I think that we are given what God wants us to have, including finances. If we misuse what he's given us now, will he give us more? Credit cards are included in that. DOes he want us to owe "pharoah"? I doubt it. He wants us to purchase what we can afford with money that we have, inour possession. If we don't have the cash we dont need to purchase the item. Lets put our priorities straight. Joy

As believers and followers of Christ we will be greatly rewarded if we live by His word. His word tells us to obey authorities over us because as we do so we are obeying Him, We have to remember that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord who are called according to His purpose. He wouldnt allow an evil ruler without there being a reason behind it. So thus we need to obey, regardless of the authority. For He has a plan! Joy

Does the name really matter that much? Are you the same church building? yes! then why even consider a name change? The body of Christ hasnt changed its name... its still the Body of Christ. Has this church been around for many years? To maintain credability I'd stick with its orignal name.
