Are you saying that the current return of Israel is not the restored Israel because they really have not claimed all their land? Those who see Israel restored will see Christ return? So you don't believe there will be a Rapture? Are you Jewish?

LadyC You are right, eschatology forum! This is the third time I have messed that up. Wisdom has moved 2 of my others over there. I must have a mental block about it or something. So within 2 years? What a trip that will be.

It will be fun to see the results to this one. There is a maximum 10 answers so some picks may not be there that you would want, such as: I don't believe in the Rapture. If you have a different answer just post it here. Results will be discussed after Rapture...but Christ will get the glory.

We have gone on church conventions, helped build church buildings, gone to social functions, done just about everything the church offered. It just always seemed so superficial, on the surface the conversation was always friendly banter, but when church was over everyone has their own lives. So we might as well go to an Internet church. I have talked about more deep Christian things on this board than for years in our last church. How could you discuss anything in a church where questions were regarded with suspicion. They already had all the answers.

I began this thread because we have been "attending" a church for the past 2 weeks online. We have gone to 25 churches since leaving our old church over 3 years ago, and we are running out of energy looking for them. So I thought since they have an online recording that we could just listen to it for a few weeks and get an idea as to if it would be the right church for us. I thought maybe everyone would say the whole idea was strange, yet really I am getting the opposite reaction, except for missing out on BBQ and fellowship of course.

Calamity - If you would look at my previous posts you would see two books that have really helped us in a very similiar situation. We have gone to 25 churches since leaving, but the books made us realize that some Christians who have been hurt, shy away from making another commitment to a church.
