I am trying to show the "points" the KJV Only make. The KJV does say word for word there is no God, does it not? it is a simple yes or no.

Ok which bible? Which VERSION of the KJV?The one in 1611 or one of the revisions in 1613, 1629, 1638, 1644, 1664, 1701, 1744, 1762, 1769, or the last one in 1850? Please specify which one.

OK here is one for the logic of KJV Only. Butero and Manuel did y'all realize the KJV says not once but twice "There is no God?"

"Pure word of God?" Have you ever read the preface to the King James? It is by the group of men who comprised the translation. First off they stated undeniably to look for other translations/versions to learn. 2nd even they acknowledged it was not pure!

We have go at it with the NIV and funny how you dropped it when I posted from the NIV the verses you said were missing. Then you jumped translations because I proved it. Here is my question: the KJV was NOT the first bible nor the first English bible. So what makes it the "Bible?" You do realize that ole King James wanted the new bible cause he did not like the Geneva bible. He believed the Geneva challenged the "divine right" of kings and wanted his own to counter it. The main bible in use for the English was the Bishop's bible and still the Great bible was the "authorized" bible by a king of England. Even when first here in America, Pilgrims, etc did not use the KJV and in fact hated it.

No modern attempt to corrupt the bible. You do realize the Vulgate was one of the prime pieces to make the KJV? Look it up. A guy named Erasmus did it...BTW he was a Roman Catholic!!! So where is the conspiracy there? Even the RCC calmed him down with some of the Vulgate manuscripts he had... due to additions to scripture. One the the primary is 1 John 5:7. It has been called the "comma Johanum" and in the 1611 version was not there....but is in side notes.

Butero, one thing I have to share the nuttiness of KJV Only. Many youth where I am at have pointed fun at KJV ONLY. How? The KJV has unicorns in it and satyrs (which are greek mythology). When told the KJV is right and modern versions are wrong, they then equate the KJV with The Lord of the Rings fantasy.... So are you the same saying that unicorns mentioned in KJV and satyrs are for real or not?

That is your fallacy. What modern translations say is that English is a horrible language to translate into from the biblical languages. For Example: LOVE on word in english. In greek you have eros, agape and phileo. So when you read the bible in english which greek word of "love" is it referencing? Also is now how we now use words, example "did he hear" versus "did he listen."

Actually you are wrong. The Stuggart manuscripts which are the bulk of the TR do NOT have Mark 15:28...... Is it not amazing how KJV ONly like to distort this and that to edify the KJV to that equal of God himself. Many churches have split. Many lives have been ruined by KJV Only. It is a disease.

The TR is not the only set of biblical documents. It also does not mean others that are not are corrupted or wrong. Ever heard of the Orthodox church? What bible do they use? Do you even know? Why do you spread discontent, confusion and discord?
