Matthew 5
The Fulfillment of the Law
17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
The above passage from Matthew clearly states that the Law remains and we are to try and keep them. As it is impossible to not break the Law at some time (otherwise Jesus would not have needed to die for our sins), Jesus forgives our sins when we ask him to forgive us. Verse 19-20, states that anyone who teaches that it is OK to break the Law will not have greatness in heaven and might even be refused entry.
By how you describe your boyfriend he could be in serious trouble.
The Law of God is there for our own protection. If God's Law is ignored what stops us from hurting each other. We can see from society what happens when people ignore the Law of the Land, so how much greater the suffering when society ignore God's Laws.
We must always be vary of anyone who turns us away from the truth. You say you had a strong faith before meeting this person, ask yourself, is he helping you into heaven. How did you meet him? Clearly not in a Church. Where did he get his teaching from? What is his reason for saying the things he says? Does he belong to a Christian cult? You must ask yourself these questions.
