will be happening on earth as we get ever closer to the Day of the Lord and the Millennium, which I believe is very near since we are already living in the generation of the "Fig Tree.”  

All of us trying to understand this amazing book need to keep in mind that this is prophecy and that many of the events that John sees spiritually haven’t happened yet in real time, even though John has “seen” them.

Here’s my understanding (Lord help me).

This multitude of people have all been saved and come from all nations and languages.  This is not a  pretrib rapture, as many believe.  It is all the Christian people who have ever lived and have passed on.  This is the multitude that John sees standing before the Lord in their white robes, washed in the blood of the Lamb, and their sins made white as snow.

I believe this is referring to folks who will be deceived.  This is saying that people’s love for family and friends will grow cold because they will turn away from God’s Word.  And this apostasy scenario will just get worse and worse when those who fall away are unable to convince their family or true believers/saints/Elect to follow the Antichrist who they believe is the true Christ.  In other words, they have been deceived.  But God's Elect will never be deceived by the Antichrist.  They are destined to endure to the end, remaining true to the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Sounds good; I agree. 

Revelation 11:3  And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

According to the verse above, the two witnesses have one thousand two hundred and threescore days which = 3 1/2 years.  Notice that it’s days, not moons.  This is the last half of the 3 1/2 year period shortened to 2 1/2 months if we consider Revelation 9:5:  And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.

Since 1260 days are longer than 42 months, it follows that the two witnesses will arrive in Jerusalem a few days before the Antichrist.  The two witnesses should therefore be spotted around two and a half months into the locusts' five-month period.
