  1. Shalom and chag sameach, Marilyn C. and Ezra. I’m sorry to be the one required to tell you this, but compounding the number of types and symbolism you see (or THINK you see) in the Scriptures, even regarding this structure called the “New Jerusalem,” is NOT “going deeper!” If you truly desire to “go deeper” in Scriptural matters, learn detailed information of what you are reading! Learn and know the difference between “preach” (keerussoo) and “preach” (euaggellizo) and when each was used! Learn the difference between “but” (de) and “but” (alla) and when each was used! Learn the difference between “LORD” (YHWH) and “Lord” (Adonay) and when each was used! Learn the difference between “love” (agapee) and “love” (phileoo) and when each was used! ..... There’s MUCH to know about what you are reading to be SURE that what you THINK you are reading is actually what was WRITTEN! People today make many assumptions about what they are reading that is just SO far off from what was written that it isn’t even funny! And then, they compound this error by adjusting their theology to these assumptions! AND THEN, they compound this error further by TEACHING this ... garbage ... to others as though it was the truth of Scripture! You know what will be rich? It’ll be sitting down with Yeshua` (if He takes the time to do so) and telling HIM what you see in the Scriptures! After He’s stopped laughing, He might say, “Y’know, I never saw that before! Of course, it’s total fiction and hogwash, but ... hey ... it’s fascinating to see how you think!” Then, He’ll probably call over one of His students to straighten you out. Sometimes, our theories and ideas in theological matters paint an image in our mind of what Yeshua` was like that doesn’t ring true when compared to His biographies. For instance, does your image of the Messiah easily fit with this passage? Matthew 19:16-17 16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. KJV Mark 10:17-18 17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. KJV Luke 18:18-19 18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. KJV What about Yeshua`s explanation to the Yhudiym (Jews) about His claim to be the “Son of God?" John 10:24-40 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one. 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? 37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. 39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, 40 And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode. KJV Why would Yeshua` have to pray to God if they are one and the same? Wouldn’t God know what Yeshua` was thinking (as we claim He knows each of our thoughts, as well)? Matthew 14:23 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. KJV Matthew 19:13-15 13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. 15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence. KJV Matthew 26:36-44 36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. 37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. 38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. 39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. 40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. 42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. 43 And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. 44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. KJV Mark 1:35 35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. KJV Mark 6:46 46 And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray. KJV Mark 14:32-41 32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray. 33 And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy; 34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch. 35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. 36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. 37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour? 38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. 39 And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words. 40 And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him. 41 And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. KJV Luke 5:16 16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. KJV Luke 6:12 12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. KJV Luke 9:28-29 28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. 29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. KJV Luke 22:31-32 31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. KJV Luke 22:39-46 39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. 40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. 41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, 42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. 45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, 46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. KJV John 14:16-17 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. KJV And of course, John recorded for us His rather lengthy prayer in John 17. Therefore, I say, learn to know the difference between being identical with the Father and being ONE with the Father! John 17:11 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. KJV John 17:20-23 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
