Gods grace, my wife, kids and dogs......... oh and Angels baseball.
  1. Work In Progress, You may be having spiritual attacks and physical attacks. First the spiritual; Get focused on Gods grace and mercy. Gods grace is a wonderful thing. Look up all the scriptures you can about it. Let me just say that I believe Gods Grace is not a doctrine.................it's a *substance* which I believe the Holy Spirit releases into our souls in time of need. Like the adrenal gland which releases adrenilin into our body. The Holy Spirit can release this grace into your soul and believe me it brings peace beyond understanding. I'm addicted to it. God will give this to you if you humble yourself before him in your time of need. Just ask for a dose of Grace and see what happens. Second the physical; Try taking a vitamine suppliment which has a lot of vitamine B complexes in it. Vitamine B makes you sleep better. This may help you sleep through your anxiety attacks. I take spring valley mens one daily, a high potency multivitamin. Vitamin B is called the stress vitamin. A depletion of this vitamin will cause your body to release the chemicals which are related with anxiety. By Gods grace I discovered this. Thirdly, you also may be expereincing a demon molestation. If so, your submission to God will take care of that one without any prob! Now comes the blunt part of this....................most likely you have some sin in your life that you just can't admit too. Well a part of submitting to the Lord is confession of this sin.................you know, the one that affects your life ever since you can remember? Learn how to confess it and allow Gods Grace to handle it. Again, Gods grace is not a doctrine....................it's a spiritual substance that is breathed into your soul and mixes with it. Beautiful Love brotha! :inlove:
  2. Depending on the level of concern, you may want to call child protective sevices and get some information. They keep things anonymous. But be warned, when child protective services get involved, things happen. The backlash and reprocusions are tremendous at times. They will investigate the situation and make recomendations to authorities. I believe if there is any kind of doubt about a child being abused in any way, it requires that call to be made to that department. But remember, when they react, it is usually over reaction. They would rather error on the side of the child then on the side of the possible abuser. Beautiful love
  3. I don't see anything about trinity in the bible, and I am not a oneness penticostal, and I do believe the Father son and holy Ghost are God. Jesus said I and the Father are one, and yet God the Father spoke to Jesus with an audible voice, so they are separate persons. Anyone who can fully understand this is not human. I know Calvary Chapel teaches trinity, but I wish they wouldn't use that word. If Pastor Chuck would just leave it alone then they wouldn't have to defend a word that is not there. Niether Jesus nor Paul ever spoke of a trinity. The word limits the truth and causes divisions that we don't need. That word is used to define a doctrine that we can't understand anyway, yet they think they understand it because they can put a label on the concept. Sound doctrine is like sound wisdom, you can't teach it, only God can reveal it. Try to put sound wisdom into words.................you can't do it, and so you can't put sound doctrine into words, they are like a substance God inputs into our souls, if it is not that way, then it is only knowledge. Being full of knowledge will only puff you up, but sound wisdom and sound doctrine will edify. The purpose of fellowship is to build up and edify one another, through sharing our relationship with Jesus. and many other things, and fellowship is not to show off what we have memorized or know. Beautiful Love
  4. Nope, never been here before this week. Iv'e had this same screen name for years. As far as Trinity goes, I never see Paul talking about the doctrine of the trinity. I see where there are words about the Father Son and Holy Spirit, and they are one, yet different persons......................how can we understand all that? But man tries to by developing this *doctrine of trinity*..................I think we should just stick to the Word. And Grace, did you know Gods grace is not a doctrine? Oh but they have their doctrines on Gods grace.............they try to understand, yet they are blind. Sound doctrine is something so out of our ability to truelly understand that it takes revilation in the Spirit to see it. Discernment to really know it. Anyone, even an Athiest can understand these layed out doctrines we have created, but to see sound doctrine, in the Spirit, takes faith in Jesus, and knowing him personally. If we bow down before a sound doctrine we can actually abandon the truth of the Spirit. beautiful love
  5. I was going to wait a while to bring this one up, but I think I shall right now.............. Pilot once asked Jesus "they say you are king of the jews, is this true?" Jesus replied, "whom do you say that I am?" That is the question. you can say that this mans theology says Jesus is Lord, but whom do you say that he is? Pilot knew of Jesus, but didn't *know him* and that is what Jesus was saying to Pilot. Basically Jesus was saying to Pilot, you don't know who I am do you? You've heard things but you don't know me personally. Can you imagine! God standing before you in the flesh and asking you whom do you say that I am? And you not knowing him! That is what happens to those who indulge themselves in too much theology and doctrine, instead of reading Gods Words to get to know him personally. Beautiful love
  6. Orangeneck, the logic you use in comparisons of spiritual concepts to mathmatics is exactly what I am speaking against. You do need to discover the Father, Son and Holy Ghost for yourself. You do need to discover who Jesus really is, and it's not like inventing a wheel. Jesus said come and lets reason together...............That is exactly what you and every Christian needs to do. You can know a lot about God and not know him, and most of the time those who know a lot of those layed out doctrines and theologies are really week in their walk with the Lord. You asked for a starting point :lightbulb: Well here's one, Gods grace! It's not a doctrine. Beautiful love
  7. How many times have you seen a Christian who has done a lot of reading of another mans theology, and then expounds on it as if it is his own God given revilation? Like some one studying Calvinism and going about teaching it as if God gave it directly to them....................or maybe studying Spurgeons insights and blurting them out like they are your own? Many times I come across men/women who have spent years in a bible college. They have all the doctrines memorized, and can recite versus and theological statements like a tape recorder. But what I see is that they have not spent time with the Lord enough to develope their own theology. It's all memorization of some one elses chewed up doctrine. God gave us his Word with the intention that we spend personal time with him to gather revilation. Then we share with others what God has taught us. That is what fellowship is. One sad thing I see with this artificial gathering of theology is that these people know a lot about God, but they don't know him. God never intended his word to be used like that. We need our own theology derived from meditation on his Word according to what is going on in our personal lives. That is time well spent. Studying what someone else has layed out is of little profit. I'm a married man with three boys and two dogs, I work a very hard blue callor job, my parents are still around but not married, I have brothers and sisters. One brother is a rock star. All of these things make up who and what I am. God has special wisdom for me and my circumstances. If I spend a lot of time studying some one elses theology, I will not attain the wisdom I need for my family and the circumstances. Does anyone want to discuss what it means to develope a personal theology? Maybe share what God has given you as it pertains to your life?
  8. The Lord spoke to me in my heart a few years ago. He showed me details of a demon commissioned by satan who's main abjective was to develope false religious systems and organizations in order to keep believers from growing in grace, and to keep unbelievers from tasting of it. Highly organized Christian sects are a product of this plan. It has inundated the body of Christ. Just think for a moment, if satan were to devise a plan to distract true believers, would he not try to get them involved in committing to an organization which is powerless, yet proclaims Jesus as their savior? Would he not try to get us to submit ourselves as servants to obey the laws and seemingly holy acts ordained by a highly organized institutions, satisfying our great need to be a part of some new movement? I don't know it's true name in the demonic spirit, but I call it * the spirit of concision* The spirit of concision carries a lot of wieght in the body of Christ today. It is responsible for many who fall by the wayside. those who are caught up in it are working hard to be good Christians, yet they have no power to overcome thier sin. They are spiritually bound by guilt and compulsive behaviors which are destructive to their lives. But on the outside they appear to be righteous. Many of our pastors are entangled with this, yet because of the protective guards they have set around them, we never see it. Occasionally one or two of them are revealed, and we *the Body of Christ* are quick to condemn them, only compounding the situation. What are you committed to? Which organization owns you? Do you condemn others for not being the way you are? Do you think you are holy by what you do, instead of what you believe? When one tasts the true Grace of God, one truelly believes that all things work together for good for those who are called according to the grace of God, and they are at rest in their faith in Jesus. When you are at rest, you cease from your own works, which means you stop trying to be a good Christian, and you accept who you are in Christ. It is then you experience the fruit of grace in your life. There is nothing in this universe more intoxicating then Gods grace. It is the very substance of life. Beautiful love
