When we point fingers and name names we are executing judgement. That's not our job. We were not called to be judges but sowers. If you see your brother or sister walking in a way that is contrary to sound doctrine then yes, you should go to that person and try to show them the error of their ways. If they accept it, good. if they don't, so be it. Their eternity not your's. If you believe the presedent is walking in darkness then go to him and explain the way of the Light. If you are unable to meet with him, take your concerns to the Father. Walk in the Light and leave the judging to Christ. Nite Owl

You shouldn't wrap your head around world affairs. It's ok to keep yourself informed but don't get sucked into all the darkness that abounds there. The world is full of evil and it comes in all shapes and sizes. When the presedent ( Bush ) took office, he basically stepped into that world of darkness. I've seen him compromise his faith on several occasions but that's him...not me. It's his eternity not mine. If your going to judge someone, keep it to yourself or at the very least take it to God. Broadcasting your hates and dislikes toward certain individuals only stirs up the spirits, and by doing so you put a stumbling block in the paths of your brothers and sisters. I don't mean to offend and if I have I am truly sorry. But you must remember, the world is full of darkness and we who are of the Light have no place there. Just a thought Nite Owl

Didn't mean to confuse you and yes there is a deeper meaning. I guess what I'm trying get at is, if Christ didn't have long hair, who's the guy in all the pictures? No one really knows what Christ looked like. The only description of Him I know of is in Revelations. If there are others, please correct me. I won't be offended. The bible warns us of many things. False teachers, false prophets, false doctrines, and of course idolatry. When you attach a face to the name you have basically made yourself an idol. What do think would happen if someone suddenly showed up working miracles and had the same physical appearance as that image? How many people do you think would blindly follow this individual, believeing him to be the Christ? Matt. 24:23,24 "Then if anyone says to you, look, here is the Christ, or there. Do not believe it. Indeed, Christ did not have long hair. So what does it mean? Why did Paul feel the need to include this fact in his letter to the Corinthians? Read Exodus 20:4,5...Romans 1:22,23...Deuteronomy 4:16 & 4:23 Think about it Nite Owl

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder! For satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. I don't think God recognizes the church as being a church of God. It's all about money. Money and recruitment. The more people you get into your church, the more money you'll have. The devil has taken the scriptures and molded them to his advantage. Take for example Matt. 25:14-30. Most people think it's about money but it's not. 1 Corinthians 11:14....people have no idea what that verse means. Didn't Christ drive the money changers from the temple? How many churches have book stores and gift shops built into them? There isn't a tv preacher out there that isn't trying to hock something. Radio's right there with'em. I truly believe we are living in the end times. At least at the very beginning of it anyway. I read my bible and look at the world around me and I can see it. God's words coming to life around me. False teachers, false prophets, people drifting away from the church. Idol worship runs rampant among the christian community. No one cares anymore. The devil has done his job very well. He stands in front of the congregation in his thousand dollar suit carrying his five hundred dollar bible and screams "hallelujah" and the people say "amen". And it's only gonna get worst.
