  1. Actually, I think Andy beat Roger in a tune up before the Australian. (Key word there is think!)

As for the David Cup tie. the U.S men won; on clay. What a way to start the short Davis Cup season.

The quest for the American Double starts this coming week, in the Pacific, at Indian Wells. Maria is going to be defending here title. Then, it's off to Key Bscayne for the tournamanent whose name changes about every other year. Should be fun, though.

  2. Okay, I read through everything. Definitely an interesting thought. Joseph makes some interesting points, which I can't remember at the moment, without looking at the article.

Alright. Arafat. Terrorist. Taking him out? Hhmmm.... Doing this really have to be that difficult??!! My answer: take him out. Talk about a threat to world wide justice and peace. I agree with Shiloh and Yod: leaving him alive is like leaving Saddam Hussein and Osam in power. Or if we look back at biblical times; Egpyt, the Philistines, Haman, Babylon, Antioches IV, and the other enemies of Y'isra'el. (Yes, you can boo them all!!! ) Terrorists are the same. There is no telling good terr from bad terror. Yet, when it comes to Y'isra'el, the world tells this one nation, the one that G-d has completely sworn to protect, "You must give in to terror. You must accommodate it. Then, it will go away. You just have to give up your existence." Talk about meshuggannah!!! (Not sure I spelled that right.) (I guess you can tell that I'm writing this without looking back at the past quotes. Only get so much time on library computers, you know what I mean.)

Just reread one of Shiloh's post. Self-defense. Yes, that's what this is about. Taking out Arafat is an act of self-defense. If Y'isra'el does not have right to do this, then we had no right to go after Hussein and Osama. It's that simple. The U.S. has the right to go after those terrorists. Y'isra'el has the right to go after terrorists on their own land. Would he become a martyr? Hey, if they're going to make him one anyway (and I pray that they don't), why not get it over and done with?! You know what I mean. Save us all from any future wondering. Not that it would be a surprise, really.

By the way, Shiloh, I really like this: 1Candle_Israel_Support-1.jpg

  3. It's interesting that this piece was written shortly before Pesach. Anyway, I agree. The scriptures that you shared teach us a lot about this very important festival: one of the three pilgrimmage festivals. As it stands, the festival is coming up near the end of May, for this year. It should also be mentioned that Shavu'ot is the festival in Acts 2. It wasn't just some random thing, you know.

  4. Y'isra'el and the West Bank. Good topic. Okay, so I agree that it is Y'isra'el's. I also believe that there are a lot of other Palestenian states around Y'isra'el and in the world: all of the Arab states that currently exit. Do we need another one? NO!!!!! We already have too many.

I've been doing some reading on the subject, as well as listening to Joseph Farah's message from the Messiah 2003 Conference. There is a lot of good stuff that he mentioned. He's an Arab Believer in Yeshua (Jesus). He loves Y'isra'el. Give him a listen and check out his website. I can't currently remember what it is, though. I'll write down here some other time.

  5. So, how are all of your tennis fans and/or players doing out there? What is your favorite shot? What do you love about the game? Come on, don't be share, just get out there, take a shot and serve up some tips, ideas, questions, and fun. First serve.

  6. Alright. It's been a while since I have been to get on and take a look around, especially at something that I started. I love this sport. Granted, I don't always get a chance to play, but I do get out now and then. The last match I saw was last Sunday; April 18th. Venus vs. Conchita. I wanted Conchita to win. She lost.

On a personal note, I played 4 sets that day. Lost all four: 1-6, 0-6, 0-6, 4-6. Three gorgeous hours on the courts, besides the losing part. It was good though. Such is life. G-d, friends, family, tennis. What more could you want. :t2:

  7. I know that song: "Sing for Joy." The first time that I heard it was on Paul Wilbur's "Shalom Jerusalem" album. It's done with "Shouts of Joy." Great song. I think I've heard "Come into the Holy of Holies." By the way, if you get a chance to register for the Messiah 2003 Conference, Paul Wilbur is going to be there. I still need to get my registration taken care of. It's going to be awesome and G-d filled. Seven days in the Presence of the L-rd! or come for an individual day or days. It's an amazing time. Check out: messiah.mjaa.org.
  8. This one was written by John Sellers. It's a short chorus. The dance to it is at the Intermediate level. We usually do a song called "Through Our G-d" with it. I'm listening to this song is I type. It's called "Let G-d Arise."

    Let G-d Arise

    Chorus

Let G-d arise, let G-rd arise

    Verse

    Let His enemies be scattered

And let the righteous be glad

Yes let them rejoice with gladness

    G-d has triumphed mightily

(Repeat Chorus and Verse as often as you like)

  9. One of the people that I know, that I worship with is Kathy Shooster. Her song "Holy is the L-rd Almighty" is a beautiful song and needs to be shared.

    Holy is the L-rd Almighty

Holy, holy, holy is the L-rd Almighty

Holy, holy, holy is the L-rd Almighty

    The whole earth

    Is filled with His glory

    The whole earth

    Is filled with His praise

And the whole earth will be filled

With the knowledge of the L-rd

As the waters cover the seas

And we shall be named for the L-rd

A kingodm of priests unto our G-d

    Proclaiming the praises of ADONAI

Leading in mercy and truth singing

    Hallelujah unto Yeshua

    Hallelujah, holy is the L-rd

    Holy is the L-rd

  10. This one is by Debbie Chernoff, of Congregation Beth Yeshua: Psalm 30.

    Psalm 30

    verse

    I will exalt You O L-rd.

For You have lifted me up

I called to You, L-rd, for help

    And You healed me

I will rejoice in the morning

    At noon and at night

For You have shown mercy to me

    Chorus

    So I will dance

You have shown mercy to me

    My heart will sing

You have shown mecry to me

    Fill me with joy

You have shown mercy to me

You have shown mercy to me

    (Repeat Verse and Chorus 1x)

    Bridge

    My mourning now

    You have turned into dancing

    You removed my shroud

And now I'm clothed with joy

That my heart may sing to You

    And not be silent

For You have shown mercy to me

    (Repeat Chrous twice)

(Rpeat Last line of the chorus once)

  11. Baruch HaShem!!! I've never met the Segals or Karen Davis. Jonathon is a great person. I've worked with his son at last year's Messiah Conference. He'll probably be there this year. I worship with the Chernoff family, so I love Joel. I met Marty Goetz in March. I'm planning on being at this year's Messiah Conference; June 23rd to July 5th. Can't wait it to get here. Will pray about making it to the Orlando thing. However, nothing can replace the feeling of being at the steps in the Old City of Yerushalayim itself!!! I have experience the Land that I will always call home; Eretz Y'isra'el!! I want to go back so badly!!!
  12. This song is one of my favorites. It's from the Shalom Jerusalem Album. Written by Paul Wilbur. It's one of the first songs that I heard at Congregation Beth Yeshua. The dance for it is an easy dance and helped open the dance floor for me. It was the first song on April 11 that we dance to, when the College and Career of Beth Yeshua lead service and I was on the dance team, so I got to lead in all of the dances that we did, which I knew anyway. Here's "Sing Hallelujah."

    Verse 1

    Come let us sing for

    Joy to the L-rd.

    Let us shout aloud

To the Rock of our salvation.

    Let us come before

    Him with thanksgiving

    And extol Him with

    Music and with song.

    Chorus

    Sing halle, hallelujah

    Sing Hallelujah

    Sing halle, hallelujah

    Sing halle, hallelujah

    Verse 2

    Come let us bow

    Down in worship

    Let us kneel before

    The L-rd our Maker

    For He is our G-d

    And we belong to Him

    We are His people

    The flock under His care

    (Repeat chorus)

    Song speeds up in Tempo

    (Repeat verses 1 and 2)

    Come bring your praises

    to the L-rd

    Shout aloud to the

    Rock our our salvation

    Holy, holy is the L-rd

Clap hands once at the end, right as the song ends.

  13. I have noticed that everywhere I seem to go, there is hardly any talk about the great sport of tennis. As a fan, I thought I would start a conversation about it. I love to play the game and enjoy watching it on TV, when I can. So, for all of those tennis fans out there, come on over and visit. :T
