My husband just told me about this 17 year old who just stabbed her baby to death!! Why do people do that when all you have to do is go to a hospital, police station, or fire dept and drop off your baby without any questions asked whatsoever...I just don't get it....

The enemy will go to any length to destroy souls and ruin God given relationships. I pray that these killings will stop but its just another sign that we are not long for this world. The Lord is comming and when He does there will be justice.

Yeah, I have never been sold on Disney. Its all about business and it just so happens that family entertainment is BIG business.

Im a firm believer in the Holy Spirit. Some "Christians" think of Him as a figment of the imagination. Can you believe that?!?!

Anyway, He is the helper and counseler. I asked to be filled with the Spirit when I gave my life to the Lord and He has been with me the whole time. I feel Him at times and know that through me the Holy Spirit can perform miracles.

Well that about sums it up. All I can say is that I would be lost with out the counsel of the Holy Spirit.

Anyone doing anything interesting over the period?

We are all getting together on Sunday for lunch! I see my moms family for the lunch and after that I take a drive over to Dads and we continue over there.

I dont know how it works in the States (or anywhere else for that matter) but here is SA we have a 4 day holiday! I NEED this rest!

Let's see...you have been courting her for four years. Are you sure you two kids aren't rushing into anything here?

Can she cook?! I have never met a girl her age that can cook like that! Her mom started her cooking young. First time I ate at her house she made a full roast!

As for her credit rating, its all good . Neither of us likes being in ANY debt but of course there are necessary debts. We try to pay for everything with cash.

Her parents are wonderful people! Her dad is a short "portly" jolly fellow and the mother is a nurse. Her older brother is studying to be a pastor. The brother and me have a very good relationship although we tease each other alot. I love them, they love me. I couldnt ask for more.

Yesterday I was scolded because I havent introduced the woman that I will be spending the rest of my life with. Well I thought it was only right that you should know a little bit about her considering that you are all my family.

Her name Is Roxzanne but everyone calls her Rocky. She is 24 (same age as me) and lives in Cape Town South Africa (also the same as me) . She is blonde and has blue eyes and while a photo would be nice you will have to take my word that she is beautiful.

She has Loved and followed the Lord for about 8 years now and has served Him by ministering in the Churches youth centres. She looks after children from ages 1 - 15. She is often there to pick me up when Im down and together we are working towards what God wants for us.

We met at Church about 4 years ago while serving at an Alpha seminar. We were both washing dishes and hit it off really well. We remained friends for a while but realised that we had strong feelings for each other. We courted for about 2 years and then got engaged. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Rocky is the girl of my dreams and I thank God every day that He brought her into my life.

We will be getting married on the 5th of January 2008 in our local Church. We are both very excited and nervous.

So, after all that you know a little bit about my lovely fiance'. Now for the very important question................ does Rocky get your Worthy approval?

Well the Russians werent exactly America's best friend. I guess the disdane for the reds has been carried over even in this time of peace (with the reds).

I have always thought of communism like this, "its a great idea in theory but so is a monarchy". Once you put these things into practice they go horribly wrong.

With all the talk about rock music and its potention negative effect of youth I thought this would be a something encouraging.

For those of you that dont know korn, its a band that plays pretty heavy music. They arent exactly the kind of guys you want to bring home to meet your parents.

I while back the lead guitarist gave his life to Christ and left the band. This was a huge step because he went from multi platimun band to stand alone Christian. It bridged a big gap cause many kids that came to Christ had very few role models (besides Jesus) in the faith.

I was encouraged by this and thought I would bring it up. The website is www.headtochrist.com. Its a little dark and depressing but that is just the artists style I guess. Watch the video under the media section and be inspired.

Me and my friends have braai's. A braai is like your barabaque (hope that is spelled right )

We all get together at one of the guys houses and have a swim, listen to music and maybe have a few drinks. I have a very tight bunch of friends and there are alot of us!

If its a nice day we all head for the beach and chill there for the day. Winter is a little different. We spend alot of our time inside watching movies of playing Playstation. A big favourite is the dance mat! Dance dance!

I work nights shifts one every 3 weeks and it can get VERY lonely as its only me here. The fact that there is always someone online to talk to has gotten me through the nights.

Well I have started my fitness course and have incorporated most of your advise. Im a little sore today from last nights workout but I didnt over do it. Im going to give my wonderful bride a husband that looks decent. Thanks for all your advise! It has and will be really helpful!

As far as introducing my fiance' is concerned. I think that it would be fun to hear what you all think. I'll get in contact with the local jewish mother and we can set something up.

Hey there guys and gals!

Well as many of you probably know Im getting married in a few months. Recently I was sitting in my beanbag eating a packet of chips and it dawned on me, "I have to loose weight"!

Im not exactly what you would call a "fat" person but I am seriously unfit and in need of a little excercise. I imagined myself standing in front of the Church waiting for my bride and I really want to look good

I have started eating right and working out a little. Do any of you have some tips that will help?

Hey there!

Communion is a very serious part of our service. We have it the first Sunday of every month.

I believe that the importance of Communion is watered down in todays society. Lots of people see it as "that boring part of the service". How sad.

I believe that we are doing almost exactly what the disciples did that supper, just on a bigger scale. I dont believe that we are in fact eating Jesus' flesh and drinking His blood. Instead I believe that the bread and wine is a symbol.

While I respect the view that Easter should be free from rabbits I have to disagree.

I was brought up on Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies. I was also taught that these things werent important and that the real reason that we celebrate is that Jesus died for our sins and then rose again.

I view hasnt been twisted and even though I did the bunny thing, I still understand the full weight of what Jesus did for us.
