I just didn't get the joke. Aren't Republicans known for their sense of humor, I mean, we aren't the PC advocates the dems are. So, oh, wait, I forgot, I'm in the service and am too stupid to understand a joke made by an astute intellectual like John Kerry.

Now Kerry's supporters are saying he was exercising his freedom of speech that we are fighting for. Then, they like to say that Bush should be the one apologizing to the troops, for sending them to Iraq in the first place. (Funny, the best tactic the dems have to defend themselves with is to attack President Bush).

Fox, is trying to export his problems to the US. What kind've friend continually undermines his friends and forces his friends to take care of his problems? Well, not someone that is going to remain a friend for long.

I was wondering how long it would take for some liberal to compare our wall with the Berlin Wall. The Berlin wall was also used to divide a Country/City. East Germans from West Germans. Now, if people want to start making comparisons, they need to retake English 101 and learn what a proper analogy is. Right now, those that are trying to criticize the border fence with that analogy just look desperate and foolish. China built their wall to protect them from foreign invaders and several thousand years of sovereignty have proven that a wall is a very effective barrier to keep invaders out. Illegal immigrants are Mexican Invaders (for the most part). MS13 uses the Mexican War outcome as justification to retake the southern territories by illegal invasion and outbreeding Americans.

The 4 firefighters suffering is over with, but it isn't for their 5th companion that was burned over 95% of his body, his every breath right now is an agonizing life/death struggle. We must pray for this Hero and his quick and merciful recovery. I will also pray that justice comes swiftly to the person/people responsible for this.

I do not think that the US really cares how Mexico feels about this. Mexico will have to either find a solution to their poverty, illiteracy and drug trafficking or export their problems somewhere else. Now, had Mexico actively engaged us in finding a viable, compromising solution to this problem, instead of using intimidating tactics, taking bribes, stealing from their citizens, etc, it would not have come to this. The world doesn't see America building a fence along its border with Canada does it?

Vex, Amor, Hillbilly: Let me get this straight. You all believe that Iran is completely justified in researching and should be allowed to posess nuclear weapons? Now, why didn't I think of this before, guess what, why doesn't America just sell half its nuclear stockpile to Iran? That would eliminate our national debt and make us a wealthy country, so that even the poorest amongst us will be a millionaire. Then, we could sell the other half of our nuclear stockpile to the bankrupt country of North Korea. We can accept our counterfeit currency from them as payment and restitution for the 40 years of sanctions the North Koreans had to go through after the Korean War. Yeah, that'll work and for now on, any country that attacks a country without military provocation, will immediately be given victim status and the world will be ordered to pay restitution for the desperate actions.

I call it emotional blackmail. The supporters of the "stemcell research" want the scientists to have free reign on whatever stem cells they can get their hands on. It's sickening, it'd be like harvesting a human being for body parts. Sure, make a clone of yourself, then keep your full grown other in deep freeze and remove the organs as you need them. That's how I see it with embryonic stem cell research, those embryos need every cell, every mineral, every enzyme to develop into a human being and people want to destroy the embryos and harvest their stem cells. That is barbaric beyond all boundries. There is no proof that embryonic stemcells help cure anything. Pioneers may say they need time, but every embryo that is destroyed in their research is one less human being that should be living. I will never support it. When a life or death decision has to be made, and there is no clear "right" choice in the matter, we should always choose life. God has a plan for every life. We must not interfere with that.

That's a violation of the UCMJ and those guys hould be punished for insubordination. They're basically deserters and I would revoke all their privileges and put them on base restriction if I was their commanding officer. You do not bypass the entire chain of command and attempt to subvert their authority. People get in trouble for going straight to a company grade commander, imagine going to the Commander in Chief and bypassing the entire branch of service. Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. Court Martial them.

I was serving overseas for both Presidential Elections and guess what, my ballots were not counted, guess how we felt, as Americans, serving in the military, overseas in a hostile environment and some pinhead says my vote doesn't count. How dare they, I will never vote for Al Gore or Jon Kerry, or anyone they endorse, ever. My service doesn't mean jack to them, I am so glad my sacrifice is such a great concern to our congressmen/women and senators. Thanks for nothing!!!

I don't think we will be up and leaving Iraq. I am sure will will be a presence there to deter any attempted coupes, or to deflect invasions from their enemies, like we are in South Korea. This could be the greatest news we've heard about Iraq in a long time. I am praying to God, that 100k soldiers will be home with their loved ones by Christmas next year.

"Stoploss." How can you use a backdoor draft on those that are already enlisted? Our oath of enlistment says we must follow the lawful orders of our superiors. Stoploss is a lawful order and can only be given permission by the Secretary of Defense. There's also a term called stop movement and that prevents people from going on leave, temporary assignments and permanent change of assignments.

The US Army is the only branch in the military to lower their minimum test scores for admission into the Army. The Military has been giving incentives to enlist and reenlist in specific, critically under-manned and high stress career fields. This hs been going on for years. I enlisted in March 2000 and got $6000.00 just for joining. Anytime you enlist in service you have an 8 year obligation to the service. Now, if you enlist for 4 years, you can end your enlistment, but are on "standby" for 4 more years if times get tough. This has been the policy since Vietnam. If you enlist for 6 years, you only have a 2 year "standby" commitment to uphold if you end your enlistment after your 6 year term. I reenlisted for another 6 years and got no incentives for it. But, I have a commitment and firm belief in what we are doing is right. Democracy is not an easy form of government to have. Because there are many voices to be heard and people to represent. Power is like cocaine, it's addicting and those that have it do not want to share it with anyone. Democracy is also very difficult to establish. We had our own major problems before we finally united and stood for one idea. The USA. Our country is a great country. We have freed millions, fed millions, brought justice to millions and died for millions. Anyone that says America is a bad country needs to put things in perspective. How many other countries have sacrificed so much for people we do not know, nor understand? People like Vex are the ones dividing our country. They want to change it into something the rest of the country opposes. They want to abandon our allies, appease the wicked and empower tyrants. They want our enemies, who have shown their incapability to comply with treaties and multi-national agreements, to posess the most destructive weapons on the planet. Well, that's what I assume because these same people decide to engage in circular dialogue and beg and plead for compliance. They want to use the carrot and stick approach without the stick. Our enemies see their weakness and feel no need to listen to or follow their rules.
