Because if it was not for the birth of Christ, we would not be celebrating christmas. This is why although we want to spend time with our families and friends and just show our love and appreciation, christ must remain the reason for the season so that we have something to celebrate. I agree with Afal because if we take the christ out of christmas, it will be a season in which we just gratify the flesh and give place for the enemy to work. Christmas would not be christmas without Christ. He is the reason we are celebrating and if we omit the reason out of the season, then what would we celebrate and why?
