  1. Excellent points, however most people that have never been trained in law enforcement or military (like you and I) fail to realize how truly dangerous it really is (to both parties) to be violently subdued.
  2. Hey, at least you don't think everything is a government conspiracy.
  3. [biblicist] I'm sorry, I have to jump in here...Some are worried about the girl, who suffered no injuries, but not about the female officer who ended up in the hospital with a broken nose? If our child behaved like that, not only would I approve of a tazer or two, but they'd sure get it at home as well! Unbelievable!! We are without excuse...Or have some forgotten that?
  4. Then I guess we should arm all our police with tranqulizers made for 11-year-olds too. If a kid (or adult for that matter) is acting like a wild animal, they should not be surprised to be treated as one, neglected or not.
  5. I'm 6'3" @ 280lbs...I would have done the same thing to the kid because it was warranted. The kid should be expelled and criminally charged, period. The problem is that too many people seem to think there should not be consequences to their actions, especially kids, but I do not subscribe to that kind of tripe...never have, never will.
  6. More of the typical "do as I say, not as I do" bunk from the liberal leftist eco-freaks.
  7. Its seems that it does both... (from "Ask Alice")
  8. Sorry, but you're incorrect, WrenchGuy. Birth control pills prevent ovulation. Thats not what they taught in health class.
  9. Natural Selection at work.
  10. I thought birth control pills prevented the ovary from releasing eggs during its normal cycle. Nope, they only prevent the fertilized egg from implanting.
  11. Missed that...it is an odd decision, and not likely the correct one.
  12. Don't worry, those of us that are not afraid to defend our borders will keep the wimps safe from invaders.
  13. Simple solution...napalm.
  14. Don't read into it what isn't there... ...it does not say that he was indeed a felon. Obviously if they are returning the items, they likely found that they received bad info. Too bad they did not act properly and actually check his record first.
