Many of us have been taught by God in ways that we were never expecting. And the Lessons we learned have become Valuable jewels of Knowledge. And God uses those He Corrects! We all serve a Purpose for Him!

If one deals with sins but hides them and covers them up, they are well aware of their sin but are being rebellious towards God concerning them. If they deny God within their Spirit, God will send someone along to point it out so they get back into the right direction.

Sister, There are many true Believers who have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior, but the ideas they entertain towards SIN, that they deal with individually or through family/friends, are very laxed and lack true condemnation for these SINS. They begin changing a Verse where the obvious interpretation concludes one true meaning and loophole it to lax the SIN they deal with. These Churches, from Major Protestant Denominations, promoting professing <Same Sex> preference people with partners to the Position of Pastor, Spiritual Leader, Song and Worship, teaching the Youth, they have literally "ripped" the pages from the Holy Word of God to find comfort in those changes and beliefs to allow such Abominations! A True Reckoning will happen!

This is why in Spiritual Warfare, it's good to be pronouncing not just God's name correctly, but correctly, so the Enemy of God understands who you are talking about!

The third problem with transliterating “Yeshua” is the fact that traditionally, masculine Greek names never ended in a vowel sound. Those that did were generally given the letter Sigma or “s” as a suffix. This tradition might well have been derived from the fact that the name of the Greek god Zeus ended with Sigma. This tradition is seen in familiar Biblical names, where Judah became Judas, Cephah (which means “rock”) became Cephas, Apollo became Apollos, Barnabie became Barnabas, Matthew became Matthias and so on. So “ee-ay-soo-ah” needed to become “ee-ay-soo-ah-s”. The fourth problem is that the two vowel sounds before the “s” do not flow and are virtually never seen in Greek. So the last vowel sound was dropped as it was in other names and we were left with “ee-ay-soos”. Aside from the added tradition of giving the name a masculine sound, this is the closest a Greek-speaking person could come to transliterating the name Yeshua. By this point, the name Yeshua had lost all of its meaning and 75% of its sound. The last vestige of its sound was found in the “oo” (as in “soon”) sound. Yeshua was known as “ee-ay-soos” to the Greek-speaking world for nearly 400 years. "

Amen! Amen! Agreed about applying the Customs of those days, the way people viewed such things, what was accepted and what was not. A lot of Ancient Cultures like Greece, we read about these great warriors, were all traditionally used by elder men in their training to become this great warrior. So, more than likely, any word that is within the ballpark that relates to male prostitutes, could easily apply. But in word, meaning only based upon the word's definition, prostitution and sodomy are different as night from day.

But even so, there is a common knowledge that exists about Christ and His 12 that we don't have to assume because it's not directly found within the Gospels. We have great understanding Christ and many of His Disciples were from Aramaic Speaking Communities. His name would definitely begin in a "Y" and the Greek having no "Y" would use a "J" instead. It's rather obvious His Name is Yeshua. It literally means Yahweh's Salvation. Which I phrase it the Yahweh's Salvation Plan = Yeshua

My reasoning for mentioning Verse 18 only was after reading it from the KJV, I read it from the Torah and noticed the difference. I am not trying to use Verse 18 for any purpose in a whole meaning of Scripture prior/following Verse 18. I just copied Verse 18 to post it in comparison how the Verses read differently. But I agree to your Context!

Agreed! But the kjv has a tendency to define one object with a specific word, and then that single definition gets applied to like objects that have actual different meanings. This is why it is important to View the Torah or Tanakh, because it lets us know when kjv is using a single word for all meanings, which is misleading the reader. Many times I will use the <Codex Sinaiticus> to verify the KJV New Testament for same reason I use the Torah/Tanakh to verify the KJV Old Testament.

Agreed! I do however prefer an actual speaking Hebrew Sofer to translate the Torah into English best. But I will look into the other translations.

Hey Brother, I understand your viewpoint and agree with You! It's just interesting when newer translations of the Bible have a different word than what the older Bible had. I'm not saying either one is wrong. I just find it intrigues me to want to know why the later translation corrected it with a word, that immediately, has no similar meaning.

If we take the Torah, which was written literally 3,000 years before the KJV Bible, there is a Verse that from the Torah's view means totally different than from the KJV Bible's view. This is the same Verse from the KJV first, Torah second. What the Hebrew calls prostitute, KJV calls sodomite. That is two separate meanings. That could very easily change the text of what we Believe after reading Deuteronomy 23: 17There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. 18There shall not be a prostitute of the daughters of Israel, and there shall not be a male prostitute of the sons of Israel. יחלֹא־תִֽהְיֶ֥ה קְדֵשָׁ֖ה מִבְּנ֣וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹא־יִֽהְיֶ֥ה קָדֵ֖שׁ מִבְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל:

Agreed! But because the addition from King James, readers assume God is calling Same Sex Men, Sodomites. God called them the same as a Woman who prostituted in the Hebrew Tongue. We've assigned a name to a condition/situation that does not apply. Sure, it can be reasoned even what we read in the KJV is true towards Same Sex Men. We can even reason it equals sodomy in our moralistic view. But a Prostitute means something different than a Sodomite.

I wonder how many assumed words were added throughout the entire KJV Bible? It appears to be based upon King James assumptions versus the Hebrew Torah that existed before his English miscues.

The Hebrew Torah doesn't say that all: 18There shall not be a prostitute of the daughters of Israel, and there shall not be a male prostitute of the sons of Israel. יחלֹא־תִֽהְיֶ֥ה קְדֵשָׁ֖ה מִבְּנ֣וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹא־יִֽהְיֶ֥ה קָדֵ֖שׁ מִבְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל:

8And it will penetrate into Judah, overflowing as it passes through, up to the neck it will reach; and the tips of his wings will fill the breadth of your land, Immanuel.

Properly in line with meaning, Yeshua literally means Yahweh's Salvation. I like to add <Plan> behind it to make it read "Yahweh's Salvation Plan!" What was Yahweh's Salvation Plan? Yeshua enduring Death/Burial/Resurrection!

The Bible does not actually classify Same Sex scenarios. It always is in reference to the sexual act between Same Sex that is upheld as an Abomination unto God. The Word of God, does not come right out and assign a term for people involved in Same Sex relationships, or based just on merit of preference for Same Sex. So we have no Scriptural Evidence that God had anything against people who even had only an interest in Same Sex. We have terms like Self Pleasure, Desires, Lust. But we currently have those same terms for Adultery and other immoral sex acts. The only thing we ever read where God disclaims that we know Same Sex is wrong, is God made Male and Female to procreate. Not happening in Same Sex Partnerships. But God called the intimate act between Same Sex as being an ABOMINATION. So, the Word of God does not come right out and declare people who may struggle with finding the Same Sex attractive as being <Guilty> of any wrong doing. But the Word of God does declare being intimate between Same Sex is a flat out Abomination. a·bom·i·na·tion /əˌbäməˈnāSH(ə)n/ noun a thing that causes disgust or hatred.

I am newer to this area than most in these parts. But they tell me whenever I see them they saw this or that and this area was not its natural habitat. I gain a lot of knowledge from those who are from here. But this is what I have noticed, rain, and cooler temperatures that are 25 degree below on average for this time of year. It's normally high 90's and low 100's for a month or two and it's been cool enough to turn off the swamp cooler at night. Believe it or not, that is a big deal turning off the swamp cooler in August

We have that with sun flowers. 40 years ago these fields before being split into farms were sun flowers. I've planted several grasses for haying trying to find the one that survives my climate. In between plantings random sun flowers keep popping up. Wheat, alfalfa, grasses, corn, beans, squash, lettuce have all been planted throughout the years here, but in between planting, a swarth of sun flowers erupt all over like they were meant to.

Appears to be a hybrid of several squash. Many odd things are happening. I live in the high desert and on my second week of 25 degree cooler days than average for Summer/August plus we've been getting rainy nights. It's like a completely new weather pattern just settled in. I am not complaining and Praising God. But it does strike me odd and should i be looking at this from a Biblical perspective.
