  1. I am so sorry I am so slow to get back to this..thank you for praying for them...Emily was found and returned to her mom and dad....\o/..this family needs some healing so continued prayer if it crosses your mind would be appreciated..I am sure they would thank you if they knew you were praying for them.. :th_praying:

  2. Missing Juveniles:

On 4/22 around 4:30 am, the juvenile female, Emily Condom (13 years of age), fled her residence in Holiday through her bedroom window in order to meet up with her boyfriend, Weston Rhodes (19 years of age). Upon meeting with each other, they responded to a mutual friend’s residence and indicated their intent to leave the area to Ocala and/or Miami via a public bus system. If you see these teens or have information about their whereabouts please call the Pasco Sheriff’s Office. Rhodes has an active warrant.

  3. forgive..I am not a scholar... I can say I do not understand why you posted from and old practically unknown translation that was never really widely accepted..and now are posting a similar sounding scripture from what I believe is the esv...

but I will say, the words from God that we refuse are truly the ones we need to be concerned over ,the ones He speaks to our hearts...

when we refuse Him when He comes to us is when we are in trouble....

but God being the loveing God that He is will take us to the lowest place we need to go to come to our senses and say blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord...

  4. Ahh how the devil likes to torment our hearts and minds... truth is all you have to do is confess your sins before Him ... when you do that ..asknowledge your sin and repent of it..then I guarantee you He will forgive you and cleanse you of all your unrighteousness ....and when He has done that then know that when the voices come to tell you what a sinful person you are you agree and say yes in the natural that is true but I am a new creation in Christ Jesus and there is therfore now no condemnation for me...stand up to the lies and believe God ...

you must believe that God is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him....

if you will do this the lies will fade the tormenting dreams will stop or God will give you clarity on what He may be saying if you do dream...

His word is true and He will never lie to you but the devil (and your flesh) will decieve you in a heartbeat..

God is so faithful to us ..beyond what we can imagine sometimes because we see how bad have been, are, and can be...sometimes we find it too amazing to think God could love us .... but ..He does... Jesus is the proof of that love...

I have fought, and do fight, this battle, as I am guessing all Christians do.. we have to have it settled that we trust Jesus has paid the price and that we are free to live unto God now...

Rom 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Rom 8:32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

Rom 8:33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.

Rom 8:34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died--more than that, who was raised--who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.

Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

Rom 8:36 As it is written, "For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered."

Rom 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Rom 8:38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,

Rom 8:39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  5. Hummm... Music..

Music is an odd thing .. it becomes part of you when you listen to it ..

I mostly prefer Christian music and it matters what kind.. like nebula that is a lot I don't like..

    I prefer worship music ...

when I am listening to music it is a praise to God ..which I think God gave us music for ... :)

But .. for entertainment I like country and oldies ..;-).. for me 50's and 60's is oldies...

but I don't like to listen to it a lot as it most definatley affects your spirit..yup.. it does...

I had not watched the news all summer and the other day I pulled up the news to read it and gosh it was down right offensive what they were even discussing on the news.. they should be embarrased to put stuff out there and talk about it like that..

so I do not miss the news and just did not realize how crude even the news had become..

Movies.. another thing altogether from music but they still has an effect on your spirit...

I try to watch fun stuff .. no vile subjects like what is pretty much all that is put out now....

Look.. they way I believe it is ... I look at it listen to it read it and it goes in to me... and it will come out... if I put in

worship music I will worship God .. If I put in some fun country or oldies it is like junk food ... if I put in movies that are not so nice then I end up battleing the stuff that got put into my head while I watched it..

it is true... you are what you eat... I try to eat good stuff with music and entertainment ... no way close to perfect but I sure do try ..

if we are open to the Lord to tell us He will certainly let you know when to turn something off ..music or radio or tv...

I have been thinking a lot about what it was like before men were aware of "the knowledge of good and evil"...

how wonderful it will be to return to that place where we only know that which is good again...

I'm working on it now... :)

  6. Just wanted to stop by and see the new set up.. bul alas I don't have time to do that either .. little man wants to go swimming so gramma needs to go ..

when time is more plenteous .. like after school starts .. I will be back to visit with ya.. :) ..

enjoy every day the Lord has given ya.. and everyone Gos has allowed you to spend it with..

  7. Well... in the sense that if you are a Christian and commit the ultimate rebellion against God and kill that which He created and after you are dead you cannot say oops I am sorry I did that ..you cannot repent... in that sense unforgivable ..

But .. I do not believe it will get you a ticket to hell if you are indeed His child...

The flesh and the devil are strong enemies in our lives and if we are not careful they can drag us down into pits that may seem to us...no escaping it...

if we are foolish and deceived enough to think that is true and do kill our selves we are still His child...

I do think we will answer to that action when we see Him face to face ...

    Yup...

  8. Where your child goes to school is very important ...

If you like the school and what they contribute to the physical ,educational and spiritual well being to your child and you can live with their terms .. well then, enjoy the privilege of their education of your child..

if not..find a place where your child is better off...

if you feel God is telling you to remove them then do so...

Praying the Lord will guide you in all your choices... :)

This sounds like a Baptist school to me..;-)...

sounds like one of those good cults...

    Cult...

A system of religious beliefs and rituals

  9. I remember wrongs done to me..does that make me ungodly ?

The OP just pasted a Bible verse. I don't think anyone is saying that at all sis :emot-heartbeat:

I am really trying to make a point ..and I am pushing to make it because I believe it is important..

thanks for the hugs sweetie ...

what I am after is to say it is not possible except for God's intervention in our minds (or some traumatic situation) for us to forget wrongs done to us even though we have forgiven completely or even not forgiven and need too...

the new translation (keep no record of wrong) would probably lead you to think to yourself "oh my, I remember that wrong ..I must be bad.."

No No no..... that is what I am trying to get across...

It is important to read and interpret correctly...

if I don't I could spend years hating myself because I cannot make myself come in to that place I believe I should be...

all with good intentions but wrong premise...

as I said earlier and nebula also said ... we are not to start making a list of wrongs done to us...nothing at all to do with forgetting it happened...

I do believe the statement "forgive and forget' can very much be a stumbling for many who cannot forget although they have forgiven..

1Co 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant

    1Co 13:5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;

1Co 13:6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.

Ok... I will get down now and see you all later..

  10. agape..

1Co 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant

    1Co 13:5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;

1Co 13:6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.

ESV... the most liberal translation I read...

and that is a good point...

I fall way short of His perfect love ... but see it on occasion.. :emot-questioned:

  11. Sigh... my brain put the first two posts together and responded to them ... :emot-questioned:

"memory loss" got mixed up with keep "no record" and they are definitely different...

but...just because I don't "keep a record" of something does not mean I necessarily forget about it...

    although in eternity ..no worries...

  12. I cannot find a translation that says that..

1Co 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant

    1Co 13:5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;

1Co 13:6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.

  13. So these are all good points you have all made... BUT... doesn't this scare you? It terrifies me, every time I fall to sin... knowingly.
