Why did all the people turn against God after they witnessed his miraculous powers when he freed them from Egypt? Why did they mumble and complain about manna and God's laws?

Why do people prefer the teachings and traditions of men to Gods?

For much the same reasons , pride , tradition will they follow Satan after the 1000 year reign.

You do know the word God is generic and is not the name of the creator ? The creator is called by many names in the bible . God is the English word for creator.

The word God and Lord mean a person in power and authority . Its a myth that God is the name of our creator.

Just a guess but I would say what you have posted shows that the Catholics realize God means a person who is honored or has authority and deserves respect. That they know God is not the name or title of the creator of all of us.

Just a guess though as I am not catholic.

Absolutely and family curses are the real problems often times behind things like mental illness and drug abuse.

But the good news is they can be broken by a lot of prayer and godly living.

There is nothing more important to a follower of Christ than learning to pray right.

You have to feel for these kids who are here through no actions of there own.

Personally I am torn. I would like to see us shut down the borders and control immigration as its needed for the security and economy of the US .

But as a follower of the commands of christ. One of them was after all

" I was a stranger and you invited me in" These kids are here and we need to be christ like in our treatment of them.

A person i have been having some conversations with told me i was not a true Christian because i worship on Sundays and Wensdays. To tell the truth I worship Him everyday. Got to say that all these posts are great, even the jokes!

I see this two ways. First, the Bible tells us that when two or more are gathered in His name, He will be with them. To this point, I have church every day.

Secondly, church is for stirring up love, good works and for exhorting one another. I try to do this every day with my Brothers and Sisters.

Why is it important to have one particular day?

The seventh day which we in modern days call saturday.

This is the day God decreed as the sabbath .

Actually the sabbath is from sun down friday to sun down Saturday.

But sabbath keepers know when it is.

God used a donkey to speak to a man .

I certainly hope in the future to have meaningful talks with some of my pets.

I always do the same things no matter how i am cooking it.

Soak it in water over night and keep pouring off the blood and replacing the water.

Salt it really good . Then pressure cook it till tender.

I do this with everything , except deer burger of coarse.

But I can most of my deer meat and use in stews and chilli.

Makes good noodles , gravy and stew meat too.

God is well able to do anything he wants.

There is nothing Christian about Halloween or any elements associated with it.

I believe God created vessels of honor and well as he created vessels of dishonor.

God created evil and good . God is mercy filled and cannot destroy those he created for bad unless they have the chance to know good. These people will be taught the ways and laws of God during the 1000 year reign of our Lord .

In short do not worry. God knows when even a sparrow falls from the sky . He has this man and his best interests at heart . The man will see the full mercy of our God and Lord . He will be given every chance.

God is the creator of all and as such made them female and male.

God no doubt is the best nurturing you will ever get Dan. Not male, nor female but God who is all love and all mercy filled.

The thing that is so uncomfortable is that I think what I've tried to get out of the women in my life can only come from God. God is male and I have a hard time with the concept of being intimate with a male. Its not the biological aspect of sex but its the nurturing aspect of it. Im so empty and desperate for it. I allmost feel blasphemous for asking God to meet these needs.

I'll pray for you too Dan . One thing is maybe your wants are the wrong ones.

When jesus was asked what are the greatest commands he responded love God and no body else above God .

God is your Father and mother Dan and like any loving parent he will let you learn lessons the hard way if you refuse to learn them easy.

What am I talking about? .... God wants you to learn that every human on the planet earth has the possibility of disappointing you Dan. doesn't matter how good their intentions are or how much they love us other humans can and usually do hurt and disappoint us some point in our relationship with them.

But God will never disappoint you Dan and you must learn to love God above all , including family, father , mother, sister, wife friend whomever. When you have learned to do this you will not have the pain of lonliness anymore . Nor will you know disappointment , when somebody leaves you by choice or death . Once you learn that God is all and all and should be your first love , your life will come together . You will understand and trust God that we never really loose anybody , God has that all under control . God gives us what is best for us , when its best for us.

This is what God is trying to teach you Dan.

The truth is that I at a breaking point in my life and I am really trying to surrender. Surrender comes with alot of pain because along with the willfullness I am trying to give up comes death to self. Self dying is the thing thats always kept me from trusting God. It really hurts because you feel like your being nailed to the cross along with the sins that are being crucified. I'm terrified. I have so many needs and desires that are very strong. I am trying to be honest with God on these issues. I even ask him to be intimate with me because I need it so much. Lonelyness is not doable for me. I'm going to get it somewhere. Except, this time I have asked God to supply my needs rather than other things. I am not a girlyman by any description.(Straight) I am very much a man but my deepest needs are like that of a baby. I need a parent that loves me not an old ticked off gray haired clowd dweller thats all about rules. I need God to love me so hard that I don't mind if no one else does. I need to feel it in my soul and I can't wait, It hurts to much. I also don't want to be loved only if I do stuff for him. Does this make sence? How humiliating. I want God to be my mother.

Well as I said the first thing you have to get straight is the fact mankind cannot change the smallest plan of God .

Once you understand that you might feel differently . I think the Red Letter Christians do understand God is in control and everything is going according to plan. Got to get that licked and then everything else is easy and falls into line

So I will ask you Marnie do you think man can stop a human from being born if God has decreed that soul will come into the family of men?
