Two fifth-graders had sex on a classroom floor while two others fondled each other in the classroom, according to a teacher at Spearsville High School.

Union Parish Superintendent Judy Mabry would say only that the allegations were being investigated; Principal Frank Futch said the incident was not indicative of how the school is run.

First-year teacher Michael Walker, who teaches fifth- through eighth-grade English, said three students were either expelled or sent to an alternative school and two others got detention.

Students at the kindergarten through 12th grade school are unruly, disrespectful and rarely disciplined, Walker said.

"They cuss at the teachers and throw things at them, and nothing is done," Walker said. "There was even one student who grabbed a teacher in the butt and nothing was done. The students run the school."

Walker said teachers learned Wednesday about the incident, which allegedly occurred during an assembly Tuesday to talk about a 15-year-old student accused of stabbing another student to death over the weekend.

The assembly was for sixth- through 12th-grade students. Fifth-grade students were not told about it, he said. But one class of about 15 fifth-grade students that routinely moves from a portable building to a main building classroom during the second hour of the school day was unattended on Tuesday.

"The teacher thought it was a normal day and sent the kids to second hour," he said. "She didn't know the teacher that would normally be in there was still at the assembly."

The students were alone for about 30 minutes.

Teachers began to hear rumors around school Wednesday and by the end of the school day, the students involved had confessed.

School officials notified the Union Parish Sheriff's Office on Thursday morning and detectives questioned students.

"This is one incident and everyone is making a big deal out of it," Futch said. "I never had a teacher complain to me, but I have heard them complain to each other."

Sheriff Bob Buckley said charges are likely. "I have zero tolerance for drugs, violence or anything like that that goes on in school," he said.

When the devil shows up in strength, most of the christians run, or do the ostrich.

I have been privileged to engage in this struggle personally. Myself, my wife, and a strong christian couple who are friends sealed off an entire townhouse complex to demonic entrance a few years ago. We barred the demons from entry onto the property. The demon posessed and oppressed began to move out immediately, as they couldn't live without their demons. People who used to just hide in their homes began to come out in public, and the property manager said to one of us, I love to come over here and work now, all of the bad people have moved out. The development went calm and quiet.

I have other friends who at one time used to hunt for demonic activity and cull it. One of those friends is a soldier who, years ago, had a rather unique collection of military assault weapons. When he held those weapons in his hands, they became as much a part of him as his fingers. There was power in this soldier that was not his, but was utterly clean. He was called to his place and loved it. He also had no fear of anything. He and another of my friends once walked boldly into a witches coven to see what was going on. They saw, they assessed, they shut it down. The night they were there was the last time anyone entered that house. It has since been demolished.

On a saturday afternoon, one of the men who closed the coven, myself, and another christian man went into a cafe, sat down with coffee and began to talk quietly about God. When we got up to leave, the whole place was empty, which is not so strange, but the cashier was afraid. We later found out that the cafe is in the heart of a district frequented by gays. The presence of God with us was enough to evacuate the place.

My niece, who came from troubled parents and even more troubled grandparents, came to live with us for a year while attending school. She brought a number of oddball demons with her. My wife and children were afraid to go into her bedroom because it creeped them out. I thought this too strange, so I went into the bedroom and sought to "feel" what the problem was. At first there was nothing, so I sat on the bed. Still nothing, so I lay down on the bed, and found the demon hiding in the corner. It was a demon of fear. Immediately it seized upon my heart and tried to make me afraid. Nothing doing. I called my wife and children into the room and asked them why they wouldn't come in here normally and got four confessions of fear. So I told them what I was about to do, and that they were to participate. We prayed to God, and then we cast out the demon. As it turns out there were several, because my son was able to discern three separate directions of departure.

But bring this up in a group of ordinary "believers" and its a problem, as if there are no demons, as if it is sin to discuss such things. Gotta love that comfort zone. But my children know better. They have applied the authority of God successfully. Indeed my daughter has three converts whose lives she cleaned up of demonic activity. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Demon's are not to be feared. Steel toed boots have more than one function. Freeze the boots first, that way they hurt more.

I just love inventions and inventers. They are a real special bunch.

To make things simple, I'll come right out with my personal business. And I promise not to hold a grudge if one of you says something insensitive but 'true'. Tell me what you think:

The deal: Three years ago before he was saved my husband committed a couple of crimes. After he was arrested, he genuinly came to Christ (he did, it stuck).

One year ago they finally got around to sentancing him. Make a long story short, he has four more years to go till he comes home.

The damage: I thought he was going to get off with probation. Not because he was good, not because he didn't deserve it, but because I believed God was telling me he would. So this shattering of nievity has caused me to attempt to synthesize everthing back together, and the devil's got his claws in the job.

Stumbling blocks:

*The 'authrity teaching' floating around in my church. We are to take authority and abolish all demonic forces. This put 100% of the responsibility on us. If something bad happens, we should have been able to beat it, we;ve been given the power, etc.

*The 'trials and tribulations' teaching. God puts us through trials for our strenthening. Bad things happen for a believer's good.

* The "God's discipline' or 'natural consequenses' idea. ok, he is our father, but how do we know what he wants us to learn?

So those are three schools of thought I encounter, either in myself or in others when I try to process through this and understand it. They affect how a person views tragetys in others and in themselfves. They are very important. And I am freaking out because I have no idea how God wants me to take this!!

Do I think that I am so perfect as to never have hard times in my life? No, of course not.

Yes, I know there are people out there who suffer so much more than I ever dreamed, and I respect that, but it doesn't answer my questions, only enhance them.

And please don't simplify the dilemma to 'why do bad things happen to me'. I don't care if they happen, I just need to know how to respond.

Listen up OK? There is ALWAYS forgiveness. The Father loves each and everyone of his creation. Now with that being said, he is also a stickler for his laws and wont violate one of them, it would not be very God like to set up laws then break them all ya know? So thats where dicipline comes in. Sometimes when we do something we ought not, there is dicipline that goes along with it. It helps grow up, trial by fire, twice refined. Faith will carry you through your trial. Just look up honey, God love you and yours.

Also, theres mans laws, God usually wont violate one of them UNLESS it goes against his Laws. If so, then God will do what God wills. After all He is God ya know?

Chin up, you will get thru this, somehow I know that to be true.

My question is about marriage, however first let me give the background so you all can better understand. I live in a small town where everybody knows everybody else

On Sunday we took our daughter to a rugby game. They won 17-0 on the way home we were following the team and other cars someone cut off the school bus van and they stopped short and so did the car in front and we ende up not being able to stop so it was a doimino effect. Our Car was total but there were 15 kids invovled and 6 adults and not one of us were hurt. This happed on a major highway in NY city just pass Yankee stadium were cars were going 60 tp 70 miles. If God eye is on the spaworr I know he watchs over me!

Hey all, I'm looking for a few books to purchase to both read now and use as a reference, however I am looking for specific type of book.

I want a book that is basically an introduction to philosophy/theology. Basically I want a textbook in the subjects (like an "Intro to Biology" that you would get in high school). However, I'm hoping to avoid the $100+ average text book price Just a book that introduces the area of study, details various early contributers, and basic research/discussions in the field.

I am not looking for books about specific areas of philosophy and theology (I already have a fair bit of that, such as C.S. Lewis and Francis Schaeffer).

If anyone knows of a book that sounds like what I'm looking for, please tell me. If you know a book that "might" be what I'm looking for, throw that out too, I will check it out online and see if it fits the idea I have in my head

Yes I can that is the truth and the truth will set you free. I had to add one more thing that was a great shame of mine to my testamony. Its something that I have hidden for years because of my shame and guilt but I will speak the truth to the World tonight in hopes of finding redemption and forgiveness.

When I met my now husband I did so as an adultress affair. I now repent of my wrong doing and am turning away from my sin. I did leave my first love which I can not return to as I have a rit of divorce. I guess I am finally free! YAY!!!!!!

Guess there is no forgiveness in the Christian Church anymore. Man, this just gets better and better! I dont know why I bother, maybe I shouldnt, I will just let the Lord take care of my buisness. I trust him, and his judgements.

I come here and one min I feel accepted and the next I feel hostility. What is it that I do that makes people treat me like that? I just try to answer some posts and have fellowship. Hope you dont mind if I complain a bit. There was people on TV today equating blessings with money. Man that burns me up. You know, when I speak of blessings I speak of spiritual blessings, not something as lame as financial blessings. Thats trappings of this world! Man, I am so disapointed that is all they think of.

I saw something on TV today that really made me angry. People are equating blessings with money.

Philippians 4:19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Talk about taking the Bible literally!

God has given me all the riches I could ever want. 50K? Pocket change compared to the riches of the Lord.
