The writer of Hebrews tells us in Chapter 9 that Moses' tabernacle was a pattern (architectural drawing) or a shadow of things as they really are in Heaven. In other words, there is a Temple in Heaven. In it, there is a heavenly Ark and Mercy seat (or Mercy Throne - called " Throne of Grace" in Hebrews 4:16). This is where Jesus took His own blood after His death. He sprinkled it on the heavenly Mercy Throne that our sins might be paid for and covered over (read Hebrews 9:19-24). There is also a heavenly Altar of incense where a real angle takes our prayers and offers them with heavenly frankincense before the throne of God. I don't see this as a "how to" o much as a simple fact. According to Heb. 9:23 Christ entered the heavens to purify the heavenly things, which had also been corrupted by Satan's rebellion. This He did once for all time. So there is now no more need for either the continual sacrifices in the earthly temple, nor is there a need for Christ to be sacrificed again. Now, the reality of Christ's sacrifice can be experienced daily by the believers. This is done by contacting the mingled spirit (The Spirit in our spirit) in prayer. Any type of prayer enacts the blood of Christ in our lives - whether simple, general, or complex.
Guest
Any type of prayer enacts the blood of Christ in our lives - whether simple, general, or complex. Amen! Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Hebrews 10:19-
