hi there i believe this is the verse your looking for we did a study awhile back during sunday school about this the verse is Jude 1: 9 is the only verse i know of that records it

the verse in Judges 1:19 KJV i don't get this i must be missing something it says "And the LORD was with judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron." unless i am missing something more the this story, i am not well versed in what is happening in judges enough to understand it maybe. i just don't understand why it says that he Could Not drive them out if the LORD was with Judah I would think he could have done it no? just wanted to throw this on here while i study it out myself, and see if any of you wonderful people could share your various views on this i am very curious about it.

Hi there, been tryign to witness to a friend of mine but he is also a Historian which can make it challenging, he was saying that the crucifiction part of nw testament is flawed in that according to roman law thiefs were never crucified, it was reserved for people of threat to the government. so i could see why jesus would warrant it given that he came proclaiming a way to heaven which in an economic view would drain the various religious institutions of money given that peopel were not paying for sacrifices or what have you. anyone have any info on this? just curious

hi there, i am recently married (in october) and my wife and i have completely different interests. but we truly believe God has brought us together for one purpose or another. the difficulty is we have nothing to talk about usually we watch movies on the weekends etc but it makes her nervous that we dont talk about just stuff i guess. shes worried it is going to lead to us fallign apart, which i can understand, which is kind of why i am here. obviously people here will not know what we should talk about you would need a list of everythign we do. however i was wondering if you could give some advice of any kind, both of our jobs are very routine based nothign really ever changes at all. so the how was your day? question usually lasts about 5 mins or so which leaves us both bored out of our wits. I want to make this work but i am not sure how. Thanks in advance. Josh

Hi there and thanks for reading. I am looking for advice in how to deal with a situation that i got myself into. when i started workign at this new job about 2 years ago i was being faithful to christ and being a good witness and over time i have fallen far away, i stil go to church weekly and am active in my church but my workplace witness has gone down hill my attitude actions and language as well. part of em wants to blame it on work stress but i know that really is not the factor i have chosen to walk away from god for 40 hrs a week. i used to invite people to church now i dont. however this problem i know how to fix.. sort of. how can i get back to where i was? i am nto worried about people judging me however it is hard to change so drastically back the other way. maybe this is not makign sense but does anyone know what i am trying to say? any advice would be help ful. i know to just try and change my attitude but its very hard.

Hi there ray, ah the question that i think has been asked by every man at leat once in his lifetime lol. as for an answer, there is really not one single response i could give you that would hit every aspect. however if you do not mind i would rephrase your question to what do women Need? any man can give a woman what she wants trick is giving her what her soul craves. what God has put into her to need more than anything. and i guess in short that would be Love yeah the big L word i know heard it a billion times yadda yadda. My advice, be the biblical example of a husband ( even though you may not be married to the person) Be a Protector Providor Leader and Teacher. Of course you will want to use wisdom in these areas and make sure what ti is what god wants for your life. 1st and foremost pray about it and read daily. fast. Not sure if you are much of a reader or not however if your looking for a good book that is not to long there is a book by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs called Love & Respect I have read a few relationship books if you will some with biblical background others without and i have to say this guy has done his research, and it has a solid biblical background he nails it right on the head talks about what women need but also what men need. explains a lot of the gray areas in communication. not saying ti will fix all of the problems or anything however God made women a certain way the bible gives a clear guide as to what they need from a man. like anythign be faithful in what god has given/taught you and his plan for your life will be much easier to follow. just mentioning this as a brother in christ that book helped my marriage a ton. hi there I am getting married this saturday i am not overly anxious about the whole thing, however i do not like beign up in front of people for any length of time, does anyone have any advice as to how to cope other than the picturing people naked... lol

I forget the verse so i apologize, but there is a verse about not doing it with malice Malice - A desire to harm others or to see others suffer; extreme ill will or spite. Law. The intent, without just cause or reason, to commit a wrongful act that will result in harm to another Sorry i can't think of the verse but if i remember correctly it does by no means saying " yeah killing is ok" but basically says if it's not done in revenge or retribution planned out etc and your not getting some kind of joy from it wether it be your own motivations or you enjoy seeing others suffer your pretty much ok. I think in Gods eyes your in good shape as long as you have prayed about that change and God has confirmed it in his word for you. God Bless, Josh

hmm those don't seem to fit the bill, i was thinking about it some more and i think ti says something like " faith allows our mind to see what our eyes cannot" that is not verbatum by any means but something to that effect, thank you for trying to help me with this i appreciate it.

There is a quote by someone here it possibly is a verse, someone here has it as their sig? i think is what they are called like the multi colored text at the bottom of every post etc. it has somethign to do with faith i feel kind of dumb now i cant think of any part of it lol so yeah if anyway has any idea what i am talkign about pelase let me know what it is, sorry i knwo i am not giving a lot of info to go i just know it was about faith an encouraging statement of some kind

Hey there folks it is not my place to say, i feel God works on the personal basis with all of us sometimes, to those who would read this persons message and shoot it down so to speak to each his own i suppose but i would ask that you read 1 Thessalonians 5:19 and really meditate on that verse and think about all the facets of what that statement say. of course it is nto my place to judge i am simply trying to offer some constructive criticism so to speak. I will pray for both of you that this stronghold Satan has in his life will be broken down and that you will be able to be an encouragment and trusting friend throughout the whole process. Josh

I think all men have this struggle at one point or another, some it may be just a split second and it's done others it continues, i don't think there is anything wrong with noticing if someone is attractive, of course your going to notice, but the important thing to keep straight is not to fantasize about anything you see an attractive girl, acknowledge it and then pass by i almost look at it on the same lines as the " be angry and sin not" but more along the lines of " aknowledge and sin not" for myself i have found that keeping direct eye contact with someone durign a conversation helps that and really focus on that it helps a ton. as for others in the room i try to set myself in such a way that i cannot see them, for example if a girl sits in front of you that is attractive sit in front of her, or position yourself in such a way that they will not be in your direct line of sight, so that you would have to go out of your way to look at them. if i am walking out in public i tend to focus on various other things either walk along ad keep my eyes on tops of trees, looking at the sky ground or reading the license plates on cars to my right as a girl walks past me on my left. i have found these help a bundle for myself hopefulyl theyu will help you as well. josh
