I still remember one of the first commercials for the walkman. A young girl ruining while listening to the walkman which was attached to her hip by a clip. It was really interesting at that time and ground breaking in my eyes... I can see why though it was still in production until today. Other countries haven't really caught up with technology yet.. and the walkman is super affordable compared with the ipod.

I wish it was that easy ladypeartree.. she gets mad every time I tell her to stop lying to me. It would do no use to text her like that. Seriously, I don't want her.. but every time I set my mind of telling her to take a hike, I hesitate as if I am sinning. Hi ya'll I have an situation that would like your thoughts on. I have an ex-friend who became an ex-friend because of the lies I was being fed by her all the time. Well.. we discussed this after I spent months of not talking to her. During our conversation that day she was completely unapologetic and in fact she went to the extreme in advocating lying because it is 'good' for the person to do so! Well when this happened.. I just stopped talking with her again. It's been months since we last communicated and I'm pretty sure she know why I am upset with her though she'll probably never admit it. Then two nights ago I got a sudden text message from her saying hi and that it's been a long time since we chat so I should try to keep in contact with her. Now the only reason why she is doing this is because she wants something from me.. I don't know what it is, but it's always that way. Once she gets it, she could careless on weither to keep in touch with me or not. Plus she never calls, just text messages me all the time and expects me to call her. I really really do not know what to do with this person. I want to send her away yet I know God put her here for a reason that I just can't understand. I don't like being lied to and it's my number 1 pet peeve in a person. I can understand that people lie and most of the time they do not do it to hurt the person they are with but I'm upset with this woman because she has lied to my misfortune which is not what a good friend would do. SO I don't want anything to do with her... but I have a hard time sending her away. Anyway, looking for some Godly and biblical advice here.. by the way, she is not a Christian.

Actually from a little research even Enoch has already died.. the book of Hebrews writes this after mentioning many of the patriarchs including Enoch. Hebrews 11:13 "All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth."

Why are we waiting for Elijah to come with (some say Moses or) Enoch? According to the Bible, didn't Elijah already come and was put to death? Matthew 17:11 Jesus replied, "Elijah is indeed coming first to get everything ready. But I tell you, Elijah has already come, but he wasn't recognized, and they chose to abuse him. And in the same way they will also make the Son of Man suffer." I don't understand why even some belive Moses is going to come when Moses died also in the wilderness? Jude 1:9 But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said, "The Lord rebuke you!" (This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses' body.) The only one who did not die or return to die was Enoch, so why do so many preachers say Moses or Elijah have yet to return before the last days? By the way, this is just a topic for fun and I don't want any heated arguments to break out because it's not a salvation matter. Good topic. I also remembered the woman who was caught in adultery.. Jesus was silent at that time too when they were expecting an answer from Him.. Does the devil need God's permission to tempt us? Always

Let me cut through the clutter here and get to the point of what everyone is talking about. God is in control. Always was, Always is, Always will be. Job's case is no different from ours. We are no more special than Job or Peter were. If God wanted to use our lives as a testimony for something then He would let it happen no matter if there is the Holy Spirit indwelling or not. Jesus was led away by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness for 40 days to be tempted by the Devil was he not? How is this any different from what we will go through in life? Or what Job went through? It's all the same.

Could be either way, but my advice to you is to RUN. That is what I always do in such a similar situation. Get away from temptation immediately.. just like what Joesph did when he ran butt naked from potiphers wife who was trying to lure him to sleep with her.
