Wow!.... that one really hit me. Thanks tsth. I do know both of the women involved, but not enough to "hang out" with them. I would not hang out with them because of their habits. I found out that they were both "high" at the time. I quit doing drugs years ago and I quit drinking and I feel that it is better if I don't associate with those who do.

Just this morning something terrible happened. I live in an apartment community on Kent State Campus here in Ohio. Just 3 doors away there were cops and paramedics there. The girl (A) that lives there was being savagely attacked by another girl (B) that live in this community also. It seems that girl B was staying the night at girl A 's apartment. People woke up to hearing girl A's screams as girl B was beating her in the head and face with a hammer. My problem is that, although it was something horrible, I just couldn't care less. It's like, "Oh well - just another day."I see it on the news, read it in the paper and know that it is the evil that men do. Nothing can surprise me or interest me. I already have anger against the human race and really do pray that the second coming of Christ get's here really really soon.

The Scriptures seem to indicate that various rankings of responsibility or authority exist among God's angels. The angel, Michael, is referenced as an "archangel", which indicates that Michael is stationed over other angels ("Michael and his angels" - Revelation 12:7). Now, if the exaltation of the Devil's station implies greater strength or greater authority, it cannot be determined. However, in considering the Devil's original station, we should reexamine the passage cited regarding Michael's place: Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!" (Jude 1:8-9) Please notice that Michael's example is set in contrast ("Yet" or "But") to false teachers (Jude 1:4, 8-11, 14-18), who reject and speak evil of those in authority over them. Therefore, Michael is used as an extreme example of not reviling those who are in authority over us, because no one deserved rebuke more than the Devil, yet Michael would not offer it. Why? Remember the context. What is this example trying to teach, except that we should not revile and reject authority set over us? Therefore, Michael the archangel recognized that the Devil at one time had great authority, possibly even over him! Whether or not the Devil still has this authority is doubtful, because this event would have most likely transpired shortly after Moses' death. Therefore, it would have occurred before the removal of the Devil's authority and "place", which happened some time around the Lord's crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension (Revelation 12:8-9). Furthermore, John records the figurative triumph of "Michael and his angels" over the Devil. Does the bible teach us that this is possible? No and it actually warns us to let God deal with him/the demonic realm. The concept of "binding and loosing" is taught in Matthew 16:19 and 18:18, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." In this verse, Jesus is speaking directly to the Apostle Peter, and indirectly to the other apostles. Jesus' words meant that Peter would have the right to enter the kingdom himself, would have general authority therein symbolized by the possession of the keys, and preaching the gospel would be the means of opening the kingdom of heaven to all believers and shutting it against unbelievers. The book of Acts shows us this process at work. By his sermon on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14-40), Peter opened the door of the kingdom for the first time. The expressions "bind" and "loose" were common to Jewish legal phraseology meaning to declare forbidden or to declare allowed. Peter and the other disciples were to continue on earth the work of Christ in preaching the gospel and declaring God's will to men, and were armed with the same authority as He Himself possessed. In Matthew 18, there is also a definite reference to the binding and loosing of church discipline. The apostles do not usurp Christ's lordship and authority over individual believers and their eternal destiny, but they do exercise the authority to discipline and, if necessary, excommunicate disobedient church members. Christ in heaven ratifies what is done in His name and in obedience to His Word on earth. In both Matthew 16:19 and 18:18, the syntax of the Greek text makes the meaning clear. What you bind on earth will already have been bound in Heaven. What you loose on earth will already have been loosed in Heaven. In other words, Jesus in heaven, looses the authority of His Word as it goes forth on earth for the fulfillment of its purpose. Yet sadly many people in some church circles have abused those verses to a pulp in trying to make them walk on all fours - declaring that they can name it and claim it. I agree with the testing. Although I was a big time smoker of pot, I quit and never regretted it. I don't think that it is an invasion of privacy - it is necessary. At one job I had - I saw 3 women come close to getting killed by a forklift BECAUSE THE DRIVER WAS STONED. I also worked another factory job where we ran punch presses the size of a house. Some of the guys would go out at break time to smoke some dope, then come back in to work. Then you have to pray that they don't hit the press button while you are inside it pulling out parts.

Some of the things I may say in this forum, might rub people the wrong way. For this I am sorry and will apologize ahead of time. I grew up being abused, starting before I was 1 year old. For example: I was in my walker and crying about something (as all babies do). Instead of finding out what was wrong - my father kicked my walker, with me in it, down the basement stairs. My mom moved out with my 2 brothers and I. She had to continue going to work, so my brothers and I were always home alone. When ever mom did meet another guy, he was always just as abusive. My mother has always provided for us and took great care of us. It was just that she had the wrong taste in men. I did a teriffic job at blocking out most of my memories, but most of this stuff has hardened me. My first arrest, by the police, happened when I was 11 and it didn't stop until a few years ago. By the time I was 15 - I was into drugs and alcohol and moved out of my mom's house. If I wasn't stealing things, committing B&E, or partying - I was beating somebody up. 70% of my life, so far, has been angry and ugly. I then got married and started to abuse her. We divorced after I went to jail for DV. Then I met another woman and abused her too. My anger was so tremendous that I would start to black out. I was never in control when the anger too over. My anger has started to be a seperate entity that I call "The Beast Within" I even wrote a poem about it I will write it if you care to read it - just ask. Now I am with my fiance, and she has really made some changes in my life. We may argue, but nothing physical. I do still get angry to the point of blacking out, but I manage to push the beast back into his cage. Now my big problem is that I hate the human race and what they have become. I will not celebrate Christmas because of what it has become. Commercialism. "Santa Clause" is not welcome around me (just seeing him makes me mad). Re-arrange the letters and Santa becomes Satan. - What happened to the birth of CHRIST?? Easter is all about a colored egg laying rabbit and candy - I take it for the resurrection of CHRIST!! The government is major evil and the people have no say. I could go on and on, but Stephen King would be small compared to my thoughts. Speaking from my own experience (and opinion)- race should not be an issue. The only issue should be your love for eachother. If he makes you truely happy and you the same for him, then listen to the LORD and your heart. Let your faith guide you and live in happiness. I am white and I am engaged to a black woman. I was really nervous at first about the racial differences, but God has made me blind to the differences in our skin color. She truely makes me happy and loves the Lord. I know that it was the fruit of knowledge, do you think that God would have removed the fruit from ever growing again, or could we still be eating it today?

When I was younger, I was always led to believe that the forbidden fruit was an apple. I have even seen pictures of Adam & Eve and there was a apple in it.
