  1. Thanks people for the wonderful wisdom & insight. As a true patriot w/ a honorable discharge it was very hard for me to accept & receive what people who loved me were sharing w/ me. Its comparable to accepting the Lords will in your life over your own. We must break the shell of the old man & become new. A true patriot will challenge corrupt leadership. We should not exchange our rights for security because we would deserve neither. Picture a nazi in a park at a family picnic (or cameras at every corner). There are people who are currently enlisted who cannot comment on this. It is our duty as former enlisted to seek the truth in every dark corner. Hamburger what you said rings true. We may not get all the answers in our lifetime but our forefathers who died perserving our freedom & way of life (constitution, bill of rights) should not die in vain (including our brothers in arms today). There is something terribly wrong when two war heroes Mcveigh, & Mohammed come back to kill their own. Is this conspiracy? Lets pray to God it is, if not the future is very dark.
  2. Much of Patrick's life is shrouded in mystery and historians differ on the probable chronology of the saint's life. Fortunately, he has left behind two documents, his Confession and his Letter to Coroticus, which describe some of his experiences. He was not the first Christian missionary to reach Ireland, but the principal credit for converting the pagan island and establishing the Celtic church belongs to him. He was the son of a Roman official, Calpurnius, living probably in Wales. As a boy of sixteen, Patrick was captured by raiders and sold to an Irish chieftain, Milchu. He spent years in slavery, herding sheep on Slemish Mountain in Co. Antrim. He escaped following a dream in which a voice told him a ship would be waiting to take him to his own country. After a journey of 200 miles he found the ship, and was eventually able to return to his family. One night, in a dream, he heard voices calling him back to Ireland. It is thought that he studied under Saint Germanus at Auxerre, France, and that his mission to Ireland was approved due to the early death of Saint Palladius, who had been sent as a bishop to the Irish "believing in Christ" in 431. Consequently, 432 is the traditional date for Patrick's voyage to Ireland, which ended on the shores of Strangford Lough. He quickly made a convert of a local chief named Dichu, who gave him a barn at Saul, Co. Down, for his first church. Before long Patrick made his way to the Hill of Tara, Co. Meath, seat of the high king of Ireland. Arriving on the eve of Easter, he lit a paschal fire on the nearby Hill of Slane. At this time of year, it was pagan practice to put out all fires before a new one was lit at Tara. When the druids at Tara saw the light from Slane, they warned King Laoghaire that he must extinguish it or it would burn forever. Patrick was summoned to Tara, and on the way he and his followers chanted the hymn known as "The Lorica" or "Saint Patrick's Breastplate".
  3. What does that have to do with billionaires? Alot, I believe. As a billionaire, it would be a great opportunity to put back money into something worthy, like starvation and helping others (children). Sure many billionaires give to charities - fantastic. Would a few more dollars need to be put forward to help matters? Abs olutely. As a percentage of income, the wealthy give more to charities than average folk do. It is a misconception that the wealthy are also tightwads. But why are the wealthy obligated to do more than anyone else? maybe because they can afford to. Why would you say that? How do you know what "they" can afford to do or not do? Assuming "they" already give more than you do as a percentage of their income, you would expect them give even more? Why? So you can get off the hook and give less? exactly

  5. Do you have a hard time trusting? Do you trust your own logic? I love you & only want you to be saved from eternal punishment. This world is dead & empty. We are promised a place. We only have the best intention for you. I'm begging you to not turn your back on the Lord while you still have the chance. Please give it a try my friend man or woman. You will be in a place where you can trust & people will respect you for your ideas. What emanates from the flesh is death what emanates from the spirit is life.
  6. Its a level of discernment or perspective of what is rational relevant or true. The Lords ways are not our ways. Carnal thinking is similar to lets say dogs to humans. What level of rational thinking does a dog have? Does animals have souls? Do you believe in having a soul or are you just flesh?
  7. Maybe a tradition like the self mutilation
  8. What does it mean when they see the water under the moonlight?
  9. Maybe not run away but face it w/ the armor we are given?
  10. There was a movie called the village. You should see it.
  11. No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
  12. People have seen the fruits of this religion & need no more proof of its true intention.
  13. Your right believing in a supernatural being does not make you moral. Someone claiming to be of faith means nothing that is why we are to judge by their fruits. The supernatural being has given us a moral code to live by which is the foundation of all mans laws. Do unto others etc... This is one of the things that seperates us from the self righteous who live by their own law & understanding.
  14. Due to the KKK and other hate groups not living by faith invalidates them because the Lord knows their hearts. They are considered as evil as a nonbeliever. It could be worse because they are using faith as a veil which any practical person of faith or not can plainly see making your argument very lame. Under this premise the suicide bombers acting out of faith are dying for God. They worship the God of death which is a different master.
  15. She grew up in Texas. She had the oppurtunity but probably took a pass like many others. There are five men claiming to be the father of her baby ,what a disgrace.
  16. I still do it & probably will always do it.
  17. Thanks A.k. & Joe. I am likeminded w/ you & received what you said w/ delight.
  18. 6But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives. Pharaoh said, "Who is the LORD, that I should obey him and let Israel go? I do not know the LORD and I will not let Israel go." But to this day the LORD has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear If only they were wise and would understand this and discern what their end will be Yet they say to God, 'Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways. Why do you boast of evil, you mighty man? Why do you boast all day long, you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God? 3What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? 4Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar.
  19. Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him.
  20. Wisdom Warns 20Wisdom shouts in the street, She lifts her voice in the square; 21At the head of the noisy streets she cries out; At the entrance of the gates in the city she utters her sayings: 22"How long, O naive ones, will you love being simple-minded? And scoffers delight themselves in scoffing And fools hate knowledge? 23"Turn to my reproof, Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. 24"Because I called and you refused, I stretched out my hand and no one paid attention; 25And you neglected all my counsel And did not want my reproof; 26I will also laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your dread comes, 27When your dread comes like a storm And your calamity comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. 28"Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently but they will not find me, 29Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD. 30"They would not accept my counsel, They spurned all my reproof. 31"So they shall eat of the fruit of their own way And be satiated with their own devices. 32"For the waywardness of the naive will kill them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them. 33"But he who listens to me shall live securely And will be at ease from the dread of evil."
