Bible-study, recreational reading (sports, American and Texas history, etc.), Texas Longhorns football, Texas Rangers baseball, old-time rock & roll ("classic" rock, they call it now) and becoming more and more fond of C & W, movies (esp. old ones), cruisin' in the country late at night when I can--just me and the Holy Spirit talking things over in my car.

About Me

I'm a Texas boy--born and bred. Some folx love me for the same reasons that others hate me. Was married once for 18 yrs. to a wonderful woman (she still is); have been divorced and single now for 19 yrs. The most special thing about me is something only Jesus knows; He laid down His life for me, which tells me I have a worth I'm as yet oblivious to. My picture on this profile is with my three grandchildren from summer of 2005 on my front porch. They (and my daughter) are the love of my life and my crown (Prov. 17:6).
