I was watching PBS News yesterday. At the end, the anchorwoman asked viewers to remember elderly neighbors or the disabled who might not have gotten to the market on time. I thought what a nice thing for her to remind people about! I am one of those senior citizens without family to check on or help me. I just had a cold, and it was two separate neighbors who helped by bringing my 90 year old mother and myself a little food. One neighbor is about 40, a lady. The other neighbor is a young man, mid to late 20's. Both of them helped us joyfully. So please everyone that is younger or more able to help others, don't forget to check on your older or disabled neighbors. Especially if they don't have family to help them.
