  1. Abortion is murder. There is no other way to put it. I agree entirely that anyone who practices it will answer for it one day. However, Sodom and Gomorrah were much worse. From a carnal standpoint, abortion can be justified in many different instances. That's not to say I think it IS justified, as I do not believe it is EVER justified, no matter what the circumstance. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah, however, were purely wicked, and knew it. There is no way to justify gang-raping two men just because they are new in town, but that is exactly what they were going to do. They were so far gone that they even refused Lot's virgin daughters, which brings up another point. Why didn't they want Lot's daughters? Were they so depraved that the natural desires had left them, and they now lusted for the unnatural? Remember also, that the quote about God apologizing, though it was made in an effort to sound profound, insinuates that God answers to someone else. God owes NOBODY an apology. He didn't apologize to Job, did he?
  2. Remember, folks, that God gave the commandment to Adam before Eve was created. Therefore she would have been more easily deceived, as her commandment came, most likely, from Adam. Remember what it says in the text: God told Adam not to eat of the fruit. Eve, however, when confronted by the serpent, said God said neither eat it, nor touch it, lest ye die. This tells me that Adam, out of fear, added the latter part to make absolutely sure it wouldn't happen. When Eve touched it and didn't die, this was more than likely all the proof she needed that Adam had been wrong. Remember also, that these were the only two in the garden, so the idea of Adam not letting Eve wander off out of jealousy is ludicrous. He could't have felt jealousy, anyway, as he was a perfect being, knowing no evil. I do not think that Adam would have allowed Eve to eat had he been there. Remember, also, what they said when God asked them had they eaten. Adam made no mention of the serpent, which tells me he didn't know about it. He said Eve gave him the fruit. Eve was the one who mentioned the serpent to God, which tells us that she was the only one that knew about it. Also, consider this: What was Eve doing so close to the tree, anyway? Genesis doesn't specifically say so, but the implication is that she was somewhere near it, else she couldn't have seen that it was good for food and pleasant to the eyes... God commanded Adam not to eat. When Adam ate, They were both cursed.
  3. When you think of a fruit that grows on a tree, what's the first one that comes to mind? Well, I dont think it was an apple. I dont think God had any reason to destroy the tree, either, as the damage had already been done. Now the only thing the Bible says is that they used fig leaves for clothes when they realized that they were naked, which means the fig tree WAS somewhere nearby...
