A liberal christian is something in 50 years that I have never been accused of. Simply put, I believe in the power of prayer, the word and judgement of God. God sees the heart in all of us. He is our father. He is the judge. gbu Mark <{POST_SNAPBACK}> God is LOVE <{POST_SNAPBACK}> God is Love. amen Mark

A liberal christian is something in 50 years that I have never been accused of. Simply put, I believe in the power of prayer, the word and judgement of God. God sees the heart in all of us. He is our father. He is the judge of us collectively and individually. I am accountable to him. Sometimes Satan isnt needed to divide the family, we do it to ourselves. gbu Mark

I've always wondered what is meant by "blasphemy of the holy spirit"? If somone is a teenager, and curses and curses and swears at god really bad, is this blasphemy? Have they been shut off from God and can not be eventually saved? I was asked this question and didn't know how to respond. Mark

How about turning this into a poll? Mark

No, I do not, and, satan continues to rejoice that this continues to divide christians. That is of course unless one determines that throughout the last decade and a half every court, every judge, every attorney, every individual that decided with the way the end result ultimately occurred, is a thoughtless evil, condemned sinner. I just simply suggest once again, that is it possible that after 15 years in the court system, and despite additional attempts in the end, of which some called (christians) for civil disobedience, that perhaps despite some of mans best attempts to the contrary, God's will was finally done, and, Terry has gone to be with him. At any time, a miracle could have occurred. It did not. I mean have we become so selfrightous that we can not open ourselves up to the possiblity, that God, finally got tired of our intervening and allowed the correct end resutl. Is it possbile? And to compare this 15 year adjudication in the court system to an act (another post here) of Taliban (a discreet moment of beheading in a back alley)? Is this why sripture warns us to be careful of what comes out of our mouths?. Is that not significantly watering down the acts of the Taliban? Should our soldiers in the field, take this perspective and immediately commit mutiny and run home and stir a civil war, because our government is now the Taliban? And while we are on that subject, who appointed the liberal judges? Who put the politicians in office that appointment them? How many christians dont vote? In some of the forums here, I read about how "I didnt vote" cause they are both evil. Wow, that's great, so now perhaps a third totally evil write in candiate whom no one expected gets the job? Does that make sense? Are we not commanded to be involved in the voting process? Are we not to blame ourselves? How many christians settle for a benefit or a subsidy or somenthing that benefits their personal self from a un-christain politician? Christians united can rise up and put anyone in office and get anyone out. But, we shoot ourselves and are our own worse enemys, often insisting that we are right and using a scripture to back up one point than a different point when we want it to mean something else. I am so sad at what has happened here. I am further saddened by how we have hurt ourselves. I turned this over to God long ago and prayed fervently for Gods perfect will be done in the end. Is it possible that my prayer along with millions of other christians who prayed similarly was answered? Only god knows, but, I respect his decision in the end, knowing that he can do anything and will do anything if we are to far off track. Just my thoughts, for whatever they're worth. I accept that my feelings may be wrong. I tend to believe that God got tired of the bickering and allowed his ultimate will to be done. Time to come together and lets work on those politicians and the ones they appoint. Where we dont agree, get out and vote for someone anyway who supports your view, make it public, write in their name. I am sure the press will cover it, cause in most cases they'll laugh at it, but, in the end the viewpoint gets out to the public, and, when we stand in judgement, we did our best to effect government the best way we can, the vote. Dont like whos on the ballot, write in your pastor, your religious leader, yourself if you think you can do better. Mark

Of course I first saw this and said, I wasn't going to fall for this, not even going to click on it. Then I read on and said gee, I was right not to fall for it. But, by the time I got to the last post, my curiosity got the best of me and clicked on it. Mark rofl at myself
