hey bee. this is darcy. im sorry to hear about that. i have a wierd friend too and we get on great cause im wierd too and im pretty sure you know who im talking about but thats besides the point. we are not that wierd. no offence leslie. my suggestion; let her burn herself for a while, then try agian. if that doesn't work try again. i know i sound feeble but maybe this is the kind of thing that takes time. sorry if being ''wierd'' offends you, but i mean wierd in a cool kind of way. and if i have ever done anything in public that has embarresed you, i apologise. good luck with the big L, lots of love, darc. i will pray Thanx Gracie!

Yes we are all wired differently, but that does not mean this young person can dominate this relationship by trying to keep others away. Think about what the word friend means. There are different people in our lives, some come and go that have good purpose. Those who stay should be friends that love all of you and repect you, you can trust the and vise versa. Sometimes we tolerate an awful lot because we are lonely. To keep a friendship out of desperation gives a meaning to companionship. If she is truly your friend you have the unspoken right to try and help her by letting her or him know that the behavior is not acceptable. Whether she is a christian or not. Your real question is should I risk losing this friend? Should I risk making new friends? Try both. Let me know what happens... Okay.

I have a friend named Leslie. I take to AWANA clubs, but she's really annoying and she doesn't know how to socialize with other people. I don't think she's a christian either! (All the more reason to take her to AWANA) I'm like the only friend she has. That's why she calls me her best friend. The thing is she sings opora music all the time and she screams in peoples ears. Two weeks ago someone put a tac on her seat, too. Yes, she's really annoying, but she's my friend. When I try to correct her she pushes me away. :rollseyes: Because she acts so weird, I only have one friend.....Leslie. At this point it turns out that because of her being weird people think that I'm weird, too. But I don't want to hurt her feelings by telling her she's acting weird. *sigh* Do you have any ideas? If not please pray for Leslie and I. Thanx.
