    Kislev 24

I believe Kislev 24 is when God converts the two witnesses,, but not that the tribulation starts yet. Since the great Tribulation is 3-1/2 years until Jesus returns to earth with his saints on the Feast of Trumpets in the fall, we know that the Tribulation has to start in the springtime and end 3-1/2 years later on Trumpets. We might be close to Jesus returns, but, there are many prophetic events that have to occur before this occurs. The bible is clear that a political beast power will emerge as well as a religious leader, or another beast, performing miracles to point people to worship this political beast and take his mark (whatever that will be). No one can buy or sell unless they have the mark. (Rev. 13:17) II Thess. 2:4 tells us that this beast power will go into into the temple of God, sits down, proclaiming that he is god. So we can conclude from that prophecy that a temple still has to be built so this prophecy can be fulfilled. Daniel 12:11 also says that the daily sacrifice would be taken away. If they are taken away, we realize they still have to start. So, as close as we are to end times, we can see that many prophecies still have to be fulfilled before Jesus return.

    Kislev 24

Keras, you are so right that Kislev 24 is a date that commemorates many significant historical events. These you mentioned are very important to show that God works in patterns, or duality if you will, so we can be sure that Haggai's prophecy will be fulfilled in the future. God gives Haggai us the exact date in the future that he will work with Zerubbabel (governor of Judah) and Joshua (the high priest). God says it 3 times, in Haggai 2, verses 10, 18 and 20. "from the 24th day of the 9th month (Kislev). God is going to work once again with these two Jewish figures, whomever they are at the time. Haggai 2:23 tells us "In that day," (Kislev 24) I will take you, O Zerubbabel, My servant, the son of Shealtiel, says the Lord, and will make you like a signet ring, for I HAVE CHOSEN YOU, says the LORD of hosts. Now let's tie in Zechariah 3:3-5 Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and stood before the Angel..God tells the angel to remove the filthy garments and to clothe him with ceremonial robes and put a clean mitre on his head. (Could the filthy rags be the conversion from Judaism to accepting Jesus Christ? We know that God struck down Saul, (the Pharisee in charge of killing true Christians) and converted him to become the apostle Paul. Will God once again perform this same miracle with Zerubbabel and Joshua? I believe Zechariah 4 gives us the answer to this question, as well as tell us who the two witnesses will be. 1. And the angel that talked with me came again and awakened me, as a man that is awakened out of his sleep. 2. And he said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand, all of it gold, and a bowl on its top, and its seven lamps upon it, and seven pipes to the seven lamps on its top; 3. And two olive trees beside it, one on the right side of the bowl, and the other on the left side of it.” 4. And I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, “What are these, my lord?” 5. Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, “Do you know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.” 6. Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, “This is the Word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts. 7. ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain; and he shall bring forth the head stone with shoutings, “Grace! Grace unto it!” 8. And the Word of the LORD came to me, saying, 9. “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it.” And you shall know that the LORD of hosts has se(A Faithful Version)nt me to you. 10. “For who has despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of the LORD which run to and fro through the whole earth.” 11. And I answered and said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right side of the lampstand and on its left side?” 12. And I answered again and said to him, “What are the two olive branches beside the two golden pipes, emptying the golden oil out of themselves?” 13. And he answered me and said, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.” 14. And he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand by the LORD of the whole earth.” Now let's go to Revelation 11:3 and let the scripture interpret the scripture: Revelation 11:3 3. And I will give power to My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. 4. These are the two olive trees, and the two lampstands that stand before the God of the earth. Zechariah 4 and Revelation 11 clearly interpret each other as to who the two witnesses will be. It is the same wording. What a miracle it will be when these two high ranking Jewish leaders are converted and begin preaching Jesus Christ, giving the warning to the nations not to accept the mark of the Beast, and warn about the upcoming Tribulation. (God always gives a warning before the punishment). We don't know which Kislev 24 this great event will occur. But, we know God's word is truth and it will happen at His Appointed time. I would like to hear what your thoughts are on this. (A Faithful Version)
