  1. Not to hijack your thread Karen, but I owe you a public apology and I would like to offer it now. You and I had a run in about something a year or so ago. I was rude, sarcastic and down right mean. I owe you and apology and also thanks for helping (and I know praying) about a problem I came to you with a couple of months ago. You conducted yourself in a very Christ like manner, myself however........ :24:

Thank you and God bless you! :whistling:

Sister, I know I can rub people wrong at times. :24: I have forgiven and ask to be forgiven for my behavior also.

I might not have been openly but inwardly I had taken offense. I had to work through it.

I guess we can all say we have been on both sides of this..

    I consider you my Sis..

    Thank you, Blessings, Karen

  2. I was happy that they made sure to include my deliverance from the tormenting voices.

Would you like to share some more on that?

Hi Neb~ I can.. My mind had been opened to the demonic realm by me having open doors for them to come in.

Drugs and lawlessness of course was a big door. But the others came from my emotional traumas and even occult involvment.

My torment was manifesting the same symptoms of paranoid schizoprehenia(sp). Secular would have had me committed and only offer the psychotrophic meds to try and shut down the voices I heard all the time. Problem was they had a right to be there.. Deliverance and emotional healing set me free.

    Blessings, Karen

  5. wow, thats an insane testimony! :emot-cheering:

it sounds like there is soooooooooo much to say though than they had time to air. like, what it must have been like for you growing up and what it was like in prison.

i was also curious how you felt when u were slammed with a 10yr sentence?

Peaches~yes, it was a sketchie version of my story. I was happy that they made sure to include my deliverance from the tormenting voices.. Too many are being committed &/or heavily medicated for the very same thing that I was delivered from.

My prison time was not that bad. It was the time the Lord revealed Himself to me in ways that He wold not have been able to me had I been out trying to piece my life back together myself. You see my upbringing was not Christian. I only knew dysfunction..

As far as the 10 year sentence, it was reduced to 3 years when I went to court to plead out. Prevously I was looking at 20 to life.. And I was held with out a bond...

I knew there were consequenses for my behavior. There was no "get out of jail free card" for me.

You see I had witnessed so many who didn't make it out alive, so I truly was thankful for jail/prison.

The addiction stats of those who try "meth" once is 98%. The ones who die in it is 92%. SO yes I am truly blessed.

    Micah 7:7-9

    7. But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord. I wait for God my Savior, my God will hear me. 8. Do not gloat over me my enemy (devil)! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. 9. Because I have sinned against Him. I will bear the Lord's wrath, until He pleads my case and establishes my right. HE will bring me out into the light. I will see HIS rightousness..

    Bless you, Karen

  6. To God be all the glory! He came to me just in time. The short version was a very TAME version of my testimony.. :o

Needless to say I was a very hurt person hiding behind a lawless front.. That is the key to reaching those who society thinks are throw aways... get to the hurt places and they can hear the truth from God and it will overthrow the lies they have bought in to..amen...

Thank you for letting me share with my WB family..

    Blessings, Karen

EX~you can add me as your friend anyday.. :emot-highfive: Doesn't mean I will agree with you all the time.. But you are use to that..

  7. I did see it. Wow, what a testimony! Very inspiring. How did you happen to be on?

The District Council/ Assembly of God in Oklahoma was contacted by one of the 700 club producers for a salvation testimony. I was the one they refered and the 700 club came to Oklahoma to do a couple of different interviews.

  8. Greetings,

Just a note to let those who are interested, today is the day my salvation story will be aired on the 700 club.

    I haven't seen it so I am a little aprehensive.. :th_praying:

Check your local braodcasting for specific times.

  9. I'll be at work........................

Hey Sis, Most people should be at that time.. :emot-cheering:. I make the mistake of thinking everyone works at home like me.

I am sure that it has a late time slot on other christian broadcating in your local area that you can check if you would like to see..

    Blessings, Karen

  10. I really appreciated reading (most) of tsth's thread. This issue is definitely about God's order. from creation God made man to be in authority over the woman. Just because men don't always step up does not mean that women have the right to disobey by taking such authority to themselves. Please exercise some humility, people, and try not to attack each other. Also, I would like to stay on topic and not digress to cartoons. How nice it would be if some of you were to look at this not situationally, but Biblically. What I am setting forth is that the standard ought to be men in authority. We cannot make the exceptions the rule. Just because there are alot of situations in families where this doesn't work out (i.e. single moms) doesn't mean that we shouldn't strive for what God intended from the beginning. Don't use circumstances to justify throwing off God's order just because you're in a place where it's not happening. We MUST obey God even if eveyone around us isn't.

    Hello Honeybee,

I come with all humility and I have a desire to know God's word and His word only as the truth. I believe that there is a vast difference in what God ordained in a relationship as the man being the head of his wife and Christians (male or female) roles in the church today. When 1 Timothy is quoted as being an ordinance for the Body of Christ on how the church should be put in order, my gaurders come up because Paul was writing to Timothy (chapter 1:2) some advise on some questions he had to paul. These letters to Timothy were not addressed to the church like other Epistles are. we do know that Paul, in these two books, is responding to something Timothy said or asked unless Paul was just shooting from the hip and speeking something randomly which I doubt was the case. Communications go two ways, not just one way. Have you ever gotten a letter from your pastor on instructions on something totaly random that you have had no communications about?

I do believe that we can learn from the books of timothy and yes take it as the word of God, but when interpreting the bible we have to know the history of what was going on back then, who it is addressed to and who are the people involved, where is this taking place, when did this take place, etc... All of this stuff is pertinate to rightly dividing God's Word (2 Tim. 2:15). Threre are a lot of things in the bible that if not interpreted correctly, they would lead people in great error...for instince: Does the fact that both the OT and NT provide guidelines for slaves mean that the bible condones slavery? Should we put out a fleece before God (as Gideon did) when we need direction? Since David and Solomon had more than one wife, is it OK for us to have multiple wives as well? Should we greet one another with a holy physical kiss? Should we hate our parents (Luke 14:26)? If we have a problem with lust, should we gouge our eyes out? If we have a problem with our hands, should we amputate them? Should Women keep silent in the church today?

I would encourage you to study the history of the situation that Timothy was in and why Paul was speaking these things to Timothy. And I would also ask you to excersise some humility and ask God to open your eyes to the truth of all of this. I would also ask for at least three verses in the epistles to the church that say that we shouldn't have any women in authority. God spoke this in my heart this morning. "Jeff, if I had two people to choose from to send [yes even God is limited to who he can send because of peoples choice to disobey Him] to a particular nation to be the head of a minsitry that would preach the Word to many and get many saved, and those two people were a male and a female...if I choose the male and he decided not to obey me, would I just let this nation suffer and watch all of them go to hell because I refuse to send the woman because supposedly I won't allow women to be in authority? NO, I would send the woman." Take it as it is...women are vessles of the Lord just as much as men are vessles. I don't say all of this to attack you...I want the truth to be heard just as much as you do. After all, we are family...we serve the same God and We do agree on one thing for sure...He is King and the ONLY Wise God in whom we should all put our trust. amen.

    In Love,

    J

Thank you for taking the time to speak from your heart and also with wisdom. As a women that was called into ministry (ordained minister/teacher) I have heard the most critical judgement from those with in the body of Christ. Even posting on this board, "women pastors" has been a topic that I usually post very little on.

Putting things into perspective by using correct context to evaluate the epistles and the real meaning behind scripture is utmost importance.

    Again thank you.

    Blessings, Karen

I tend to agree with the transgenetic tampering being a door for the demonic again in these last days.. Therefore, YES.. I believe in the return of the NEPHILIM.. We will just call them differnt names in the end times..

BUMP... surely there is more interest than this... :th_frusty:

  12. Vickilynn~from what I gather about this tread is that the only posting you want are those that agree with your stance??? Those who you consider mentally unstable need only sympathy and medication???

Axxman and I both have given our opinion on the TOPIC and you accuse of of being OFF topic!

Certain "mental illnesses" are not untreatable with the right method of healing and treating the WHOLE person..

    I stand on that...

  14. Nephilim Post-Flood

The Nephilim of Genesis 6:4 also includes the phrase, "...and also after that...."

Apparently these strange events were not just to the period before the Flood.

We find that there seems to be some recurrence of those things which resulted in "giants" appearing in periods later in the Old Testament specifically the giant-races of Canaan.

There were a number of tribes such as the Rephaim, the Emim, the Horim, and Zamsummim, that were giants. The kingdom of Og, the King of Bashan, was the "land of the giants." Later, we also find Arba, Anak, and his seven sons (the "Anakim") also as giants, along with the famed Goliath and his four brothers.

When God had revealed to Abraham that the land of Canaan was to be given to him, Satan had over 400 years to plant his "mine field" of Nephilim!

When Moses sent his twelve spies to check out the Land of Canaan, they came back with the report of giants in the land.(The term used was Nephilim.) Their fear of the Nephilim resulted in their being relegated to wandering in the wilderness for 38 years.

When Joshua and the nation Israel later entered the land of Canaan, they were instructed to wipe out every man, woman and child of certain tribes. That strikes us as disturbingly severe. It would seem that in the Land of Canaan, there again was a "gene pool problem."

These Rephaim, Nephilim, and others seem to have been established as an advance guard to obstruct Israel's possession of the Promised Land. Was this another stratagy of Satan?

    The Days of Noah

Perhaps the most direct prophetic reference involving these things was the peculiar warning of our Lord Jesus Himself:

And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

    Luke 17:26

What does that mean? He also warned:

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

    Luke 21:25,26

Is it possible that the UFOs - and their occupants - are part of an end-time scenario?

(Exerpts taken from Dr. Chuck Missler)

My PERSONAL opinion is the satanic flood we have opened through our ignorance and willful disobedience will gradually increase.

As the population in the days of Noah became so given over to evil... thought, word, and deed.. we are following suit.

Generational curses start manifesting at earlier childhood ages.. hummm, wonder what those would look like

Of course those also double down.. Does anyone see any of this going on in society today??

Of course being given over to curses (whether they be generational, sin related, satanic in origin, or spoken) will produce more mental illness and irrational behaviors. Haven't seen any of this going on have we??? :24:

BTW~curses are exacted by the legalist.. satan and his minions..

The final episode can be the "alien intervention" to SAVE man from himself.. Grand delusion...

Look up, for your redemption draweth neigh...

    Blessings, Karen

  15. I am on topic~Thank you...

    Shalom Karen,

No dear, you are not, like it or not. Please read the OP post. You will see that this topic is not about your belief that something can be "cast out" from a Believer. This is about calling ill people sinners and telling them to repent.

Again, as the OP of this thread, we are not promoting or debating your opinions about demon possession or anything that you think can be "cast out" of a Believer. It is not on topic and we won't go there.

This thread has a specific topic as to why Christians will treat other Christians as SINNERS and tell them to repent when they are ill with mental disease.

Viskilynn~so as OP you want only to address the problem of labeling people you THINK have "mental illness" as sinners and telling them they need to repent?? That is what the topic is about???

You don't want to cover the possible answer to help them??

I am not trying to cause controversy..

    Blessings, Karen

    Shalom Karen,

I believe you are. And you are trying to hijack this thread to promote your own agenda.

You've been asked repeatedly by the OP to cease promoting your opinions about casting out demons and you refuse.

We'll let the Mods handle this.

Truly sorry to cause you so much commotion...

    Blessings,Karen

  17. Vickilynn~

I am not advocating "just repentance:. In healing ministry you go beyond that and cast it out.. whatever it is called.

Have you tried this with this Sister??

    Blessings, Karen

    Shalom Karen,

No one said YOU advocated anything. Actually, if you've read the thread, the topic is a split from another thread where people said those with mental illness should just repent. No one is referring to you Karen.

If she is a born-again Christian she cannot be not demon possessed and has nothing to be "cast out", that's not what we're discussing here. Please, let's stay on Topic. Thank you!

    I am on topic~Thank you...

Wwhen you make a statement about someone suffering with a "disorder" and the way you help them is not doing them any good. WHY wont you try something else?? You confuse the "possessed" word and that always will bring offence..

I am sharing what I believe the answer to the problem.

    Blesssings, Karen
