  1. http://www.mailinator.com/mailinator/index.jsp Free DISPOSABLE TEMPORARY email addresses. I use it all the time and it works really well.
  2. I have seen so many professing Christians fall into this trap. Nowhere in the Bible does anyone prophesy according to auras. You do not have to train yourself to see auras, you do need to seek the Lord continually. I myself have practiced witchcraft during earlier times in my life. Guess what, yes, it is real. & it really opens you up to the devil stealing from your life. Witchcraft and much of the new age mumbo jumbo glorifies self and the will of self, and I don't know a human alive whom I would say deserved to have their will done no matter what their motives may be. If someone tells you this is okay to do and they are for this then they are NOT basing their beliefs on the word of the Lord.
  3. Don't be concerned about finding a mate. Just pray about it and wait...you don't have to work to find a mate...your Heavenly Father will find a wife for you and tell you, hey there she is. No worries...just trust Him.
  4. I don't think Jesus entered into the places of worship of other religions, and I do not think that a Christian should either.
  5. This year I will not be buying presents for any of my kids. We will be together, we will have dinner, we will celebrate our Lord but we will NOT participate in gift giving or buying. I am thinking that perhaps I will get my kids to particiapte in charitable causes and then we can watch some movies and eat a wonderful dinner together. I've never been really big on Christmas...none of my kids knew about Santa until school.
  6. I don't think that making duplicate threads is intentional...no one is doing it on purpose I think. If we make all these no multiple posting rules people will just get lost. You want to encourage people to post, not be afraid of duplicating something already posted.
  7. There are risks associated with abortion and even if they did not agree with her decision they should at least know that she is about to have a risky medical procedure. She may hate you but save her from doing this. Knowing that she really does believe in God an abortion could make her think she can never come back to him. As someone who has had an abortion, please tell her family immediatly. If something did happen to her they would be responsible for her 1st child and they have a right to know what's going on. ALSO, we should all pray about this. Father, We ask that you protect this woman from herself and her unborn child. We put her in your hands and ask that your will be done in this situation. In Yeshua's name, Amen
  8. I love my pets, and I'm involved in rescue. I get a sense of fulfilment when I rescue. I think it's because we were meant to be caretakers of the plants and animals of this world.
  9. Thank you for the reminder. I have been very "tired" after being assaulted by the enemy...I should know what I've been promised and be willing to fight for it more than I have been.
  10. I have personally and literally heard God's voice. He said my husband's name out loud when my husband was bad mouthing someone and wishing them dead before he was even a believer. I think this helped lead my husband to the Lord in the long run...so yes, miracles do happen, both big and small.
  11. well, i did find out what was motivating my mother in law. she dropped outta school to get married and has felt worthless ever since. my oldest daughter has always been a straight a student so she has invested all her hope in my daughter. i am letting my daughter go to homeschool for 30 days until my state required notice of intent is acknowledged. if i had just allowed her to continue attending public school even though things were quickly getting bad there, i wouold have not been working in my daughter's best interests and would have been basically still allowing my mother in law to control my decisions. My husband did tell his mom he was fully behind me and that I would be the one home schooling her. the thing that has gotten to me the most is that my mother in law was manipulated by her mother in law and shared with me many times how she hated this...and now she wants to repeat it? i'm still working on getting over my anger on this.
  12. I have decided to take my daughter out of school to homeschool her, due to situations that are happening in the school. My mother in law does not want me to home school her but wants her friend to (PERMANENTLY) because she is concerned that Danie'l will not get the education she needs with me teaching her. I am very mad over this but also feel that I should let Danie'l go to be taught by my mother in laws friend for the 30 days it takes to set up my home school. (My notice of intent takes that long) This would be me obeying the law. Well, how do I handle this in front of my daughter who has no faith in my teaching abilities due to her grandma' s questioning my abilities. Do I just shut up and do it, or talk with my daughter about how her grandma is wrong or what. Part of me wants to put her back in the public school for the 30 days but I know that is my pride and I don't think that would be in my daughter's best interest...but you know how the flesh hates feeling manipulated by another. Any advice on what is right?
  13. It's actually a variation off of some other recipe I ran across on the internet. It had called for salad oil....I didn't have that so I added fish oil.
