I think that we have all been there. Discouragement is the devil's greatest tool. It's hard to remember, but God is always with you. In good, in bad, He is there.

Finding similar interset is great. My beautiful bride of 13 years and I love to see movies together, play gin, and just talk about any and everything. Our children changed us too, as we devote most of our time and energy to them. But we still make time to spend together, even if it is being in the same room together while reading. I agree that you should find a job. Remember to be patient, a problem I myself deal with daily. In time, the Father will guide to the path He wants you to follow. I pray that you will have clarity and contentment.

Oddly enough, I face the same dilemma with my wife's sister. She is very critical of others and bossy and domineering. I rely on my humor most of the time. When I just laugh at her and her antics, she looks as if she is about to explode. Recently I asked her if it was harder knowing everything in the world or knowing that no one cares what she thinks. Not exactly turning the cheek, but I made a point w/o causing too much tension at a family gathering. Pray for peace!

That is a tough one. I never really thought about loving myself. I regret a lot of things and wish to change some things, but I never really considered whether or not I love me. I've always trusted in Philippians 1:6, that I am a work of the Father being perfected daily daily in Christ Jesus. In the end, I hope to be worthy of His love.

Thanks again for the brotherhood. I am really focusing on being more patient with others and trying to calmly assess the situation. I have returned to weight-lifting as a means to relieve some stress and agression, but prayer-training will be my emphasis!

Seriously, thank you for your inspirational words and kindnesses. I despise the rage I feel welling up in me at times and want to escape it for good. It is so hard to turn the other cheek, but I'm trying.
