I completely understand where you're coming from! If it isn't skin tight or letting it all show.....it has something like "hot" or "baby" printed across the rear! She's only 14 but thank goodness I can share my clothes with my daughter. I'm not one for shopping in mall stores or even WalMart for clothes. I like to go to second hand stores. You can find really nice name brand clothes (that cover your body) at a fraction of the price. I grew up in hand-me-downs so it's no big deal.

While I wouldn't equate raising my children with raising dogs, I agree that there aren't bad dogs.....just bad owners. That speech was tried with the different levels of government but it didn't fly.

We have a provincial bylaw banning certain breeds of dogs and a new municiple bylaw that is as follows...... Smoking is an addiction and makes the person a slave to it so yes, it is a sin.

I would still seek counselling first. They are the professionals. If her husband is just new to the Lord, what if his faith isn't yet strong enough to go through this? Where would that leave them if her confession to her husband caused him to say "forget it" to the Lord? These are things we screen names on computers don't know. I would listen to the advice of Christian counselling or a pastor first, not just jump in head first.

I understand what you mean but, when you meet the girl the Lord sends your way, I hardly think you will go right to the church and marry her. You'll date her for a period of time first I'm just so thankful that the relationship was not.....I repeat, not a sexual one. When my son told me that, I actually dropped to my knees, thanked God and cried. My son just smiled at me and said, "I won't be like that mom"

I don't know how old your friend is but.....I just went through this with my son. He's 19 and his girlfriend of nearly 3 years dumped him......through an Instant Message no less He just broke his heart on my shoulder and it tore me up All I can say is be supportive of your friend. Don't tell him he's better off without her and don't bad mouth her. Just be there for him and let him know that you have ears if he wants to talk
