Really? I must have missed that one. Can you post a link? Watch or read any news source that isn't based in America. A few good links would be the BBC News webpage, The Times Online, etc etc. And how does Saddam being out of power actually make you feel safer? How exactly was he threatening you? Oh and no nation is actually innocent of mass murder. Every large modern empire has crushed and destroyed a few other races on their way up to power. Look up the Boer War, or do some reading into the extermination of American Indians. England and America have some of the bloodiest hands of all.

So as long as you can find a passage in the Bible that agree's with your views, even if an opposing passage disagree's with it, your view is never the less correct? Groovy.

I have a 4-year old daughter. I told her one day not to drink bleach: "Don't drink that. Bleach is bad. It will kill you." Am I keeping her in the dark? God has not decided not to help us. He sent His Son to die in our stead, so that we might have peace in this age and eternal life in the age to come. Just because His way of peace and salvation does not match your own ideals doesn't mean that He's malevolent. After all, He wouldn't be God if He simply did things at the whims of men, would He? No but if she did drink you bleach you wouldn't stand by and let her die would you - and it would be a slow agonizing death. You would rush her to hospital to make sure she got the medical attention she needed as soon as possible. Now, if that ever occured and you stepped in and saved her, do you think you have stopped her learning an important lesson? Or do you think you where being a responsible parent? Most courts would like to know how your daughter was able to get hold of bleach in the first place, to actually drink it. Social Services (or the american equivilent) would be called in, and your ability as a parent, would in fact be questioned.

What about the failed cloning attempts? Most cloning attempts develop deformed in some way or another, often fatally so. What would you do with a human clone who's arms and legs grew in the wrong places on the torso? What about failed artificial insemination attempts? They are the SAME thing. Why aren't you against that? Because it's now "socially acceptable

Hitler made similer arguments about Jews. it's funny how some things never change. Since clones don't have souls, what do you say to identicle twins? How do you decide which one has the soul and which one doesn't? Thats a good point, how about children concieved by artifical insemination. I.E test tube babies - ones conceived outside of a mother womb, are they Souless? They made up a small percentage of are current society.

So you're saying if someone cloned me, and you met the "original" and the clone (assuming the two clones where the same age) you could be able to tell which clone was which?

Oh please explain to everyone about Balaam and his talking donkey and try to keep a straight face. Try to include examples on how the donkey has a voice box similar to a humans that allows it to create complex sounds at will. Please.

I demand that this post be removed! Not because I don't agree with what it's saying, I do very much so, but because he dared quote a religious source that isn't the bible. And everytime I do that, my posts get edited/removed.

Just a heads up buddy, an Atheist wouldn't think that a "God" put them anywhere. The entire notion of a "God" controlling their lives goes against atheism entirely.

My nothing to see here comment was because I wrote out a new post and lost it, and ended up double posting nothing. Athiests aren't unethical people at all, why do you think so 2thePoint? Because we don't believe some of the same things. Well lets do a little test. 1.) Do you think Murder is wrong ? If your answer is yes, you agree with me. Because I won't accept quotes without links, shows I havent studied this subject? I'm sorry but this is an internet forum, I get tried of people googling things and then copying and pasting fragments of articles as proof as to why their point is correct. Without the url so I can see what website it came from I discount anything I read. You will note that whenever I discuss things on these forums properly, anything i cite is linked to so people can see where it's come from. I could probably find any quote I want, if I take it from a larger article out of context. No this shows that you choose to believe I haven't studied this issue because of my stance in this thread. It shows you're quick to judge and when you to it's in a derogatory manner. You play of the main fear of most people, uncertainty. I am more at risk than a Christian? Why as i'm going to hell? Thats only your opinion, and if you read some of my other threads my opinion is in the majority, as there are by far more non christians in the world than there are christians, your religion tells you that its true and commands you to believe it. Gould was (he is now deceased, and I can guarantee you he believes in God and Creation now) the leading "poster child" for humanism and all-around anti-christianity, and a respected evolutionist. The others are scientists as well, respected and published. I got the names from BOOKS, kid. Once again you simply repeat the mantra "evolution is science" without a shred of hard science to prove it. This is really getting old. Sorry to disappoint you but there are thousands of studies that prove evolution happens, that one article does nothing to change that. I find the absence of references (to these alleged thousands of articles) quite interesting... Would you agree that there is an element of Faith in Evolution? I'm sorry but 5-6 unreferences quotes prove nothing. If you were honest, it wouldn't matter to you if I quoted 500 evolutionists. You cannot escape the fact that evolutionism is as biased as any other world view. "Unreferences"? I gave sources, so you can check for yourself that they are not out of context. The ugly fact is that your claim of only evolutionism being objective is false. Names you pull off the internet don't count as citing sources. And evolution is the only scientific we have and is backed up by thousands of studies. I will agree we don't know everything yet but its the only scientific explination we have.
