i would ask for the same thing solomon asked for knoledge and wisdom so that i may make the right decisions.........oak

i think it is asking GOD to protect us from temptation or to keep us from being tempted and its asking GOD to lead us down a path that GOD has made for us to follow and to keep temptation out of out paths....oak

Please explain in detail what traits you admire in your wife or husband or even your best friend that you can relate to God's word in?

even tho we are going thru some really tough times her strength has never faltered and even tho i am disabled and i thought she didnt love me anymore she said i took a vow for better or worse in sickness and in health that she will continue to love and cherish me......end that just makes me love her even more since i cant be strong she has taken that and has become stronger. even tho she aint a true christian but she does believe in JESUS and i know she prays alot because i can feel the holy spirit come down and envelope her and gives her the strength to continue on......she told me that she made a vow to GOD and she will not break that vow.........oak

my faith is ever increasing everytime i get thru one of GODS trials even tho i have to lean on others for support my faith grows stronger (read my post in prayer forumm called"im messed up" and that will help you understand just how strong my faith is.....without the help that GOD has sent to me i wouldnt be here today.......i talk to GOD and i can feel his presence all around me and JESUS in my heart i know i can make it thru in trial that GOD puts me thru and if GOD sees me faultering HE sends me here so that i maybe lifted up with the compassion and love of others to keep me going and i try to do the same to those who are in need of a friend to help them thru their trials......oak

my relationship with GOD is very complicated i know HE is with me for i feel HIS presence all around me and i feel it more in times of much pain and suffering that im going thru. i talk to HIM daily i read his word which increases my relationship with HIM i believe HE gave HIS only son JESUS to die for our sins but its is more than that thru HIS stripes we can find healing and comfort in HIS hands and when we are at our lowest HE is there giving us strength to get back up and continue the walk with HIM i have slipped from time to time so he send helpers to help us thru the rough times my friends brothers and sisters in CHRIST to help me thru the rugh times and i know he has never abandond me..and in my walk i happen to come across someone who needs help i help them without a second thought and i will pray for this person to find peace in the LORD. if i can do that my relationship becomes stronger........oak

On my local Christian radio, they were discussing what the life of a human being is worth.. or can you give it a value...Apparently it has been assessed by some folks and they have determined that a human beings life is worth around $3.60.....

Some person has put a "LIFE" on eBay and so far there has been around 8 bids for it...........

im going to make this post without readung what the others have said..in the secular world i aint worth anything......but to GOD i am priceless GODS love flows thru us so that we may show others GODS love we are doing HIS will not ours and if i can bring just one person to GOD thru my testimony or my life experiences and show how much GOD loves us then i am worth something nd i believe that because of my faith i am priceless i talk to GOD all day long i praise and worship GOD everyday i read his word and become strenggthrned by it so that i may find another and lead them to GOD i dont care what the secular world says to GOD we are all priceless for HE gave HIS own son to die for us so that thru HIM we may have everlasting life,......thank you GOD for giving us your son JESUS CHRIST that thru HIM we may see your glory and we will sing praises and worship you all our days and dance unto the LORD for we are saved by believing that JESUS died to save us from eternal death.....amen....oak

to add to my arsenal i will be inheireting a .45cal semi auto military issue pistol and a military issue 7.62mm m1 gerand a 12 gauge bump shot gun 12 gauge single shot shot gun and a double barreled 12 gauge shot gun and maybe the bayonet for the m1. yes i shot people that was my job infantry i dont regret doing it it was me or him he missed i didnt but it wasnt in anger or malice i was just doing what i was trained to do......and yes im a dead shot with my .30cal rifle at 500yds out....im better with a pistol......every year we hold a small competition brfore hunting season to make sure our rifles are zeroed in and out of the 6 of us i hit the mark in a pattern the size of a quarter with every weapon we had even my father-in-law was proud of me and the rest just said teeach me all i told them was to listen to their dads so in short im sad to say there aint that many people who can shoot like that and is crippled im actually better with knives and weaponless than i am with a rifle.......but i am really really harmless to my friends.......as long as the knock first so the dogs know its ok......

im sorry spock but according to what you just wrote alot of us aint christians according to what you have said here is we are fakes......i dont go to a church because my disablilities wont allow me to go to one, i have alway strived to do the right thing so according to you i am putting myself above GOD i dont think so i am humbling myself to GOD and doing what HE want me to do . a church is just a buildding for people to come together the real church is inside you, you are the LORDS church aint it written in the bible somewhere that says that....dont judge a person by his cover but by whats inside of him should he be judged and there is only one judge and we sinners will die and be judged by our deeds and our judgements and what is in our hearts..not that we dont go to a building to be together or that we do good deeds just for ourselves..but if we do these good deeds in the name of the LORD doesnt that make us less and the person we helped more?????? i believe your statement to be false and judgemental to those who are true cristians doing the LORDS work.......

In the handicap accesible row we sit in at church, there is my husband who is paraplegic, Linda who is quadreplegic and unable to even turn her head, and Daniel who is advancing more and more in his MS and can barely walk across a room without falling. Sometimes he uses his motorized scooter. Perhaps the hard wood pews hurt you? I bet you could find a church more than willing to acomodate your handicap and provide you a padded chair. We have two padded chairs in our row just for that purpose and that is where Daniel sits when he does not use his scooter. Daniel also comes while everyone is in Sunday School so he can get to his seat without having to dodge through crowds. We also have one of our interpretors who is blind (he became fluent in sign language before turning blind), and everyone is more than happy to give him a ride as obviously he is unable to drive.

yes i have a motorized chair but all the churches are to far away for me to yake it there and noone has a way to haul my chair.....thats why i come here.......oak

This may sound weird, but I just have to praise God that my name has not made it onto the battle roster yet! It hasn't even came up in the meetings they have had about deployment. As much as I would like to deploy and fight for my country though, I'm happy for the chance to get some more schooling done. Not only has He blessed me with no schedule deployments yet, He has also provided for me a great unit. One that has some amazing leaders in it, which makes life alot easier. I'll admit though last year at this time I was so scared about doing the whole Army Reserves thing, but now I'm really starting to love it. God's plans are always the best ones!!!

if it was at all posible i would be willing to take your place if you are deployed i dont know what your mos in but im infantry11b and if i could just get over there i would be a grea asset to the front line troops.....oak.......thank you for serving.......
